Hello friend) I'm from Russia. This game is not popular with us and therefore there is very little information about it. Thank you for shooting interesting content. I would like to ask you (or your subscribers) to tell us about the initial builds (for the first passage of the game). There are many builds for re-passing, but there is no information on the first one (Who is easier to pass the game for the first time? so that the build includes items immediately available in the game, and not only after its completion. Thank you )
You have a very valid point. I can work on making a build for the beginning game but here is some info to get started. Blue sand armor = blacksmith in Cierzo Bow = can be used with no skills Cleaver Halberd = Kill the bandit "chief" in the bandit camp above Cierzo This small starting setup will get you pretty far since the armor is pretty defensive and the halberd has a lot of knockback. Hope this was helpful!
Thank you! Outward has so much more to it than people initially realize and if you really delve into the content you will experience some pretty epic stuff.
@@SheenShots I'm really impressed with the game. Of course the mechanics aren't perfect and the graphics aren't perfect either, but my god this game has a soul. moreover it was created by people from my city! the studio is less than 20 minutes from my house. in short, your videos really help me, I'm on my first run. I had never played before and decided to dive into it with the definitive edition. continue your excellent videos you are the reference in the matter for me.
Hey SheenShots, awesome guide as always. I finished the game recently with a build with runic tree and warrior monk tree relatively easy. I tried 2 of those hidden dungeon and got absolutely destroyed. Any advice on how to improve/prepare for those fights?
Yes actually. These bosses are quite interesting. They aren't your average enemy in a video game. They are made to be impossible unless you use the correct equipment. For example, the trog queen arena does quite a bit a decay damage. So if you enter as your typical mage with some but not a lot of decay resistance you are doomed. My advise is collect all the gear you can find and switch to different items for each boss. The brand squire would be nice to have a shield for, whereas the mantis shrimp boss needs max lightning resistance. Some armors make certain bosses really easy, while those armors will get you wrecked in the first 30 seconds for other bosses. I would like to cover some of the best set ups for each boss eventually, but for now my best tip is preparation. If you think you did enough you are just getting started.
@@SheenShots oh wow! First of all I would like to thank you for the complete and very exhaustive answer you gave me. I approached this game like a any similar game and tought to reach a build where I was strong in general but now I understand that any major boss require preparation and the right equipment for that fight. I was trying to understand why my end game build was so weak in those dungeons but now I see that this game has no end game build, it has some very strong build that works with the most common enemies but every major one require some change and preparation. Thank you very much sir, I will try very soon and one day I will conquer all hidden dungeons :) Keep up the good work, love your channel!
Not all bosses are optional as some will be found throughout quests. However most of them are. In fact there may be under 5 total bosses that you will be forced to go up against. The rest are hidden behind these secret arenas which lets you really prepare for them. But there are tons of bosses. One Mini-boss per cave as I like to call them, and then these arena ones as well as liches I consider the actual bosses.
It is not that big of a deal. I really prefer the other as it is more powerful, but switching off hand weapons constantly gets old fast. Maybe choose the other next time to see the difference you feel with it, but its not a complete waste of a passive.
What's the build you used to fight Brand Squire? I love the Tsar Armor (if that's the armor used) along with the Rune 2-Hand Etheral Sword combo. Any way you could link a build so I could follow the steps to make it? Thanks in adavance!
I will give you the basic info since I was kind of messing around with a few things in that video. Tsar armor set Great runic sword Cabal Hermit skill tree Rune Sage skill tree Warrior Monk for master of motion defense The build offers insane defense if all boons and runic protection are cast. Only problem is great runic sword has zero knockback so you get hit quite a bit. Other than than it is pretty great. Another sword might be better but not sure which one.
@@SheenShots Thank you so much! And yeah I figured you'd get hit a lot since the runic blade has very little impact when compared to other swords like Zagis Saw & Tsar Claymore.
Can you maybe do some more build videos? Every time I make a build it always does 70-90 damage. My favourite build I’ve made was with the thrice wrought hailbird, it’s not a good build it has horrible resistances and 58 frost damage with 22 fire but god it’s so fun to play.
One way to preserve food is kinda cheating, but still. Have a second controller, use a second account, put the food on him, close split, open split when you need the food. Can also use a friend and close split when moving between areas.
@@blur9345 No worries! We played split screen until we both got the game on PC. Great experience. I would like to record a playthrough with him actually.
None of these bosses are accessible until you beat the main faction quest on that character. This is the most common reason why it won't work, but you may need to check the requirements as well. It can be easy to forget them.
Do make sure you have beaten your faction quest first. None of the region bosses can be taken on unless your faction quest is finished. That's the only thing I can think of really.
They drop unique ingredients. These can then be combined to create unique weapons. Each boss will drop one or two ingredients and then you mash them together to see what you can make. Or look It up lol.
The fact that 1.7% of the playerbase has killed a single arena boss is very problematic. Game isn't good enough to hide obscure bosses like this and expect players to find and/or kill them. Ntm solo scaling is ridiculous. Great game, super rough around the edges.
The arena bosses are I think a pretty cool aspect. Just something extra you might stumble upon or happen to find out about. They are somewhat pointless however which is their real problem. No amazing rewards and each one can basically be made easy by becoming immune to the right element.
@@SheenShots They definitely are a good part of the game, they are just implemented poorly imo. I think people should be pushed to do them more, either by rewards or just by in-game systems telling them that they exist and how to summon them.
5 playthroughs and i still didn't know about this, great video man !
The concealed knight carries 4-5 Golden Mechanisms. I think they were here to fight the Elite Mantis boss
Good point. Never even thought about that make it makes so much sense.

1:00 or I can use my split screen to hold the meat and log them back in later
Fighting the elite mantis shrimp with a full gold lich set plus additional lightning resist from other sources will remind you of spongebob vs flats
When you think Troglodyte you don't think.
"One of the Hardest fights in game"
A Mistake we had and pay the Price we did.
The most gank fight I have ever seen lol. Plus decay is brutal in that arena.

Grab the totems. You don't need to use them, but they can block the lightning balls which is really nice for that fight. Might help you out.
Never saw that monsters before. :O

@SheenShots Do you think I messed up by taking Internalized Lexicon? I see you switch from books to shield.
