I'm currently using BPC-157 on a scheduled 2 week cycle, injecting 0.2ml subcutaneously every night to help treat disc degradation I currently have in my upper cervical spine (confirmed from an MRI). I cant advise in your case if you should use peptides to try and avoid surgery as I would need to do my own workup on you to know. If you decide to go through with surgery then those two peptides may help you in your healing.
I just came across peptides, no one ever mentioned them before and I've had ever type of injection procedure on my neck to fight cervical dystonia. I know there is no way to know how this will help combat that condition but inflammation is insane on the right side of my neck scm is pulling tight, could be spinal accessory nerve injury that can't be properly diagnosed but I was hoping to reduce the pain.
I'm terribly sorry to hear that. We have seen more acute pain reduction in patients taking thymosin beta 4. Can't say if that will help you or not though
I have a partially torn ACL and torn meniscus…. I’ve been taking TB4 and I honestly can say that my knee feels more stable than ever since I had the injury. Not sure if it’s a placebo thing but it definitely feels more stable.
@@DrewTimmermansND I haven’t fully tested it yet but I definitely feel the improvement just from the basic movements I’ve been making. I’ve been able to jump without pain and even some jumping jacks Hoping for the best 🙏🏼
@@SteelShirt99 I injected in my leg close to my knee but you can inject in your glute. It doesn’t hurt. You use a small insulin needle. It’s tiny. You barely feel it.
I'm 12 weeks post double open femur fracture and 5 weeks post bone graph (doner femur marrow and stem cells, plus cadaver bone). I plan to take BPC 157 arginate and tb-4 fragment to help with inflammation, ROM in my knee, scar tissue, and muscle regrowth. Is the tb-4 fragment okay to use in regard to my bone graph?
Bpc 157 has quickly helped with inflammation for me, I’ve just started a few days ago and I can feel it go down in my back so much. It’s always so inflamed I can’t even twist all the way or pop my back and I already can about 50% more than I could. Not fully but I’m only a week in. I’m taking it for other benefits but this is the first thing I’ve noticed so far and an unexpected bonus.
One other question: How are you stretching one vial for 20 days? I've read all over the place that these two peptides only last for 7-14 days once reconstituted?
Hi Drew, What's your opinion / experience if any with TB4 in regards to healing heart damage from mycordatis or similar conditions affecting the heart. I've read some studies which seem to indicate a positive effect in repairing damage after a heart attack but I'd like to collect a wide array of information before making any decisions on treatment. Thank you
Is tb4 safe for the heart ? As I was diagnosed with pericarditis inflammation around the heart and nothing helping me to heal now I’m looking into tb4 thanks
Very informative video doc, i tore my patella tendon in my left knee last year in may, i can do pretty much everything again but it just doesnt feel the same as my right leg, it is also smaller and less strong then my right leg. I'm sorry to hear that. I don't make in depth personal recommendations on social media, as that's what I do during appointments with my patients. Thymosin beta 4 is sometimes helpful for nerve issues. To be honest, what we find that works the absolute best for most people is nerve hydrodissection in our office with platelet rich plasma or another orthobiologic substance. Other things you should think about: 1. Vitamin C 1-3g per day 2. Quinton hypertonic sea minerals 10mL twice per day (electrolytes are crazy important for nerve health) 3. Mobility programming from The Ready State (Google them) 4. Lymphatic work from Dr. Perry Nickelston (Google him too, Stop Chasing Pain). If you're in the US you can get the supplements from here - us.fullscript.com/welcome/rp

