Infinite mana, which is easy in so many ways, Kamal, First of Krosa or Jurl, master of beasts (I think that's the name but limits to one player and reduces cost to 2G), and any board wipe. 😛
@@jamesb7257 if I came up with the idea myself. Something clever like that and would be happy. But if I were to now use them for a quick cheesy win, I would feel stupid.
One of the funniest Combos i Play in my Low Power Decks is stuffy soll + pharia. I call it "Stop hitting yourself". Also witg guilty conscience you get a oneshot Combo If you can give haste
Another Jank combo: Put Immortal Coil on the battlefield, give it to your opponent with Bazaar Trader, then empty its graveyard with a Tormod's Crypt. 3 cards Red/Black, and not expensive
So RBU trade deck, where you donate to your enemy and take for yourself, with multiple instant wins like demonic pact, immortal Coil, etc. Daring Thief deck. Or Puca's Mischief deck. Sounds fun
• Felidar Guardian $ 0.67 • Mirage Mirror $ 1.86 • Mirror March $ 0.36 You put Mirror March and Mirage Mirror on the battlefield (mir-mir copying mir-mar). Then you cast Felidar. You have one enchantment for heads and the other for tails. The new token will blink the original Felidar creating another token with blink. You wil have infinite amount of them. Mar-mir Peruvian combo? FYI: Peru's flag is red and white. Note: I am terrible for names :p
I dont know how much more effective this is but a buddy of mine gave me a strat better than phage, use a creature named Leveler. Its only 5 colorless for a 10/10 that forces you to exile your library when it enters but its a cheaper combo than phage and all you need to do is pass the turn after you fractured identity it
My favorite combo has always been as follows; First, have Bruniclad and Oviya Pashiri (I might have spelled that wrong lol) on the field. Then play Master Of Waves, hopefully with a high devotion to blue, and get a bunch of 1/0 elementals. Then activate Oviya's second ability to make an X/X construct, where X is the number of creatures you control. Then use Bruniclad's ability to turn all of the 1/0's into X/X constructs. Instant army of big bois lol.
I wanted to do something really fun with Fractured Identity when I first saw it. Get something that gives you Hexproof and play Fractured Identity on that to give each other player Hexproof. Then you play Sky Swallower, an 8/8 flier that makes you give target opponent all other permanents you control, but the effect fizzles because of Hexproof. Play Fracture Identity again, many tricks to get it back or play it from the graveyard, targeting Sky Swallower and then gain control of all permanents other than the Sky Swallower tokens because you are the only legal target. All that can be done in just a Blue and White deck.
Bronze bombshell and endless whispers can also use bazaar trader and intruder alarm to combo out if you don't have the sac outlet. I just pieced that combo together in my head like a day ago and here it is in a video. Awesome!
Favorite Jank combo I've never seen pulled off, but would love to: Any "Pact" card (Pact of Negation is my favorite for this concept, but Intervention Pact and Pact of the Titan are cheapest) plus Sudden Substitution. Cast your pact, steal a creature from whomever you hate the most, and watch them (probably; chromatic lantern notwithstanding) lose on their next upkeep.
My first and favourite deck that I have been playing for a decade now is my Ghave Rube Goldberg deck. The entire point of the deck is to combo as much as possible without going infinite. It is filled with jank combos that you normally don't see and I love it.
One of my favorites is an Azorius combo which is a bit complicated but super fun: Have Nephalia Smuggler and Conjurers Closet on the field. Then, cast either Part the Waterveil or Karn's Temporal Sundering (if you have your commander). With those extra turn spells in exile take your next turn, and cast Pull From Eternity and Archaeomancer. Now you essentially have infinite turns by targeting both the extra turn and pull, and bouncing with closet and smuggler. It is difficult though, but I still love the combo.
I like my scape shift, splendid reclamation combo. Dump all your land into the grave, search all new ones. Then dump all the grave land straight onto the battlefield. It adds up fast. Ive had 22 land on turn 7.
Love the combos! If your opponents lands are indestructible somehow for the Natural Affinity + Ezuri's Predation combo, you could even use Elesh Norn. This way you don't need 12 mana in one turn, but you would need white in the deck.
Mitch you should add the combo: Decree of Silence and Solemnity. Its budget for sure! Decree of Silence is a 6UU enchantment that states "whenever an opponent would cast a spell, counter that spell and put a time counter on Decree of Silence. If Decree of Silence has 3 or more time counters, sacrifice it. Solemnity states that Players cant get counters, counters cannot be put on permanents (other than planeswalkers). Basically you drop solemnity you drop Decree of Silence and youre opponents can never cast spells. Solemnity also works with Phyrexian Unlife to make you unable to die to loss of life or damage unless it is commander damage I believe
These are pretty cool. I used to run a Bronze Bombshell/Endless Whispers combo, but simply ran Death Cloud as a way to not only sacrifice my Bombshell, but just deal massive amounts of damage with multiple Bombshells *note, we didn't play commander back in the day so these were just casual games*
I currently have two janky combos in the works right now. The first one was something that I was proud of thinking up, but takes a lot of set-up. It's in a Kangee deck that involves infinite mana through Isochron/Dramatic Reversal, then dropping either an extra turn spell or Lightning Greaves/Blade of Selves, dropping Dovescape, then playing Kangee with an arbitrarily large number of feather counters and playing an arbitrarily large Blue Sun's Zenith. The other one is in an enchantress deck that involves Enchanted Evening, Ajani's Chosen, Eidolon of Blossoms, and Lab Man as a win con.
This is just a minor criticism, I do love the content and the way the channel spotlights cards and combos a lot of people don’t know about (like Splinter!) but do you guys think you could slow down speaking? Sometimes I have to rewind to figure out what was said and I’m not hard of hearing or anything.
So I know the video is older but still I wanted to comment the jankiest combo I ever played. It consists of "Knacksaw Clique" "paradise mantle" and "Training Grounds" so you can completly exile all opponents libaries and play all of the cards exiled until end of turn. Hope anyone enjoys this as much as I did.
Fun combo with another player’s card that I found: Consecrated Sphinx when they have a Notion Thief. The next time they draw, it triggers Consecrated Sphinx and you choose to draw 2. They have to take those draws. That triggers Consecrated Sphinx again... If they don’t have a Lab Man out, they mill themselves to death.
Saffi Eriksdotter, Renegade Rallier, a free sac outlet like Viscera Seer, and a Blood Artist effect. I used to like to get them all in the graveyard with Buried Alive and then cast Rally the Ancestors when people were tapped out to do the combo and instant speed. Very fun when it works.
My go to jank combo is Bolas's Citadel + Aetherflux Resevoir + Mana Severance. With the Citadel and Reservoir on the field, cast mana severance to exile all your lands in your library. Then you have to to cast about 20 spells from your deck with the Citadel to gain enough life (about 200 or so) from the reservoir to shoot the table. It's janky since you need legal targets for all your spells but super satisfying if you pull it off.
Neth _How?_ There are at least 2 ways. One is Mairsil exiling Quicksilver Elemental. Also Mycosynth Lattice, March of the Machines, and any planeswalker on the battlefield. The other? www.reddit.com/r/BadMtgCombos/comments/6tgjnp/i_want_to_pretend_to_be_a_mind_sculptor_when_i/ _Why?_ Because we can.
Morophon anthem deck with 5 or more anthem creatures in play under your control. Equip either Runed Stalactite or Amorphous Axe to Champion of Lambholt. Now you have a beefed up unblockable who can hit really hard without the need of pumping it up with +1/+1 counters. Having Lovisa Coldeyes or Samut, Voice of Dissent out can give Champion haste and attack on the turn you play them.
