The volume control on the labs is hands down the best feature of these buds. Been using it since I got my buds+. To get it to work properly, instead of tapping the front of ear, tapping at the back of the ear works everytime. Worth giving it a try.

There's a trick, which works pretty well for me, in the "double tap earbud edge" thing to adjust the volume, in the labs section as you mentioned. Instead of double-tapping on the earbud edge, try double-tapping on the back of your ears.
It works for me 99% of the time. (In my Buds+)

The fit and sound quality is amazing...I could even hear some additional instruments, soundscapes in certain music tracks/songs that were never picked up by the normal earphones/headphones 😃
About the labs feature -> it does work but we need to tap on 'ear' edge and not earbud edge. Samsung should actually change the wording in the app. We need to double tap on the ear (just above earlobe) and then it works all the time.

If you just double tap on the helix (part of ear, google it), it works like 90-95% of the time. And tbh it’s amazing. Just try it and maybe you can then add a comment on how good it was.

I have been using XM4 for a year now. I have seen a few people complaining about comfort. You have to make sure to have the right tips for your ears and have to squeeze the tips every time you put them into your ears, this way the fitting will be good enough. Without the squeezing, they will not fit into your ears. I have tried buds pro and AirPods as well. I still feel Sony is a step ahead in ANC, sound and battery. Even the Sony headphones are great, I have been using WHXM3 for the last couple of years and no complaints.

  • @karanmorandani
    @karanmorandani Год назад +3

The volume control in lab test works best if you tap the fin of ‘your ears’ while wearing them instead of taping the fin of the buds itself, which is very difficult to do while wearing them. It gets almost 90% accurate when you tap the fin of your ears from back.
PS- want to mention about the tags in bottom left of the video. It got messed up when you started talking about Buttons and got worse when you talked about battery life. Just a suggestion but other wise the video was great and as detailed as always.👍

Even for the lab options to change the volume you need not touch the buds itself. There's an accelerometer present in the buds, so you can touch the portion of the ears in contact with the edge of the buds and it'll work just fine. Have used it both in buds pro & buds 2 pro. Worked without any issues (almost)

  • @Ojas008

There's volume adjustment possible without using the labs feature. You need to customize the action for long press ( have the galaxy buds pro so can confirm it works).
The better fit also might be contributed due to the fact that Samsung has switched to circular shape for stem rather than an elongated oval.

    1) Microphone test in relative silent room settings and perhaps a busy outdoor enviornment eg coffee shop or a road etc..
    2) Sound test (these days we have lot of off the shelf equiptment to transmit the music to the recording MIC)
    3) Bluetooth range you can move around a bit to get the range captured
Minor things like the above will make your reviews even more authentic and lively…

I used OG Galaxy Buds Pro for over 7-8 months and ALWAYS used the double tap to adjust the volume with various devices and never did it ever NOT work. It always worked flawlessly. I tap on the top of the bud instead of what Samsung suggests. Now that I use Airpods Pro, I still at times tend to tap the top of them to adjust volume LOL

Switch on the volume adjustment from the labs. And tap on the back of the ear and not back of the buds. Just above the ear lobes.
It works 100% for volume adjustment.

These are such perfect earphones for me. I don't care about multi device support, dislike when you can only use 1 earphone it stops. I have a samsung s20 fe 5g where the 24 bit lossless audio will be supported as I also use Apple music. Sound stage is wide and are open sounding. I don't like overpowering bass. Everything suits me perfectly! Plus they are available for ₹8750 in the sale, i.e. more than 50% off.

Bought, returned my Galaxy Buds Pro because they never quite fit right and ANC on earbuds isn't as good as I'd expected (used to Sony headphones' ANCs). Will probably favour my much cheaper IEMs for at least another year or so before upgrading, until multi device connectivity (or NFC) are more common, and ANC is better (besides, at launch the Buds 2 Pro are too pricey)

    Hey @Ranjeet,
You need to reconsider on your statement about ease of use from TWS , and that lab part .It is actually very ergonomically designed and also played well. You might have not explored that option but to raised the volume you just have to double tap your ear fins and it will increase the volume and decrease also with other ear fin. Even apple didn't think about it before. Please try it and Thank me later. THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO
