Finding and fixing a problem with the smoke unit in a Taigen M26 Pershing 1/16 scale RC tank. This problem could also happen in Heng Long tanks or any RC tank that uses the same smoke unit.
I wish that you would've spoken but that's okay… I really enjoyed your video and here to say woo hoo! I'm glad you got everything working and thank you for sharing . Stay well…
Hi Jeff, sorry for not replying my bad. Glad that you liked the video and keep an eye out for my next one on converting a panther from 27Mhz to 2.4Ghz and all the problems that I come across.
That packed up on one of mine within days of receiving it from Nitrotek, who weren't interested in helping me. I bought a replacement elsewhere and then decided that I couldn't stand the noise of it anyway. Those "piston" types are awful, unfortunately the excellent G.I. smokers are too expensive for me, so my tanks run without smoke. Great vid and channel.
Thank you for your kind offer. I have a new project that I could really use a smoke unit on. Please mail me at kevcrookes.com and I will give you my address.
Taigen Tanks are Ok,, but customer service is for shit. I retrofitted all my tanks with the 25mm fan trick, which can be seen on my channel. I've had much better luck & performance out of Heng Long tanks TBH.
Thanks, I was able to fix my sons brand new tank and get the smoke working because of this video. much appreciated

Hi angow, thank you for the great comment. Much appreciated :)
Thank for solution
This is a very common problem on rc tanks, those smoke units are always failing to the point where a lot of people just end up making their own.
I have a working smoke unit, you are more than welcome to have it should you need it
Thank you for your kind offer.