Enchanted Evening with Cleansing Meditation can also be a way to get addition trigger, Mana, etc. And it's white to keep the colors necessary for the deck to work down to 2.
My ultimate group hug combos... Weird Harvest: Everyone tutors X creatures to their hand; use it to tutor Tempting Wurm for yourself. Play Tempting Wurm: everyone dumps all their best creatures at once. A similar combo is play Boldwyr Heavyweights: Each opponent tutors 1 creature directly to the BF. Then hit it with Fractured Identity: Each of your opponents gets 2 more creature-to-BF tutors and you get 3.
My favourite combo is with Lethal Vapours and Teferi's Protection, activate lethal vapours a million times and play Teferi's protection, nothing happens to u for a million turn rotations
I think, considering the priority system, that you need an extra card (krosan grip) : - To hold priority and skip 92+ turns. - still holdin priority, cast Teferi's Protection - still hold priority and cast Krosan Grip targetting the lethal vapour. Else your opponents will be able to skip that many turns in response to Teferi's protection. If they don't realise they should do so... several cases of 'you don't win' may happen.
For my favorite combo you need; Nekusar, the Mindrazer Dual casting Barbed Shocker Megrim Diminishing Returns And, Whispering Madness Cast the first four in any order, attaching Dual Casting to Nekusar. Then cast Diminishing Returns, making sure Nekusar has been out for one full turn already since he doesn't have haste. After that, cast Whispering Madness, activating Dual Casting on Nekusar to copy Whispering Madness, and then Cipher both copies of Whispering Madness to Barbed Shocker. Then attack with Barbed Shocker, and as long as they block it, Barbed Shocker will cause them to cycle through their hand three time once again. This will cause one player to take 42 damage from Nekusar and the rest of your opponents to take 35 damage from Nekusar. Plus Megrim will also trigger when they discard, so one player will take at least 70 damage, and the rest of your opponents will take at least 56 damage. This combo can be even more powerful with the cards; Spark Double (making a copy of Nekusar) Mirrormade (making a copy of Dual Casting, and putting it on the copy of Nekusar, so you can copy Whispering Madness twice) Dictate of th Twin Gods Raiders' Wake Fell Specter And, Phyresis (on Nekusar) Note getting this combo in its complete form is really hard to pull off, but it works pretty well incomplete as well, as long as you have the right cards. Yes this combo is overkill, but I don't care, it's so much fun to use.
I run a Jhoira Weatherlight Captain build and I love the idea of using Mana Severance leaving 1 Mountain in my deck then hitting a Goblin Charbelcher activation.
Long post, buckle up. -I've had good luck with Ashling the Pilgrim and Scythe of the Wretched. Basilisk Collar or Blade of the Bloodchief can boost it, but winding up with basically all creatures on the board feels GOOOOOOD. -Gratuitous Violence plus Heartless Hidetsugu is a fun way to end a game, just remember to try to protect yourself somehow (or dont, as nuking everything from orbit can also be a good answer). -In my Prossh list I have a ton of fun with Purphoros, God of the Forge. A favorite combo is Mitotic Slime, Goblin Bombardment, and PGotF. Feldon of the Third Path (or any reanimation effects ever) make it repeatable. In face, replace Slime with whatever token generator you want, it'll all work out in the end. It's just abusing Purphoros really, and that's not exactly an impressive combo.
I like running Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood in my Kambal deck. The fact that the combo doesn't go off immediately but is almost always inevitable if the pieces are allowed to resolve leads to some fun and anxious tension over who is finally going to trigger everyone's doom.
My personal favorite is Lunar Force, a card that makes enchantments creatures like Opalescence or Starfield of Nyx, and Assault Suit. If you equip the suit to Lunar Force, its effect of being sacrificed to counter an opponent's next spell won't sacrifice it, but since the sacrifice isn't a cost it'll still counter the spell. Now every spell an opponent casts will be countered unless the spell can't be countered. I run it in my Estrid deck.
