I think a reason for buds FE winning in so many categories is just the fact that its the newest pair, and technology has improved since back when other models were released, its simply cheaper to include better ANC n water resistance now than it was back then
FE sound is worse than buds 2. FE has artificial highs and a huge peak around 8 khz. The extra driver (tweeter) in buds2 makes a considerable difference.
@RobVanDam1591 I've been using buds2 pro for a few days, I must say they are rlly comfortable, but have abit of risk of falling out, tho I'm not a gd person to compare with cos I hv pretty small ears, just glad the buds can even fit in my ears properly lol
I think I'm going to stay with the Pro 2 since the audio quality and a couple of features are better, but I really want to buy the FE to send the signal to Samsung that we love the wingtips and want them to come to the higher-end buds.
I love that you incorporated the older models! I personally use the Galaxy Buds Pro, and so it makes it very nice when you still use them in the reviews 😅
I'm not exaggerating when I say that the Galaxy Buds FE are the only earbuds I have ever bought from any brand that will stay in my ears. I bought some for my mom for Christmas and was so blown away by the fit that I immediately went out and got a pair for myself.
The biggest reason I bought my raycons a few years ago was for the fit. They were some of the only ones on the market at the time and I fell in love with the tips
Got some buds 2 for 60 bucks on amazon recently since I got a new phone and lost the headphone jack - pretty solid for casual listening on the go without breaking the bank
14:44 you're wrong about the galaxy buds 2 not having a 360 audio I have a galaxy buds 2 pair and they do have 360 audio and I use it all the time it works perfectly fine.
I just got the FE buds yesterday. Pros: Decent sound quality with fairly good bass, ear wings for solid stability, nice integration with Samsung, ambient mode is good, compact case... Cons: In-ear detection is horrible, very limited control customization, ANC is meh (Hoping to remedy that with some Spinfits), no Qi wireless charging, eartips feel cheap, earbuds could be a bit louder, & lack of EQ personalization. All-in-all still a decent pair of buds if you're in the Samsung ecosystem.
I'm consider buying FE BUT I am concerned with the comfortability, anyone used them for long and can tell me if they are comfortable especially for gym?
I have the buds live. They work the greatest for me as far as fit. The others fall out of my ears constantly. And i also like to hear my surroundings. They work great in warehouse surroundings. Also the battery life is great.
Same here. Any earbuds that are "mushroom" shaped do not stay in my ear will always fall out. I bought the buds live on the hope that they will fit better and they fit significantly better than any other ear buds I've had.
Yeah, it's so annoying how every review gets the double-tap wrong because it doesn't come with the default settings and was added later as an "experimental feature"
Thank you for this comparison. I have Galaxy Buds Pro and recently I bought for my wife Galaxy Buds 2, they are very good, I can't hear much difference between the sound of 2 of them. I also like Galaxy Buds FE, but here in Czech Republic, you can actually get Galaxy Buds 2 for cheaper price than Galaxy Buds FE. I think Galaxy Buds FE will dive in price soon, but until then the Galaxy Buds 2 are I think better choice if they are cheaper.
The original galaxy buds are my favorite headphones I've ever owned, I've had my pair since 2019 and I bought them used. They've performed perfectly throughout the entire time I've owned them, even after losing one bud in the school cafeteria and having to dumpster dive and rip through 3 trash bags to find them (the find my earbuds feature is a lifesaver), after leaving them in rice for a few days they were back to perfect again without a hitch. They're also super easy to clean and the sound quality is very good as well. Very happy to see a similar design and price range for the new FE's, and I will definitely be purchasing a pair for myself Edit: thank you for the review by the way, very useful comparison 🙏
I haven't owned the other Galaxy earbuds so can't compare, but I have the Buds2. Absolutely love the fit and comfort over any other earbuds that I have used. Buy them on sale (There's almost always a deal around that brings them below $100 USD). I am all about a well-balanced sound and the Buds2 do this very nicely at the price.
I got Buds 2 yesterday and compared it to Buds FE and im impressed by the cleaner and more layered sound but disappointed by the lack of bass. And impressed by the noise cancelling being slightly better than Buds FE (i had low expectations cause i won't use that feature much). But honestly if i would give Buds 2 9/10, i would give Buds FE 8.8/10
@@tsarvarr Yes it is an issue so consider that. I dont do exercises😅 But yeah it doesn't fit my ears well but i mostly dont do sudden moves so it doesn't fall. Also it isn't much comfortable.
Try adjusting the equalizer for more bass. You can adust twice, one in the Earbud setting, the other is on the phone settings. With the update to one ui 6, the bass has even become better.