Wish to know a physcian who could prescribe it but since I live in a country where most of them are not interested in health and just in making money on sick ppl I guess there will never be a chance.
I believe if you watch the video, you will see general dosages discussed. Unless the pharmacy compounds the TB500 with the BPC-157, we generally don't recommend to mix
Doc, thank you for your excellent videos. I have learned a lot over the last few days of watching. I was recently diagnosed via MRI as bone on bone in my hip. What do you know if anything about BPC, TB4, MK-677 as a stack to try to repair that level of damage. I am currently taking 3 grams of Vitamin C, 20 grams of collagen, Bio-Sil silica, and Baxyl HA. Thank you in advance.
Instead of mk sermoraline is better if really feel you need it MK 677 can over stimulate your brain with grelinn secretion and its not good. Sermoralin wayyyy cleaner and effective. Tb500 1x a day and bpc 1-3 times a day work wonders
Rn I'm taking bpc 157 1x a day and tb500 2.5 2x a day but my tolerance level is high and it works well I'm not a doctor this is not health advice this is entertainment purposes only don't sue me
Sermorelin is actually not that great of a GH secretagoge, to the point that almost no one who attends medical conferences on peptides even lectures about it anymore. CJC1295 and ipamorelin is a much better combo when dosed appropriately
@@DrewTimmermansND appreciate the advice I know no side affects with sermoralin though are there any side effects with what you gave? (Not trying to sound smart just asking)
Just had metacarpal surgery and ran 10 MG of TB-4 with the 1.5mg/day protocol. Do you usually have patients cycle off now or run 750 mcg till they’re healed?
I read research that shows tb-500 half life to be very small, near the end of the video you mention front loading tb 500 for post procedure, does the short half life matter in the context of healing?
For clarification, my discussion was on thymosin beta 4 (which is not the same as tb500). I haven't seen any research suggesting that the short half life is detrimental and that things should be adjusted because of that.
theres the half-life and then the physiological half-lif. Even after it leaves your body, other cascades have already been put in motion. A short half life isn't always "bad".
our dosing strategy is a little different for TB500. We currently have 2 tiers depending on severity of the condition and the timing. We will either do 3mg of TB500 per week (daily dosing, so approx 430mcg per day) or 5mg per week (so approx 715mcg per day).
If you check out my other videos on peptides you'll learn the basics. I can't give you personalized medical advice unless you were a patient of mine. But the information is out there
Mentiined intraoperative dose and mixing with other peptides. Sorta confused. 0.250mcg with intraoperative AND mixing or "also if" mixing? Tb4 with bpc 157....0.250mcgs then or still .750mcg a day?
regenerativeperformance.com/supplements InfiniWell through this link for BPC-157 oral. Injectable should be going through a compounding pharmacy which requires you to work with a doctor
Are you sleeping 8+ hours per day? Are you exercising daily? Do you drink 60-100oz of mineral rich water per day? If you snore have you been evaluated for sleep apnea? Have you reduced your seed oil consumption by >90%? Do you eat enough protein (1g/kg minimum)? These are the things you should do before spending money on peptides. Dial in the foundations like you're being paid to do so.
@@DrewTimmermansND yea you’re right. I do most of those things but also have the type 1 diabetes issue for 38 years. Always been an athlete but probably need to dial everything in better. Thanks doc!
Hi doc, I’ve watched about 20 of your videos in a row now and man do I wish you were in london😂. There seems to be no way of getting Tb4 in london from a reputable place, what do you think about using TB500 with BPC 157 post PRP or bpc and GH. I’m skeptical about using tb500 as you mentioned that it’s a strong anti inflammatory and I feel that would undo what the PRP is trying to achieve. Love the videos and a reply would be greatly appreciated
Tb500 won't undo the PRP, it will be synergistic. Tb500 is released after injuries to help improve healing and reduce scar tissue formation. It's not an anti-inflammatory! We use BPC-157 and tb500 very frequently after prp injections. Thanks for watching!

@@DrewTimmermansND Thanks Drew, appreciate your reply :) how long would you recommend Thymosin B4 before taking a break and how long a break would you recommend before starting up again for older people and older :) athletes?
Thanks for this very interesting, and easy to follow. Is there any oral version of TB4 (any alternative to injecting, or would an insulin pen be suitable)... Thanks again!
Since thymosin b4 is more complicated (43 vs 7 amino acids) does that mean it has potentially more side effects or adverse reactions than the simpler form? And is it more fragile to handle?
I would argue that it has less side effects because its more broad spectrum than the more isolated tb500. We see that all the time in medicine- think of all the very isolated drugs vs the broad herbs they come from
Is it possible to take 10mg of TB500 a day for the next 10 days after a surgery so that it can heal real quick or heal quicker than usual? Please do get back to me asap I'd appreciate it many thanks!
Fair enough, I can't find the Reddit comment where someone said that they used tb500 10mg a day for 10 day's and that's it they never ever used it again because it healed them after some sort of leg pain
Fair enough boss, as for me can I as a healthy person who needs to heal from too much exercise and not growing muscles, could I do it 2wice a week for 3 weeks? And never ever ever ever do it again? Because of it power! Let's talk hypothetically here.
What effects, if any, would this have on stage 2 avn in the hip of a 43 year old healthy male? Really trying to avoid decompression surgery. Thank you.
Thats a more advanced condition and peptides may help but higher chance they won't. We usually perform bone marrow concentrate injections for AVN as there is quite a bit of long term research on it for AVN.
Not directly into the ligament but nearby sub-q or IM. I had decent success with BPC-157 and TB500 for a quad tear recovery that required surgical intervention. Ligaments should react similarly although likely a bit slower than muscle or tendon. You probably already know this, but it's best to also incorporate other therapeutic techniques such as exercise, and ceasing/modifying activities that worsen the problem. That is my anecdotal experience.
I stick my tb500 and bpc 157 directly in to the spot of pain , for me rotator cuff, and it works so much better than just putting it in to the shoulder. One more week left and then i come off. Also stuff has healed my broken knuckles and fractured hand in ten days, not yet fully healed , but close. I was told it would be 8 weeks!!!!!. Just buy legit stuff and it truly is amazing
Why do people become old and decrepit? Why does testosterone fall off in middle aged men? Why do postmenopausal women need to work harder to avoid osteopenia? Why do kids heal from injuries so much faster than geriatrics? Bodies break down and biological pathways become less effective with age.
If someone wanted to use BPC 157 (and possibly TB 500) after an achilles tendon surgery, how long after the surgery should one start? Also, PT would obviously help the process. However, PT is usually withheld for a few weeks after this type of surgery. Should one wait to begin PT before beginning a cycle? Thanks in advance.
@@DrewTimmermansND I have one more question.. For achilles tendon surgery, are calf injections close enough? I can't really grab any skin to give a sub q injection around my ankle.
You don't need to inject near the site of injury. Inject into your belly fat. Unless you are injecting it directly into the damaged tissue (which I do NOT recommend you do), the injection will be picked up by the blood vessels in your subcutaneous tissue and will go systemic. That's how your body will heal from BPC-157.
@@DrewTimmermansND Gotcha! That's what I was thinking too. But everywhere I look online I see suggestions to inject in or near the injury site. I'm glad I finally got a concrete answer. Thank you so much 🙏