By far this is my most favorite jankiest combo that I pulled off against my buddy a while back. So here's the setup: Paragon Drake + Deadeye navigator to generate infinite mana. From there I casted sun titan and had a magus of the wheel in the graveyard. Lastly I equipped lightning greaves to the magus and activated his ability. After magus went to the graveyard, I bounced deadeye and then paired him with sun titan. Ultimately I milled out my buddy and myself until I hit lab maniac and kept milling till I won the game.
Ohmygoodness. I just realized that the kitten from harmless offering has a snake tail! I seriously never knew that. (I would accept the kitten anyway. It has such a cute face!)
Archaemancer + ghostly flicker + peregrine drake is the newest combo I have discovered in my Aminatou deck. It seems like every card in it unintentionally combos with each other.
A very fun somewhat janky combo is Flash + academy rector + omniscience. It is somewhat expensive, but when you assemble it you are nigh unstoppable if you build your deck right. Card draw, land destruction, big fatties, just cast your entire deck and win with lab man, you can pretty much do whatever and still win.
Okay, it's a 6 card combo that wins me a ton of games. You have the gitrog monster in play as well as skirge familiar, then you have dakmor salvage in hand. This will generate you infinite black mana. (I learned this one from you, mitch.) Then you use that mana to cast ayara, first of locthwain or syr konrad. Either works. Then at some point, you have either milled or casted reassembling skeleton. All you need at that point is a sac outlet. Altar of dementia is pretty good. Personally, i like ashnod's altar because it stands alone as being a fantastic card. You use skeleton's activated ability and ayara or syr konrad kills the table. Alternatively, enchanted evening + opalescence. Your opponents can now no longer play lands. nyxbloom ancient + rite of replication can make it so each of your permanents tap for 243 times more mana. 729 if the original was yours. Imagine floating 729 mana with an arcane signet.
Cultural Exchange - two players exchange the same number of total creatures; in response cast Mirrorweave on Bronze Bombshell. Two opponents exchanges 6 Bronze Bombshells and each explodes for 42 damage. Infinite Reflection on Bronze Bombshell cast Reins of Power or Twist Allegiance, switch creatures, they get explodes you get to swing in.
I prefer cleansing meditation for the enchanted evening combo. It's 1ww for destroy all enchantments threshold-then return all permanents you own that where destroyed this way to the battlefield. Get your etbs and all of your lands become untapped
Another fun one is Niv-Mizzet Parun + Curiosity. Play any instant or sorcery, Niv-Mizzet deals damage to opponent, you draw a card from curiosity and since you drew you can have Niv-Mizzet do damage again. Rinse repeat until opponent is dead :)
Vorel Commander, magistrate wand, something like Surge Node to give wand a charge counter, and a proliferate source/way to untap Vorel. 4 card infinite turns. Or my personal favorite: Big Life Vorel. Vorel doubles counters, Eternity Vessel sets your life total to charge counters on it, Vorel continues to double it. Playing any land sets your life to 320+ after 3 turns. Playing Group Hug Vorel also works since no one targets you. Then when your life total is 200+, throw out the Aetherflux Reservoir, and now you don’t need a breakable chain to kill.
In pauper edh there is a combo with Mirran Spy + Banishing Knack + Ornothopter + Impact tremors. There are a few substitutes for each card to make it slightly more consistent.