@@berkhimself are the FEs more comfortable than the buds 2 pro? Im asking cuz i have buds 2 pro and not comfortable for me as well when im doing intensity related excercises such as running.
Hi Mike, I would just like to say that I have the Galaxy Buds 2 and they do have the 360 audio option, in the earbud settings. I have used it before and the experience is awesome.
I have both the buds 2 and 2pro, The buds 2 only "show" the option for 360 audio but it actually doesn't change the sound quality. You only know the change when you listen to the 360 audio on the 2 pro
@abef896 oh okay didn't know that but it stil sounds insane, personally I think the buds 2 is the best overall with features and sound quality. For the price 😂💪
I were thinking to buy Galaxy Buds 2 pro, but there's the rumors about the 3rd gen, so I don't want to spend my money savings buying the Buds 2 pro and then see how 3rd gen just crush on them. So then Samsung realized Buds FE and I think that it is the greatest option: affordable, a good quality and a little bit of premium feeling. Idk, gonna give it a try while Buds 3 become a reality haha. Thanks a lot for your video.
I have the buds pro, and I got an update not long ago that gave me everything like 360 sound, adjustable anc and amplification, and all the other things you mentioned for the buds pro 2.
I owned Buds+ and used them daily for a little over 3 years, I loved the wing tips and was forced to replace when my wife accidentally washed my pants with them inside. To my surprise the FE had the wing tips and a sale from 99 to 79 at Bestbuy, I said SOLD!!!! they are a solid step up for my casual use case, I don't care for wireless charging as it takes forever from my phone, I charge it once every 2 weeks anyways so losing that feature is not a loss. but damn the ANC helped when I was travelling in a van full of 14 family members and on our flight home. it's a win!
Dude, I've washed my earbuds multiple times and I've had my buds + since they came out and they're still perfect, I lost my right one and my cat kinda bit up my left on so I was either gonna by a replacement right or just upgrade finally, but I'm scared because the buds + are just so damn perfect!!!

They're the best pair of earbuds I've bought so far. I still prefer buds + over my buds 2 pro because they fit me so well and and their battery life is crazy good.
Currently listening on my FEs. Very good all around, but the one major downside is that the guestures are not properly remappable. It is impossible to set them so that you can control volume and toggle transparency with taps at the same time. That is so stupid and annoying that its almost a deal breaker for me. Just let me remap double and tripple tap!
On default, FE sounds horrible but applying some EQ can get them to the better place which it worked for me and I was amazed by the fact that I was able to get amazing sound by this price.
I found the galaxy buds pro 1 to have the best sound quality and best mic quality. The Pro 2 sound a little softer, but maybe it's just a matter of taste. I use them often for calling and have even recorded things myself with them and they are incredibly clear, especially with background noise. They are the most secure in my ear- however, are also the most uncomfortable after a couple hours (maybe it varies from person to person?) The only galaxy buds I haven't owned are the Buds Live and FE.
I own Galaxy Buds FE and previously tried all kinds of Galaxy Buds and I can certainly say they have the very best active noise canceling by a large margin, even better than Buds 2 Pro
I like that this video goes into the specifics of the differences in fit/external design of the various models. The Buds FE seem to have an external design similar to the original Buds, which I already own. My Buds with the right sized wings and ear tips are perfect for working out. They stay in place regardless of how much I sweat. Because of the assumed superior fit, I would purchase the Buds FE, except that they do not come with wireless charging, which I can't live without.
Really missing the "tap earbuds edge" for volume control on the Buds FE. While they stay in my ears better, Samsung took away the ability to control everything. And, having used the Buds 2 Pro for awhile now, I realized how much I rely on Voice Detect.
I have owned all of the buds from the OG pill shape case all the way to the 2Pros, my only complaint with the 2Pros is the materials used, after a year the case and buds feel sticky, like the rubber coating will melt, when I open the case both buds stick on the top of the case, other than that Samsung nailed everything right in features and functionality, S plus for that.
The rubber coating on my 2Pros started feeling sticking and rubbing off just last week, I heard that you can take off the coating but I haven't found a easy way to do that yet
Just bought a pair of the buds 2 pro on amazon for 114$ brand new and I really like them. Only issue I have is I wish they had a better battery life. but at 114$ you really can't beat that value.
