Hummingbird Tongue in insane detail

Wonders of nature: hummingbird in our garden this morning. High speed camera at 1000 frames per second. The tongue moves in an out 20 times per second in reality - note it is bifurcated simply amazing. Taken with Chronos HD 2.1 and Nikon 105mm Macro
