      (2)互联网时代的 8年,好像真的变成了两代。

    老實說,我反而覺得00年輕一代更固執不通,具體的名詞已經忘了,但大概的意思是大數據會不斷推送你感興趣的內容,你也會在網絡上找到與你觀點相同的人,極少甚至接觸不到其他人的想法,久而久之就會變成以為自己的觀點是共識,遇到不一樣的觀點時會拼盡全力攻擊對方--這點我實在深有體會,幾乎遇到有激烈觀點無法互相理解的,大多都是比較年輕的

    Can definitely tell she is your sister as you two have a very similar face shapes and features. In Hong Kong, we would property say you two are biscuits from the same mole.
    I am a native Hong Kong people and had been living in the US for 5 years. As a result, I can use both Cantonese and English very well.

    I agree Caroline's opinion that it's easier for people to find others with common values now.
    Some may say that this magnifies the selection bias in people.
    But I think on the other hand, it allows more people to find a group where they feel at home.

    When British people say no, especially when they extend the tone, like your sis said at 1:37 in this video, the intonation covers almost all four tones of Chinese word pronunciation. Every time when I heard it I felt funny. In US, I rarely hear people say no in that way.

    Caroline is 19. in 2012 (9 years ago) when she was 12 visited Susie in China. She should be 10 year old when she went to China if it was 2012 and her current age of 19 are correct.

    There're many small towns that are worth visiting. I distaste big cities, particularly Shanghai and Beijing for bad air and water quality there. I have been in London and I feel not very good about it.

    I was wondering why the little sister used “were” when she was mentioned those Chinese cities, she said they were big. I understand that she was mentioned her trip to China in the past, but the cities are still big. No I was wondering why she did not say they are big cities.

    Very interesting! I also feel that the folks born after 2000 and us (born in the 90s) had many differences. My youngest cousin was born in 2002, and I feel he is from a different "planet."
    Also, I simply do not get why people use Snapchat. It is like people send you something and then disappear. What's the point?
    But I have to say, there are many great British shows, like "Game of Thrones," "Sherlock," "The Great British Baker."

    People around me ( all gen z) use WhatsApp and Instagram instead of Snapchat. I know some Canadian, Brit friends have Snapchat accounts but they don’t use it that much! And it’s not like you gotta reply everything ASAP ( to be friends) imo I sometimes reply my friends after a few months and yeh we are still great friends:)

    Without substitutes I could only understand 20-30% of what you’ve talked I this video. Most of your videos I could understand 80-90% of what you’ve said.

    訊息不能不回....k.... Caroline you need to know, you are still young so you can reply all the messages immediately, but when you grow up, you'll find that you have loads of things to do so you won't have time to reply all the messages. That's why. People in my age have to choose which one should reply first, and if we have time we'll reply the rest later.

    提一个小的建议,我发现中文字幕总是会挡住英文字幕,能否制作时让两种字幕不要重合?因为说话很快,我看不到英文字幕就不能更好的学习。谢谢。