I have them too and I find the battery of the buds is pretty good I use them at work at work all the time and they last me the full 8 hours. But the case dies kinda quick so that sucks
I used to own a buds pro till my dog ate 1 bud but they do have voice detect. I recall that kicking in always when someone was talking to me or I started talking
Gave up on the Buds2, they keep slipping out of my ears. Once I even had to dig into some swampy forest-mud to get them back. Strangely enough my favorites until now are the Buds Live. They sit very comfortable and never slip out of my ears and the sound is surprisingly good for non-inears.
Really wish they'd come out with a new version of the Bud Live. The bean shape worked the best for me. I'm still waiting on my Buds Pro 2. I wasn't a fan of the Buds Pro bc they kept falling out no matter what earpiece I tried. Whereas the buds stay put.
I recently got the bud 2 pro in the black friday sale, I not upgraded mine since the galaxy buds + years ago and i always thought these was fantastic, now using these buds 2 pro i must say the anc is brilliant for my type of work and the sound is incredible
I wish there was a video out ther comparing the Galaxy buds plus with the galaxy buds 2 pro. Ive had the buds plus for many years and I absolutely live them. They fit so well that most sounds are blocked out, and they dont even have ANC. The sound and bass on them to me is really really great. The battery is absolutely amazing too. I can go most of the day listening. I recently found a great deal for ablike new pair of the galaxy buds 2 pro's and bought them for only $55. Theyre almost $160 right now and thats the sale price. Im really hoping i love them just qs much as my buds plus (which i will still be using aling side the new ones). Im not sure if i will like the newer ones not having the little wing thing. They do on the buds plus and thats what makes the fit so well and blocks the noise out. Also the buds 2 pro have a significantly shorter battery life. Only 5 hours in comparison to the buds plus at 11 hours. I think since i will be using both it wont be a huge problem for me. I definitely recommend the buds plus, its hard to find them now that theyre discontinued, qnd if you do get them, DONT LOOSE THE TIPS. Theyre impossible to get replacements, at least for the blue ones.
Ive come from the buds + to the buds 2 pro, like you i thought the fit and sound quality and even how they blocked outside sound i thought they was brilliant, i got the buds 2 pro because i unfortunately lost my buds +. However i must say the 2 pros are just as good sound quality if not better, the anc is actually really good however it does impact on battery life. Personally these dont fit quite as well for me, they dont fall out but i felt the buds + fitted that little bit better
@@samgray3053 ya I got the buds pro 2 not long after I first commented and ended up selling them because I hated the fit. The galaxy buds plus are far better to me. They're just great in every way. The galaxy buds FE sorta look familiar to the buds plus with the wing. Maybe those would be something to try and I think they're cheaper too. If not I still see people selling the buds plus. Thinking of buying backups in case mine ever die.
I use iPhone 15 Pro Max and Airpods 2 Pro as my primary device. I've one Samsung that I use for work purposes. I've purchased the Buds FE for only 50$. The build and sound quality is great. Anc is also good enough. Recommended at this budget.
For anyone having a White noise problem with the FE buds while using noise canceling or ambient sound, completely finishing the battery seems to be a quick fix. Bear in mind this is a reccuring issue with these headphones.
@@alucardsantradideus267 I guess it's the air coming thru when the fit not tight, when I adjust it, it becomes perfect. Then doesn't happen anymore. It's really minor I guess it's probably normal. My first day having them haha, they sound really great. But why are you changing your FEs btw?
@@OnionMotu The FE have a problem in the in ear sensor, when using sound cancellation or ambient sound a sound similar to blowing wind appears, just in the left side, it was really annoying, sometimes it got incredibly loud, after reading other reviews of people that got them brand new and git the same issue only for tech support to swap them for new ones I chose to just return them. The Buds2 Pro arrive today, hopefully I don't have any issues
@@alucardsantradideus267 Sounds like the same issue I'm having but it's only when you press on it hard cuz it messes with the sensors I guess, on the FEs did it happen randomly or just when there was pressure applied? Maybe issa Samsung bug But gl hopefully ur pair gon be perfect cuz otherwise the soundquality is really really good.
This was super helpful, thank you. Biggest surprise to me was that ALL of the microphones sounded basically the same listening on my AirPods Pro 2. You’d think they’d separate out some of that hardware or processing based on price point. Can be seen as another positive to the FEs really.
Ive owned most of these. The FE are my favorite. I own 2 pair. I wear them for 10 hours a day. The lack of wireless and touch controls are a downside. But my work is loud and the FE keeps things quiet.
i'm finding it very difficult choosing between the buds 2 and the fe. on the one hand the fe's are cheaper, easier touch controls and more secure fit, on the other hand the buds 2 have wireless charging, are smaller/lighter, have experimental features like double tap edge and arguably slightly better audio quality.
