- In this video I will show you how I installed a set of aluminum pedal in my Nissan Pathfinder with automatic transmission. This pedal set requires some drilling but the result is a good solid pedal that is safe for everyday driving.

In this video I will show you how to install a set of aluminum racing pedals in your vehicle. The installation does require drilling into the factory pedal as screws are used to properly secure the pedals. This will ensure these are safe to use while driving and will not come off. Watch the entire video for all the details.
NOTE: The drill bit used for drilling is 9/64" size

That mod will add 20hp at least
Exactly what I needed to see, thank you.
@Terrance Francisco fake news
Looking good. Nice vehicle upgrade. Thanks for the useful tips 🤛🏽
Excellent video, thank you for putting it out, I'm waiting for my set to arrive and know exactly what to do with your help!
Glad to be able to help. Cheers!
•I noticed that you didn’t have to use all of the screws (top 2 of the deadpan, far left of brake and top left of accelerator) when you installing everything.
•However, all of the screws appeared to be filled in at the end.
•Did you just grind off the back of the screw and epoxy it on
or
•Did you screw it through the rubber?
•Yours turned out looking real nice 👍.
•I just wanted to make sure that I knew exactly what I was getting into before pulling the trigger.
Thanx
The screws do need to go through the factory pedal to be mounted and the aftermarket pedal is much larger so some screw holes don't lineup over the factory pedal. So you are correct, I did not put all the screws through the factory pedal. To complete the look, I simple threaded the remaining unused screws into the aftermarket pedal and through the rubber padding underneath. If course your vehicle will differ depending on the shape of the factory pedal.
Love the new look
I just I stalled mines today love it
Why didn't you remove the rubber/plastic coverings on the pedals?
Looking good. Keep up them mods on that Pathfinder.
what kind of drill bit is that? I was drilling forever and couldn't get through the pedal on my Toyota van
High speed steel (HSS) drill bit. Also spray some lubricant like WD40 on the drill bit and that will help cut into the steel (make sure your drill bit is in good condition).
Or you could put a piece of flex seal tape on them and let it sit for 24 hrs.
Found it 👍
What size drill bit did you use to drill the holes
The drill bit used for drilling is 9/64" size
Must have for all Honda drivers! Got to have pedals for you're tin can sounding super shit race cars.
does pedal get slippery if have wet shoes.
The rubber knobs help with grip. But eventually after many years of use, the rubber will wear down, and at that point it can be a bit slippery.
@@dial2fast ok, put edges of it no grip, foot can slip
Will this work for all Nissans, I have Nissan Murano will it work for that?
I checked the one that I provided the link to from Amazon and the gas pedal has same drill hole pattern so it will fit 3 of the 4 screws. The brake pedal have a different hole pattern than what I got but again looks to be able to fit 3 of the 4 screws. The e-brake and dead pedal will have no problem fitting. You may want to take a look at your gas pedal and also pull back the rubber cover on your brake pedal to see how it is.
dial2fast okey thanks
Get the fuck out of here. You have a Murano, it's not a racecar you idiot. You are the exact reason sport pedals are no longer nice on sports cars. You are definitely the same guy that would buy his wife a minivan and install a spoiler on it ... oh yeah and don't forget the hood scoop.
Tyler Sierra are you okay lol
@@tylersierra8948 no, you think they aren't nice on a race car. Your opinion means nothing in the grand scheme of things & you are the one who clicked on the video.
Probably 1-2 hour job
What size of drill bit did you use?
I don't remember but just use a drill bit size slightly bigger than the screw diameter since you need the screw to pass through it.
Been drilling at can’t seem to get it on
How do we get the mismo ones?
Now when soles are wet, will make pedals more slippery.
The rubber inserts prevents that from happening
Booboosik : Did you see the black dot ? That’s a rubber !
@@arileffendi89 Not enough surface area. This is where a design choice to show off more metal makes the use dangerous.
Booboosik : No ! This pedal is quite good .. I’ve bought this pedal, but not install yet ..
I only like footrest part. The others not sure if needed...
drill then nvm. Not worth to do
Real man use 4 paddle
i would have kept the pedals as they were designed.
I can tell by your profile pic that you would have kept the pedals as they were designed.
