Thank you for sharing! I absolutely love your videos & find that they help me so much! When i first found you on RUclips i was so happy about it.. Your voice & personality is just so contagious & i find myself always looking for your videos on RUclips & IG! Your videos have really helped me in my nail journey & I’ve been watching a few here recently on “Builder Gel over natural short nails” because i have such shorties 😂 - i love how you’re just so real & please never stop making videos! I look forward to your content all the time! .. I do have a question, each time you’re wiping around your nail with the brush i know you mentioned your wiping with something but i couldn’t remember i believe you said it was alcohol or acetone? My question is each time you are wiping around your nail after applying the builder gel do you dip your brush in the “said liquid you use” every time, then wipe around your nail? Much love, Jess ❤
Omg thank you so much for all the kind words Jessica!! I truly appreciate them!! I’m so glad to hear my videos have helped you!!! You should use a little pure acetone on the brush to go around your skin before curing. I have to use alcohol now because I’m allergic to acetone 😭 but acetone is the best choice!
I can help you!! Yes you need a dehydrator and primer. The dehydrator is to dehydrate and clean your nails and the primer leaves a sticky residue so that the gel has something to adhere to.

I just bought the modelones 7 in 1 builder gel in clear. Now I’ve just realized that I’m not sure if I can use my regular colour gel over the builder gel 🥹 in the manual it says it’s also a base but I’m not sure… please help
You absolutely can apply color gels over builder gel! I’ve worn gels over builder gel a bunch of times! You can do gels over it or dip powder nails over it too! I have a huge builder gel guide of over 45 pages of detailed instructions from prep to application to removal if you want more help on it! stan.store/nicolesbeautyscene/p/get-my-builder-gel-101-guide-now
Hi! Personally I do a combination of them. I use builder gel as a base on my natural nails then dip over that. This way, I can do fills of the builder gel instead of soaking off my manis in acetone. I haven’t used acetone in over 3 years! You can efile the dip mani off or use peel base in between the builder gel and dip manis. Also making sure you use cuticle oil a few times a day will majorly help your natural nails grow!
Hi! When using builder gel or any kind of gels- you need to use a UV/LED lamp to cure the gel. Gel will not cure without a lamp. Should be at least 48 watts, 365-405 nm, at least 30 bulbs and have a reflective bottom to fully cure the gel.
Not a stupid question at all!! A gel allergy is when you’re allergic to something in the gels. It typically presents as red or swollen or itchy cuticles. Could be little bumps on your fingers around your nails as well. Continued use of gel when you’re allergic can lead to your nails falling off. Happy to answer questions anytime!!

Hello, so which is better for building natural nail strength? Dip or builder gel

So Do I Use The UVA Lamp Or Let Them Air Dry Or Use A Very Small Fan To Dry?