The buds 2 have 360 audio. Just not with head tracking, it was added with a firmware update. The Buds Pro do have the ability to double tap the edge of the earbuds and they also have voice detection.
Bought the FEs on sale for $95 down from $140(Canadian), the value is insanely good compared to the rest of the lineup, the 2 was also on sale, but was still double the price
I had the Buds Live and was pretty happy with them. I lost them somehow and didn't realize it until the batteries were dead and can't track where they are. This video was extremely helpful in helping me decide which model I wanted next, went with the FE and very happy with the fit and sound. Great informative video.
@@Krjollt Honestly there's really not that much of a difference for me between the two. I like how the FEs fit a lot better. That's about the only difference I can really tell.
I bought the buds 2 pro a month ago and have never been more disappointed. It's even worse when you factor in the price. I bought some Jabra Elite 7 Pro for ⅓ the price and they are better in every way.
I have the Buds Live and i love it for a couple of reasons. I always wear them when im working, when im working out(exercise like running and gym) and also when im riding bike. I wear it when riding because its easier to answer any call and i dont have to stop at the side of the road to answer. Also i can listen to podcast or something during long rides and hear all my surrounding very well all the time without the need of transpency mode at all. The way the sit in the ear,i dont have to take it off when im wearing or taking off my helmet. But the mentioned time is when i use Buds Live. I do have the Sony WF1000XM4 too. I use that when im sitting in a place like playing games or watching movie or listening to music. I never use the Buds Live for that because i get better ANC and sound quality with Sony XM4. I do habmve the bigger brother also, the WH1000XM4. I will change between both Sony accordong to my mood. I always bring both the Buds Live and Sony XM4 with me everywhere. So that i have the best earbuds for what im doing.
Been using the Buds Pro since shortly after release. Only reason I chose them over Buds Live was due to the fit. All the specs were pretty comparable, but given that I had an active job, I was concerned the Live would fall out. Also still have my Buds+. Both pairs still work great, just have to fix a charging issue with my Pro case, as it won't charge the buds without being plugged in, even though the case battery holds charge.
@75PERCENTCOPPER I bought them last week. At this stage still no volume control. But the fit & ANC mak it worth waiting for volume control. Best I've used
I decided to get myself a pair of Galaxy Buds FE after having Galaxy Buds+ in my possession for 4 years. And I don't regret choosing it over Pro 2 (which has varying reviews compared to Buds FE). Buds FE outbeats Buds+ in most categories including sound.
I have had Galaxy buds + for at least two years. Maybe longer I don't know exactly when I got them. They are still working great with heavy use. They aren't super comfortable for a long time even with the various size attachments.
The wings do cause some ear fatigue but Buds FE also has flat bands. I actually found myself carrying both pairs of bands around because sometimes I need tighter fit and sometimes I don't.
I've been using the buds live for over 3 years now and love them, I use them because they feel more comfortable for me to not have something to stick into the ears just lay in the ear, but I need an upgrade , what would be the next upgrade for someone like me? Any suggestions? Would love to get help!
I just got the FE set and they fit really well, like my buds+. The worst fitting of the ones I own are the buds pro, they just don't feel secure. As for the sound, I was astounded at the noise cancelling on the FEs, they did great in a heavily crowded area in LA. The bass is much better on both the buds+ and pro. Have not tested the battery life on the FEs yet, but the other 2 last forever and wireless charging is a great feature, lacking on the FE.
I have both the 2 pro and the fe... The fe's are good for what they are, definitely on point with the price but they don't blow me away with the sound quality compared to the 2 pro.
Hey Mike, I think if u record the mic test using the voice recorder app, background noise reduction doesn't work, so it's not a fair comparison for bg noise reduction. BG noise reduction only works during calls
Today, I received my galaxy buds+. Audio was ok in my noisy subway (ANC not required) and it works well with Microsoft Teams in conference calls (I am glad it’s not certified by Microsoft) Fantastic product.
I Just ordered the Galaxy Buds2 Pro in white for $120 after tax, so only $20ish more than the Galaxy Buds FE. I think that is a steal and I only got them because I didn't care for the Beats Studio Buds+'s bass heavy sound. I am going to return the beats if I really like the G-Pros2, so hopefully I made the right decision.
Have a pair of buds pro 2. Owned them for 6 months without any problems untill recently my right bud has become very very quite. I think that the speaker went bad but for paying 200+ dollars for earbuds i expected to have them more than 6 months. I have gone back to using my Jlab go air pop earbuds that i have had for years without any issues. Very disappointed.
