It is an april fools collaboration between the devs from EaW and the devs from the stellaris mod Gigastructural Engineering, the nation is the kingdom of abyssinia, you play as Kaiser Kattail, who has just arrived from another reality and attempts to take over the world utilizing his knowledge of mechanized warfare and megastructures to give his empire a gigantic edge.
(for his focus tree to show up, you have to enable it at the game rules menu at the bottom)
This helped me not be scared anymore from my nightmare because of how silly it is.

A new suggestion. Stakuyi, if you like video game politics, *Frostpunk 2* is coming out next month, and it’s looking like it’s shaping up to be a really good game. In preparation, this is *day 2* of asking you to play the original *Frostpunk* , a game about morals, deus vult, and child labour, set in the icy apocalypse.
Ah, I’m stupid, it’s two months from now, not next month.
About crete- i found out you can use cheap paratroopers to get their territory when they go to war with bulgaria. At this pointy you should get the focus which makes you greek so whenever you capture some land you can produce units and gradually takie over mainland greece. That's what i had done
I once had a game where I played as the AUS, Cuba joined my faction, and kept on declaring war on people and dragging me into wars on the others side of the world.

Hi Stakuyi, I wanted to let you know that I found your channel recently and have fallen in love with your content and I have zero idea how to play HOI4 lol. I play more of the 4x genre like Civ. Anyways, I have been randomly watching videos throughout your catalog and I just wanted to thank you for all the entertainment while I heal from destroying my hand recently!
I know, it's random offtopic, but since here you covered Cuba, is there any chance that you can do Confederate States in Victoria 3 by... running away? Like avoid war with USA at any cost. Play normal US game with normal priorities until CSA forms to make sure that you don't sabotage the Union. And then go with "Golden Circle" proposal aka go for Mexico, Cuba, etc. while fixing the issues that killed CSA aka slavery(yes, it was about slavery, but as long as it remains, CSA can't recruit enough people to win any war PLUS it stops getting popular support from Britain and France), cotton dependency(refusal to switch from profitable cotton to grain needed to feed troops was a major factor too, however having BOTH no industry AND no cash would be brutal) and try to do "my own US, with blackjack and cotton". Bonus points if you'll be able to run away far enough to revive Gran Columbia ie form Central States of America.
Hopefully that word salald is 1)readable; 2)not too insulting to US citizens, who know and care about their history more then I do😅

if we are talking like historical pirates syndicalism is actually not that bad a fit. see pirate ships (mostly) were owned by the crew they selected their captains through a democratic election and could democratically remove them at any time.... except in a battle. The captain was given an extra share of the loot because it was recognized that they did do more work, planning raids leading battles etc. (same for surgeons and carpenters btw, they got an extra half a share, but that's because it was highly skilled work most pirates couldn't do). I think this isn't too far off of the union structures that syndicalism is built on, communal ownership of the company through the union etc.
I do like the radical socialist coucil though. fits like the Tortuga council of captains.
