As a Delta customer I hope my main route will continue with the 737 family. My 2 favorite planes are the 737 and A330. This according to how my body feels after a flight. The A320 family and 767 always makes me feel more fatigued. Don’t ask me why. Both great planes. The 757 is ok but to me it’s just a 737 that takes too long to load and unload for the same flight. I would love to fly a 747 before it’s too late. Time is not on my side
Your statement of Delta's "long commitment" is incorrect. This order was only placed in 2022 when they likely received a huge discount on the orders (typical Delta going after good deals for aircraft). They have repeatedly stated while they soft planned for it in it's fleet plan it's not committed in any schedule due to the uncertain timelines with certification.
Do you actually play back what you record before putting it out? Your report on Madagascar, passengers will be able to leverage the Emirates hub to destinations in Australia, Asia, Europe, and North America, and so much more. How many more places are left? South America, yes, Africa, not so much.
I truly don’t get why delta is getting the max when the max and their 321NEOs have seating capacities and range. I get the fact that they have a sizable 737 crews…but how much would it take to train them to Airbus…?
Not having all their eggs in one basket and not to mention that they also have over 170 737-900's that are an average age of less than 10 years old, it will be interesting to see how Delta replace their Airbus A319/320's, Boeing 717's and737-800's, 717s/319's will probably be replaced by A220's, the A320's and 737-800's will be interesting one
To get 100 A320 family aircraft right now you would have to wait for probably 10 years and re train a bunch of crews. The MAX will require minimal training and fit right in to increase capacity on routes that are already served by the 737-900s.
How surprising the 757 in the Delta segment is a former TWA aircraft; I saw one of them at DTW last week. Very rare.
They aren't that rare, Delta have about 15 ex TWA 757's
Was on one Tuesday
Great tosee the 747 back
05:22 nice shot! One can really understand the speed of the aircraft at this position of view.
Looking forward to seeing the 747 in Emirates livery again 😁👍
They will probably white tails
Thanks for this news Dj!!
I'm almost certain that Fedex will probably be buying most of Delta's retired 757s 💯💯💯💯💯
Fun fact: if you see a delta 757 with no winglets, it’s in the charter config and most likely a charter a flight
Last month I flew on a 33 year old Delta A320 from DEN-LAX
I hope Boeing gets back to the top like they were. Start making the 747 again. But my personal favorite, the 777, is a great freighter.
great to see more of the gorgeous 747-400’s being brought back to life…..can’t wait to see the 777-9F freighter and 777-9 certified❤❤
Great Video And Info
Can you make a Video over the 40 new Boeing 737 Maxes for Eurowings

They can get both 321neos and max10 faster than just 321neos alone. That would be the case if boeing was able to make the max10s

With a fleet that big the cost of mixed types aren’t that big. And by having multiple types you have the optimal aircraft for each route.

Bye bye Delta 757 and 767
Although some 757s are being retired, the rest will be hanging around at least until the delivery of the first 737MAX 10s sometime in 2027.
I'm pretty sure that the A320s in Delta's fleet are on their way out as well
@@jedgar63Fedex will probably take Delta's ex 757s as well 💯💯
Who thinks that the 747 shall return????
Nope. 2 engines can do the same work as 4 , cheaper.
I do. If the demand is high enough Emirates will do it
it wont come back
The biggest problem is that Spirit and Boeing no longer have the tooling setup to build the 747. The 747 assembly line is no longer in operation.
@@reubenmorris487 there not building more....
Too much about Emirates
Booooring