I really appreciate the video. I have the buds pro 2 and my husband the buds pro. And one thing i can confirm. The pro 2 is awful for calls. It catches everything around you BUT YOU. And I didn't notice that on the Pro. Curious to test the FE now.
Thank you so much, Mike O'Brien, it was hard for me to choose between the Buds 2 and the Fe since the 2 Pro are a little too overpriced until now, but now I'm really comfortable going with Fe, so again thanks for the comparison.
I just got the galaxy buds live and right in the quick guide it says they have ANC. Also I ordered they from Best buy and right in the ad it states they have active noise canceling. I haven't used them yet but was looking something up and came across your video where you state they don't have ANC. What is going on because your video is very new.
The video doesn't elaborate at all. They are ADVERTISED as having ANC, but...if you actually tested it, you'll find that it is so mediocre to the point it's essentially non-existent. I haven't seen a single person say otherwise yet. This is probably what Mike was alluding to, but should have been more specific about either way.
I have Buds Plus then Buds Live. I really like shape and fit of Buds Live although I would prefer white color one(I bought bronze one). I also like that Buds Live can hear ambient sound very well without having to turn Dare Devil's noise sensor Ambient mode on. I hope that Samsung will make a successor to Buds Live not drop them.
Same here. I love Buds Live. It's a shame that people criticise them for not great ANC, audio quality etc. but people forget that they are in category of its own, they are open ear design so I can wear them at work and still heat everything, I can cycle with them and hear everything and they are so comfortable for me. I hope Samsung will make Buds Live 2 😊
I still have the galaxy buds plus and they have lasted me longer the most of my other Electronics and got to say im a fan of what im hearing about the bud fe because its similar to the bud plus but cant find them anymore
Galaxy buds live 🐐 I run in them frequently, they are great, especially because I can hear just enough of my surroundings to be aware without the robotic sound from a transparency mode
Got the buds 2 pro for 120$. The sound quality is the best (not like consumer grade sound signature where the bass floods into the mids) among other earbuds like the xm5, bose qc ultra an the xm4 which i had used previously. You can watch crinacle's video on why the 2 pros are the best in terms audiophile grade sound.
@@Charlay_CharlayI somewhat agree... The bass could've been a bit tighter. But the soundstage and airiness is better than its current competitors even in the present market. The xm5s are too bassy (they are trying to maintain the similar level of bass throughout all volume levels, which I find too muddying especially in the lower trebble). The Bose qc ultra sound neutral but compact and lacks air. The b2p feel capable of reaching further ends of the sound spectrum which gives it a stage like sound signature. The b2p sound bassier than even the Sony's on some tracks and it feels far more accurate and ranged in the mid bass unlike the powerful but sluggish bass of the xm5s which adds artificial bass to even those songs which aren't bassy.
Thank you for including the buds live. Not many talk about them because there are much better ones out there in terms of sound quality and ANC but their unique design makes them so comfortable to wear all day long at a desk. It's too bad that samsung is not working on improving that model
The Buds+ were so good at passive noise blocking, I always thought if those had anc it's a wrap. They block out more noise than my Buds2 Pro and Airpods Pro 2, the audio quality definitely isn't as good though but I can live with that while on the bus lol My Buds2 Pro probably only gonna be used at home
Damn I was considering upgrading to the 2 pro. I Mainly use it in Gym and occasional flights and wanted the anc feature. Is the fit good the 2pros? Btw I don't use the fins on my buds+.
The Bud+ does well blocking some noise so I agree with u, with proper tips and adjusting in my ears it does take more noise away. I love everyone because everyone hears what sounds great in terms of listening to music, podcasts, binge TV, and video. That is why we have the EQ setting to adjust the sounds to our liking. To sound quality is better than Airpods 2st gen. all comes down to flavor when listening to music i preferred a dancier feeling sound. Now i am either deciding on another earbud or ANC over-the-ear headphone. Samsung FE Bud seems to tick every off plus i prefer wearing earbud because headphone make everything feels heaving and migraines.
Update got the 2 pros as they were cheaper than the FEs with some festive offers in my country. Love them but i understand how ppl find its fit wierd. Hate the stock tips.
Thanks for doing this comparison, really allowed me to pick the best option. For me, having a mediocre transparency mode was a dealbreaker, as I sometimes wear these while I'm working.