Okay, so i've had this idea for years now but i don't think i'll ever actually get to play it. It involves old Rakdos, and yes i mean the really old one, the one that basicly makes everyone sac half of their non-demon permanents rounded up when he attacks. Theres an old card, from antiquities i think, called Kormus's bell that turns all swamps into 1/1's. Combine that with conspiracy, urborg and then, and here's the kicker, liquimetal coating and karn so you can animate conspiracy and the bell, you can have rakdos be a one sided "sac half your permanents" whenever he attacks. Now that is what i call value. (If you want to be nasty, throw in an It That Betrays or something, but leave me out of it okay?) I never said it was a good combo, but boy would it be funny to assemble it and watch as your opponents frown in disbelief over the fact that you spent like 3-4 tutors setting this up
I would never run those in Commander because it's too hard to assemble without tons of tutors, but I have built several of the aforementioned combos in 60 card decks. The Demonic Pact/Harmless Offering/Bazaar Trader/Abyssal Persecutor/Immortal Coil/Bojuka Bog deck won a surprising number of games. My favorite jank combo game ever, though, I used Dark Ritual/Dark Ritual/Animate Land/Erradicate to strip every Plains out of my friend's deck on turn 2. It was hilarious. And Bronze Bombshell was a staple in my Confusion in the Ranks deck. Good times.
Fun simic combo. You give your opponents infinite turns (that you control) Emrakul promised end, temur sabertooth, any creature flash enabler, seedborn muse, and enough land mana to both cast and bounce emrakul (max 15, min 8)
I pulled off a really janky combo recently in a game of commander. Was playing bant, I had hedron crab on the fild. I cast clone having 2 of them. I cast boundless realms. And I had 15 lands in play. Causing me to put 15 basic lands and being able to mill 90 cards. Killing one of the other players and bringing another to near death via mill. The goal of the deck was not to mill *crab tribal* but it was a sick combo.
Darksteel Forge, Mycosynth Lattice, Nev's Disk. Everyone else's stuff goes boom, but it takes a lot of setup. On the bright side, you get to stall everyone else long enough to get your real win con.
one of my favorite combos is howling mine (or any other card that has everyone draw more than one card during their draw step) + hive mind + enter the infinite. play the combo and watch as your enemies lose during their draw step
I've done the Tainted Remedy and Beacon of Immortality combo... Then I cast Fork. Aria of Flame has some fun combos with cheap Buyback spells as well, like the Buyback Fog.
Parallax wave + opalescent/star field of nyx : exile a creature using the wave’s ability, respond to it by using the wave’s ability to target itself. When both abilities resolve, the creature will remain in exile. Can also combo with oblivion ring to exile all non-land permanents.
My favorite deck is a Morophon wizards deck that can combo off in a few different (all some degree of janky) ways, with my favorite using Morophon, Retraction Helix, Derevi, and a creature like Inspired Sprite to make infinite mana.
One of my absolute favorite commander decks is all about one janky combo. It's Tajic, Legions Edge Goblin Tribal. It takes a bunch to set up, but basically it is looking for Skirk Fire Marshal. With Tajic preventing the damage to your creatures, all you need is CoP Red or another damage preventer and you can usually get a I e sided board wipe, plus ten to everyone's face. Add in damage doublers and untap effects and occasionally you can drop the Fire Marshal and deal 40 out of nowhere.
One jank combo I know of is nearheath Pilgrim + Volcano Hellion + Boros Reckoner: Pair Pilgrim with Hellion and target Reckoner with hellio's etb with any amount. You take essentialy 0 dmg thx to lifelink and reckoner takes out 1 player. Add blinks like Resto angel or cloudshift for multiple reckoner triggers.
Lilliana of the dark realms has a -6 ability that gives you an emblem reading "swamps you control have (tap) add bbbb to your manapool" Combine this with urborg and all lands you control can tap for four black. Its like cabal coffers + urborg but probably less expensive, (idk how much most cards are wirth and i don't care enough to look it up) and also giving more mana (although it also takes more set up since you need to get lilliana from 3 loyalty to 6 in order to get the emblem.)
Cryptolith Rite, Spawning Pit, Lightning Greaves, Winding Constrictor. Have constrictor in play with another like 1/1, sac the 1/1 to spawning pit, before you sac it tap for mana With Winding Constrictors static, it puts two counters on it instead, use the 1 floating mana and have a blood artist in play too.