Hey man, peptide calculators can help you in the future, but ill help here. So you have 5mg/mL which equals 5000mcg/mL. One mL is 100 units. I'm assuming you don't want 2.5mg because that would be half the vial and way too high of a dose. If you want 250mcg (0.25mg) then you would inject 5iu
@@DrewTimmermansND wow appreciate your help, I really hope this helps my wrist injury. Again thank you for the help! One more question how often should I take this dosage?

Awesome video thanks heaps! I’ve had an injury of the manubriosternal joint from dips for nearly 2 years. I’m finally able to lift again but still very careful. Doctors haven’t been able to fix it at all. MRI showed inflammation at/around the joint. Will tb 500 injections possibly help this? And how long/frequently would it need to be done? Thanks again
Hey doc, great presentation. Does it matter where the injection site is? One doctor has told me it should be injected to near the injury site, but everywhere I read on the internet says it can be injected just into the stomach fat as it is sytimatic
Super great question! It does not need to be injected over the site of injury, because within a few mm of the injection, the peptide will get absorbed by the blood stream and it goes systemic. Belly fat is easiest for most people, so that's what we recommend.
Another video reviewing some of the research said there is a dose response curve with less results at the extremely high dosage range. At least for Tb500.
Appreciate that you answer questions here. I have torn cartilage in my left knee and would like to try this. However, my original injury was from a fall while pregnant 28 yrs ago on my right groin that they still have not figured out - getting an MRI finally. I gave up and used an acupuncturist and chiropractor to get moving. If it is something torn on this area could I use it there as well. I am 72, they say bowel is good although that was the area I had problems with. Xray from chiropractor showed my pelvic bones were not even. Recently I caused something to irritate the area and I am in pain there with certain movements and this made me use my left side (knee) more and irritate it while it was healing from another tumble down wooden steps...so the knee did not heal and got worse. Do you know who could treat me here in Canada? Or will I have to give myself injections? Do not have a regular Dr. (we are short Dr.'s here in areas of Canada) but luckily I am a healthy and active person. So do not have someone to ask about this. Any help is appreciated.
@@DrewTimmermansND Yes, I am. I hear the stuff is not that expensive? But to get the shot is it legally done here. Hard having two injuries. Makes it more difficult to heal.

Will anything work?

I have a partially torn ACL and torn meniscus…. I’ve been taking TB4 and I honestly can say that my knee feels more stable than ever since I had the injury.
Not sure if it’s a placebo thing but it definitely feels more stable.

How do you take TB4 ? Where do you inject it ? How do you deal with pain from injecting it daily in the same spot ?