EDIT: sorry for the super long comment!! Lol. I meannn, I'm a huge fan of Samsungs phones and earbuds. I have the S23 Ultra paired with the Galaxy Buds Live. I've had the earbuds since they dropped in August of 2020. I got them in the week maybe a few days after they dropped. I upgraded from the original Samsung Earbuds that dropped in 2019 to the Galaxy Earbuds plus that dropped in early 2020. Then I got the Galaxy Buds Live that dropped later in 2020 and I've had them ever since. They still work great. I didn't upgrade from those because they were actually the best fitting and most comfortable for my ears. The sound was and still is the best out of the 3 that I've had and they still work pretty much flawlessly and I do use them a lot. The left earbud seems to be losing its idk, "max power" I guess I could say. It just seems like it's slowly starting to get a little bit more quiet over time. However, I have noticed that occasionally when I wake up in the morning for about an hour or two that my left ear is like, muffled a little bit. So, I'm not sure if it's me or the earbud itself. But anyways, do you think it's worth it to upgrade from the Lives straight to the 3's? Orr should I take the cheaper route and go for the Buds 2 or the Buds FE's and wait for the price on the 3's to drop in a year or two? Idkk. I was kinda hoping to get a new pair very soon, like this week sometime because my Dad needs a new pair and I could give him the Lives. Idkk, idkk what to do..

I think a reason for buds FE winning in so many categories is just the fact that its the newest pair, and technology has improved since back when other models were released, its simply cheaper to include better ANC n water resistance now than it was back then
I own the buds 2 pro buds 1 pro and fe models. Straight away the fe wins imo. The fit of these buds is just way better.
@imeltsnowflakes818 fit is a very subjective matter for discussion, diff ppl have diff ear shape, so fit is not rlly a gd criteria to rank earbuds
FE sound is worse than buds 2. FE has artificial highs and a huge peak around 8 khz. The extra driver (tweeter) in buds2 makes a considerable difference.
The galaxy buds fe fit me better than the other ones. Also, they don't give me ear infections either.

I've had the same pair of Buds 2 for 2 years and wear one at a time almost 24 hours a day.. love them.
But call quality is horrible other person can't hear i am using from a year
I think I'm going to stay with the Pro 2 since the audio quality and a couple of features are better, but I really want to buy the FE to send the signal to Samsung that we love the wingtips and want them to come to the higher-end buds.
I just lost one of my buds 2 pro and I'm so mad I just ordered a paid of the fe
You and me both brother, pro2 got stolen so now going FE
100% agree, wing tips are the best.
I bought both, buds 2 pro so much better. But for just listening to RUclips videos, I use buds FE
Loved the tips on my Buds and Buds+. Was sad when they moved away from that on the newer models.
Just placed my order for the FE thanks to this video. Thanks for taking the time to put together such a well rounded breakdown.
How has it been?
I got pair last night they are great 👍
Do you have to have Wireless charger for that ?
@@SrustiMajhi18 nope
How Was It?🤔
If you could do a Buds+ vs Buds FE that would be amazing. A ton of us still favor the Buds+ for the amazing fit and battery life.
Buds plus worth the buck😂😂
I love that you incorporated the older models! I personally use the Galaxy Buds Pro, and so it makes it very nice when you still use them in the reviews 😅
Buds pro are older but still 200$ 😵
buds pro is also as great as those newer budses LMAO
I'm about to buy them 😅
Buds live for life!! They are on sale now and both two back up!
They are underrated and super comfortable.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that the Galaxy Buds FE are the only earbuds I have ever bought from any brand that will stay in my ears. I bought some for my mom for Christmas and was so blown away by the fit that I immediately went out and got a pair for myself.
Bose soundsport free have wing tips and they won't go anywhere
Just got mine and love the fit too!
Airdots 3 Pro get locked too
The biggest reason I bought my raycons a few years ago was for the fit. They were some of the only ones on the market at the time and I fell in love with the tips
I literally had the same experience & all around the galaxy buds FE are my top pick as well!
Got some buds 2 for 60 bucks on amazon recently since I got a new phone and lost the headphone jack - pretty solid for casual listening on the go without breaking the bank
Same here
If you don't mind my asking, why do you still use wired headphones when you have access to Bluetooth?
14:44 you're wrong about the galaxy buds 2 not having a 360 audio I have a galaxy buds 2 pair and they do have 360 audio and I use it all the time it works perfectly fine.
same for me
Just purchased the FE thanks for making my choice the right one!
And how do they perform? :)
Battery is f amazing frfr
Is not possible to customize them with another android?
I want to buy some buds so are you saying buds 2 pro would be better option?
Did you have a chance to compare it to Buds 2 in terms of sound quality?
I'm consider buying FE BUT I am concerned with the comfortability, anyone used them for long and can tell me if they are comfortable especially for gym?