Fractured Identity + Radiate. Fractured Identity: Exile target nonland permanent. Each player other than its controller creates a token that's a copy of it. Radiate: Choose target instant or sorcery spell that targets only a single permanent or player. Copy that spell for each other permanent or player the spell could target. Each copy targets a different one of those permanents and players. So together, all players lose all permanents they control, and gain all permanents that they don’t, one of my favourites in my chaos deck!
Platinum Angel + Abyssal Persecutor + Neurok Stealthsuit... I'm not playing Stax, you can still "play" MtG... we won't be ending anytime soon though... Hope you have fun
The Phyrexian Unlife is amusing, I actually have a commander deck basically built around that concept, using Lich, Unlife etc to just sit at less than 0 life and survive, and either use Repay in Kind or Axis of Mortality, or just attrition from Triskadekaphobia and similar cards to just slowly win
I used to use Donate with Derelor from Fallen Empires, then use sleight of mind to change Derelor to read: all your "color you're playing" spells cost {B} more. It's pure jank lock.
I managed to pull my janky combo off once: An indestructible creature (Hazoret in my case), Pariah's Shield, and Arcbond. Deal any damage to the creature somehow, cast Arcbond in response. Now the damage it's dealt is also dealt to each creature and player, but since the damage it deals to you is dealt to itself again instead. Indestructibility makes this an unbreakable infinite loop that hopefully ends the game in a swoop. Also works with different pieces, like Repercussion and Stuffy Doll.
Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle on board with Darksteel Relic and some free sac outlet (etc. Demonmail Hauberk). Play Glint Hawk, bunce relic, sacrifice glint hawk, play relic, teshar brings glint hawk back, bounce relic and so on. Just add something to abuse the loop (Blasting Station instead of Demonmail Hauberk). Not so janky or budget but Linden, the Steadfast Queen + Archangel of Thune. Also Syr Konrad, the Grim + Mindcrank. May need some push but wil do it's work.
It's not a guaranteed win but playing Undead Alchemist and Altar of the Brood is quite satisfying. Each time a permanent etb's, Altar of the Brood makes all your opponents mill. Undead Alchemist says when an opponent mills a creature, the card is exiled and you put a zombie creature token on the field. Works best in large pods with minimal spell slingers!
Natural Affinity + Elesh Norn Mycosynth Lattice + Hellkite Tyrant Sundering Titan + Soulherder Neheb, The Eternal + Aggravated Assault Some of these are pricy, but they're awesome to see work.
Opalescence + Parallax Wave infinitely exiles all creatures your opponents have and it sticks around until on of them has enchantment removal. If you also have Parallax Tide in play it exiles all their lands as well and can do so as they play lands, which essentially is a hard-lock.
Jank combo's... Price of glory + war's toll + fade away Dismiss into dream + shoving match/gigadrowse Hive mind + final fortune + sundial of the infinite
Mana Short + Kefnet (the Amonket) + Mystic Sanctuary + any way to draw an extra card each of your turns. Someone doesn't get to play the game. There may be ways to upgrade the combo as well. If you can tap all lands when a land becomes tapped just play early frost and shut down all your opponents at once. Winter Orb makes things really fun. An alternative way to set it up is the card that makes all permanents enchantments + The new creature from Theros that bounces an enchantment each upkeep + Mystic Sanctuary + Mana Short. Then run Back to Nature as a panic button and some indestructible permanents like darksteel cards and drownyard temple. Frozen Aether can amplify the effect with Winter Orb. I'm an evil magic player. The good news is I haven't built it... yet.
Cloudhoof Kirin + Psychic Puppetry + Petals of Insight + Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx + devotion 8. Cloudhoof is devotion 2, so that helps. So, Nykthos for 8. Cast Petals, splice Puppetry, spending 6. Casting triggers Kirin, milling target player 5. Choose first option on Petals, returning it to your hand. Puppetry untaps Nykthos. Two floating, Nykthos for 8. Keep going.