I'm 12 weeks post double open femur fracture and 5 weeks post bone graph (doner femur marrow and stem cells, plus cadaver bone). I plan to take BPC 157 arginate and tb-4 fragment to help with inflammation, ROM in my knee, scar tissue, and muscle regrowth. Is the tb-4 fragment okay to use in regard to my bone graph?
Very interesting, curious to know if this would work in treating endometriosis related pain and inflammation?
Don't have any experience with that sorry.
Our compounding pharmacy has stability testing for much longer than that.
Hi Drew,
What's your opinion / experience if any with TB4 in regards to healing heart damage from mycordatis or similar conditions affecting the heart.
I've read some studies which seem to indicate a positive effect in repairing damage after a heart attack but I'd like to collect a wide array of information before making any decisions on treatment.
Thank you
The research I've looked at has been promising with high dose tb4. Because that's not my patient population I don't have any clinical experience
What would you recommend me to use and what dosage in order for me to get it back to atleast 95%
I'm sorry to hear that. I don't make in depth personal recommendations on social media, as that's what I do during appointments with my patients. If you'd like to become a patient, you can find out more information at regenerativeperformance.com/contact. You can also check out different peptides and supplements we have on our website, and then do some research into the different peptides/supplements - regenerativeperformance.com/supplements
I have had ulnar and radial nerve issues. What peptide would you recommend for nerve damage? (BPC-157 did nothing for me)
Thymosin beta 4 is sometimes helpful for nerve issues. To be honest, what we find that works the absolute best for most people is nerve hydrodissection in our office with platelet rich plasma or another orthobiologic substance.
Other things you should think about:
1. Vitamin C 1-3g per day
2. Quinton hypertonic sea minerals 10mL twice per day (electrolytes are crazy important for nerve health)
3. Mobility programming from The Ready State (Google them)
4. Lymphatic work from Dr. Perry Nickelston (Google him too, Stop Chasing Pain).

What dosage would you recommend for a ligament injury in the wrist? Is it ok to mix TB 500 with BPC 157?😊
I believe if you watch the video, you will see general dosages discussed. Unless the pharmacy compounds the TB500 with the BPC-157, we generally don't recommend to mix
Hi Drew, do you know of a safe source for TB4 in Canada? TIA
No sorry

Just had metacarpal surgery and ran 10 MG of TB-4 with the 1.5mg/day protocol.
Do you usually have patients cycle off now or run 750 mcg till they’re healed?
our most recent protocol is just to run for a short time after the procedure, usually 3-6 weeks and that's it
Thank u doc, local( my injury is in the sopraspinatus tendon )subcutaneous injection are fine?
Yep subq is the belly will work great!
@@DrewTimmermansNDoh true, awesome, thanks for the response ☺
theres the half-life and then the physiological half-lif. Even after it leaves your body, other cascades have already been put in motion. A short half life isn't always "bad".
Would you use the same dosing protocol for frag 17-23?
our dosing strategy is a little different for TB500. We currently have 2 tiers depending on severity of the condition and the timing. We will either do 3mg of TB500 per week (daily dosing, so approx 430mcg per day) or 5mg per week (so approx 715mcg per day).

Mentiined intraoperative dose and mixing with other peptides. Sorta confused. 0.250mcg with intraoperative AND mixing or "also if" mixing? Tb4 with bpc 157....0.250mcgs then or still .750mcg a day?
Unless you're a physician who is performing injections procedures, ignore intraop dosing.

Each patient is unique. Most commonly we are starting low and titrating upwards - starting around 500mcg per day and working up to 1mg most commonly
is it still 3 months on 6 weeks off? In addition I’m also in BPC 157 500mcg oral daily and TA1 0.5mg subq daily.

how long would you recommend Thymosin B4 before taking a break and how long a break would you recommend before starting up again for older people and older :) athletes?
Everyone is different, so I cant make a general statement.
Thanks for this very interesting, and easy to follow. Is there any oral version of TB4 (any alternative to injecting, or would an insulin pen be suitable)... Thanks again!
My pleasure! Tb4 isn't orally stable, so it needs to be injected. An insulin syringe is what we use and more than acceptable!
We generally don't dose that high or that often. Higher end of dosing we do is 5mg twice per week. More isn't always better
Fair enough, I can't find the Reddit comment where someone said that they used tb500 10mg a day for 10 day's and that's it they never ever used it again because it healed them after some sort of leg pain
But that doesn't mean they needed that high of a dose. They might have seen the same results with 1mg per day! Who knows

Thank you.

Can you inject tb500 straight into a problematic ligament? I’ve done it with bpc157 and had great success
You can yes. We do this under ultrasound guidance

If its naturally released at wound sites why would the natural amount not be the ideal amount?
Why do people become old and decrepit? Why does testosterone fall off in middle aged men? Why do postmenopausal women need to work harder to avoid osteopenia? Why do kids heal from injuries so much faster than geriatrics?
Bodies break down and biological pathways become less effective with age.

@@DrewTimmermansND Ty!

Standard dose is 750mcg of thymosin beta 4 (I dont use tb500). You have to find a dose calculator online for your particular vial
So I’m a complete newb, I have 5mg of Thymosin beta 4, once reconstituted with 1 ml of bacterial static water how many units is it on a insulin syringe when I need 2.5 mg dosage twice a week? Is it 10, 15 units please help.