I have the buds live. They work the greatest for me as far as fit. The others fall out of my ears constantly. And i also like to hear my surroundings. They work great in warehouse surroundings. Also the battery life is great.
Same here. Any earbuds that are "mushroom" shaped do not stay in my ear will always fall out. I bought the buds live on the hope that they will fit better and they fit significantly better than any other ear buds I've had.
15:23 The Galaxy Buds Pro does have double tap edge and voice detect features.
Just had my first workout with the buds 2 , they were amazing
The original galaxy buds are my favorite headphones I've ever owned, I've had my pair since 2019 and I bought them used. They've performed perfectly throughout the entire time I've owned them, even after losing one bud in the school cafeteria and having to dumpster dive and rip through 3 trash bags to find them (the find my earbuds feature is a lifesaver), after leaving them in rice for a few days they were back to perfect again without a hitch. They're also super easy to clean and the sound quality is very good as well. Very happy to see a similar design and price range for the new FE's, and I will definitely be purchasing a pair for myself
Edit: thank you for the review by the way, very useful comparison 🙏
Samsung galaxy buds original ❤❤
I am about to buy Buds 2 and heard that they fall out when you are doing some exercises, like running, have u ever faced smth like that?
@@tsarvarr Yes it is an issue so consider that. I dont do exercises😅 But yeah it doesn't fit my ears well but i mostly dont do sudden moves so it doesn't fall. Also it isn't much comfortable.
@@berkhimself thank u very much
Try adjusting the equalizer for more bass.
I have both the buds 2 and 2pro,
The buds 2 only "show" the option for 360 audio but it actually doesn't change the sound quality.
You only know the change when you listen to the 360 audio on the 2 pro
@abef896 oh okay didn't know that but it stil sounds insane, personally I think the buds 2 is the best overall with features and sound quality. For the price 😂💪
@@spurkakhuis4596how do you turn it on
Got FE today, and I love it!😊
I were thinking to buy Galaxy Buds 2 pro, but there's the rumors about the 3rd gen, so I don't want to spend my money savings buying the Buds 2 pro and then see how 3rd gen just crush on them.
To my surprise the FE had the wing tips and a sale from 99 to 79 at Bestbuy, I said SOLD!!!!
they are a solid step up for my casual use case, I don't care for wireless charging as it takes forever from my phone, I charge it once every 2 weeks anyways so losing that feature is not a loss.
but damn the ANC helped when I was travelling in a van full of 14 family members and on our flight home. it's a win!
Dude, I've washed my earbuds multiple times and I've had my buds + since they came out and they're still perfect, I lost my right one and my cat kinda bit up my left on so I was either gonna by a replacement right or just upgrade finally, but I'm scared because the buds + are just so damn perfect!!!

did you run the transcript through chatgpt or some shit lmao I ain't reading allat imma just watch the video
@@spike5499 😂
Isn't that the Galaxy bud FE that doesn't have wireless charging ?
@spike5499 Saving effort vs saving time. Lol
The Buds2 Pro DO have wireless charging case. Don't spread information that is NOT accurate because it might deter someone from buying
I wish they kept around the buds plus design. They are my favorite earbuds!
They're the best pair of earbuds I've bought so far. I still prefer buds + over my buds 2 pro because they fit me so well and and their battery life is crazy good.
The galaxy buds pro do have voice detect and double tap for volume increase
Currently listening on my FEs. Very good all around, but the one major downside is that the guestures are not properly remappable. It is impossible to set them so that you can control volume and toggle transparency with taps at the same time. That is so stupid and annoying that its almost a deal breaker for me. Just let me remap double and tripple tap!
On default, FE sounds horrible but applying some EQ can get them to the better place which it worked for me and I was amazed by the fact that I was able to get amazing sound by this price.
What are the EQ settings you used? I am no audiophile, so i don't know anything about frequencies and what not.
Still using Buds +. Still going strong plus the wing tips are great. The FE would be my choice to replace tgem if they die
I'm trying to figure out weather to get a new right bud for my buds + I've had for years or just get the fe. What should we do!?
Because dude, I've washed these things multiple times and dropped them like crazy, and they're still perfect
How would you rate the sound quality between these two, which is better for music listening?
I have owned all of the buds from the OG pill shape case all the way to the 2Pros, my only complaint with the 2Pros is the materials used, after a year the case and buds feel sticky, like the rubber coating will melt, when I open the case both buds stick on the top of the case, other than that Samsung nailed everything right in features and functionality, S plus for that.
The rubber coating on my 2Pros started feeling sticking and rubbing off just last week, I heard that you can take off the coating but I haven't found a easy way to do that yet
Best Buds2 Pro are the whites, they don't have that rubber coat.
