I am a gamer. I also dated a girl who was actually addicted. She played 20 hours a day, refused to get a job, and had chronic migraines and back problems due to it. She couldn't keep a romantic relationship and treated her family like shit and snapped at anyone if they tried to get her to do anything else (she was 28 at the time). So yeah addiction is absolutely real.

My brother and I are hard core gamers, like falling asleep with ur controller in ur hands gamers, so when my mother put all the games in different places we like panicked when farcry was not in its area we flipped our entire room into oblivion searching for it and even interrogated eachother to the point of tears only to see that it was in the DVD closet in the living room.