OMG Can you read my mind!? I was confused between buds2, pro and fe and I was literally going to pick one on a whim this Saturday! Thanks man!!❤
Which one did you go with?
Which one you will pik
I brought the Galaxy Buds FE last week and I love it worth the money and quality is dope.
Hi bro with the anc off on the Galaxy Buds fe how long do they last?
@@Gladwin9225-30 hours
The Live have awful SQ.
@@PayneWewton No they don't if fitted correctly. I'll admit that my ear-shape is somewhat uncommon, so that might help.
Does anyone have it with the buds 2 pro?
Just minor on only left one?
@@OnionMotu I better not, I just bought those hoping it wouldn't happen, how long have you had them?
Maybe issa Samsung bug
But gl hopefully ur pair gon be perfect cuz otherwise the soundquality is really really good.
Just a correction. The galaxy Buds 2 recieved the 360 áudio by further updates. I use them and checked
This was super helpful, thank you.
Biggest surprise to me was that ALL of the microphones sounded basically the same listening on my AirPods Pro 2.
You’d think they’d separate out some of that hardware or processing based on price point. Can be seen as another positive to the FEs really.
Cheaper to just use the same mic in all of them
14:43 I've been using the galaxy buds 2 for two years and after several updates it can do 360 audio
Have to replace my Buds+, seems like the FE version is the best for me. Thanks for the video.
The Galaxy Buds Pro (2021) do have Voice Detect - 15:24
Is it better than the live one?
Just saw your video and decided to go with FE :)
The buds+ didn't come with the double touch edge volume control until a later update. So hopefully the same happens for the fe.
I think you just helped me to pick weather to get another spare right buds + or the fe, I like my volume controls...
@75PERCENTCOPPER I bought them last week. At this stage still no volume control. But the fit & ANC mak it worth waiting for volume control. Best I've used
The Buds 2 Pro are my daily drivers and the best Samsung earbuds i have ever owned.😊
I've been using the Buds Pro since they launched and they're still perfect! Samsung did a great job.
Insanely informative and comprehensive comparison and breakdowns. Thanks for taking the time.
If the buds 2 pro had the design and fit of the fe and the case of the buds+ it would be perfect…for me
I agree!
The buds fe have the best passive noise cancelling which really helps the anc.
Why no one talks about the Buds +. Those are the best fitting in my opinion
Got the FE. Thanks for the research and review. ❤
How is the quality? Cause I am planning to place an order right now?😂
@himani2504 is absolutely awesome. You'll love it!
Can’t you just update them on your pc if your using them on iPhone?
I can't freely customize the tap settings for the buds fe. Hopefully they change that in the next update
Very disappointed.
yess, i made the right choice by buying buds fe, its an all rounder compare to others, and most important i get it only for 44$!!
I really appreciate the video. I have the buds pro 2 and my husband the buds pro. And one thing i can confirm. The pro 2 is awful for calls. It catches everything around you BUT YOU. And I didn't notice that on the Pro. Curious to test the FE now.
Was supposed to buy the buds fe but the buds 2 where i’m from were on sale for 50$. That was really hard to pass up.
Thanks for including the Live
Thank you so much, Mike O'Brien, it was hard for me to choose between the Buds 2 and the Fe since the 2 Pro are a little too overpriced until now, but now I'm really comfortable going with Fe, so again thanks for the comparison.
3:00 white noise is due to fans/wind in the background.
The main thing that makes the galaxy buds 2 pro so comfortable to wear for a longer period of time are definitely the air vents in those things
Is someone jogging with the buds 2 pro and can tell me if they sit well?
I bought buds 2 pro and change it next day for buds 2 because are the most comfortable buds ever.
My favorite and most comfortable buds by a country mile. Hope they make a V2.
Not enough bass...and they don't last. I'm on my second left buds and the right went out a few days ago.
Tysm for this video, I needed this.
They block out more noise than my Buds2 Pro and Airpods Pro 2, the audio quality definitely isn't as good though but I can live with that while on the bus lol
My Buds2 Pro probably only gonna be used at home
Damn I was considering upgrading to the 2 pro. I Mainly use it in Gym and occasional flights and wanted the anc feature. Is the fit good the 2pros? Btw I don't use the fins on my buds+.
Really like my buds plus but TSA at the Vegas Airport lost mine last year
Did you find anything similar to the buds plus for passive noise blocking?
What is yall opinion about the galaxy buds +? Is a switch to the nothing ear 2 sensible?