My favorite janky combo has to be Mind Crank and Duskmantle Guildmage. I know it gets some hate making a Mill deck in commander but now everyone expects laboratory maniac or Jace and self mill. I set up my Mind Crank and Duskmantle Guildmage and then hit the field with the tap ability of Jace's Archivist and watched the blood bath.
“Mass land destruction in a mono green deck. Who knew.”
Says the guy who built a mono green land destruction deck
Infinite mana, which is easy in so many ways, Kamal, First of Krosa or Jurl, master of beasts (I think that's the name but limits to one player and reduces cost to 2G), and any board wipe. 😛
"The quickest and cheapest way to lose your play group and all of your friends"
cool ideas, but I think they would be cheap wins. I would feel dirty if I won by using these.
I would not.
@@jamesb7257 if I came up with the idea myself. Something clever like that and would be happy. But if I were to now use them for a quick cheesy win, I would feel stupid.
A win is a win..especially against spikes..
I love seeing combos go off, even if its an opponent. Youll never appreciate combo play until you do it yourself.
You say "Jank" I say tactical victory.
Keep up the Awesome!!!
Enchanted Evening is much cooler with Aura Thief. Gain control of EVERY PERMANENT.
That's evil. I LOVE it!
That's actually happened to me
I came close to pulling that combo off... Just made me public enemy #1. Didn't help I as had a yavimaya enchantress in play too
Enchanted Evening, Greater Auramancy, and Oath of Teferi is pretty fun for people to try to find a workaround to.
One of the funniest Combos i Play in my Low Power Decks is stuffy soll + pharia. I call it "Stop hitting yourself". Also witg guilty conscience you get a oneshot Combo If you can give haste
I really like mass land destruction, but mass REMOVE LANDS FROM THE LIBRARY is a whole new level for me.
...I kinda love it.
you will learn quickly that will get people to never play with you again or everyone will blitz to kill you first every game
Another Jank combo:
Put Immortal Coil on the battlefield, give it to your opponent with Bazaar Trader, then empty its graveyard with a Tormod's Crypt.
3 cards Red/Black, and not expensive
That's evil... I love it.
Immortal coil, fractured identity, and scavenger grounds if you want to wipe all opponents out at once
So RBU trade deck, where you donate to your enemy and take for yourself, with multiple instant wins like demonic pact, immortal Coil, etc.
Daring Thief deck. Or Puca's Mischief deck. Sounds fun
You could also use Bajuka bog
or maybe Ashiok Dream Render at 3usd :D
Favorite Jank combo:
Decree of Silence + Solemnity
Counter every spell, forever.
Boseiju
That's not even jank that's just broken XD
@@Tittilover dang, that's a good card in general for mono or two colored decks.

Quest for the jank-combo
Four dudes, out of cash // and addicted to cardboard-crack...
Knowledge Pool/Omen Machine + Lavinia, Azorius Renegade
Opponents spells are countered for the rest of the game.
or use Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir to just make them unable to cast anything even if is uncounterable
Boseiju
That's not jank to me if Lavinia is the commander.
This one was featured in this channel on the Lavinia Deck Tech! A super scary combo.
Enchanted Evening and Calming Verse combo should be retitled "DEATH: PRESENTED BY REBECCA GUAY"
Guay Day
How to throw the social contract out the window and save money while doing it.
• Felidar Guardian $ 0.67
• Mirage Mirror $ 1.86
• Mirror March $ 0.36
You put Mirror March and Mirage Mirror on the battlefield (mir-mir copying mir-mar).
Mitch, you just gave Worst Fears the Commander's Quarters kiss of death. Nobody knew about this card before now, you monster!
Great 3 card combo - Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth; Ethereal Absolution & Kormus Bell.
the first combo is the wincon of my cEDH hahaha
Haha nice!
I dont know how much more effective this is but a buddy of mine gave me a strat better than phage, use a creature named Leveler. Its only 5 colorless for a 10/10 that forces you to exile your library when it enters but its a cheaper combo than phage and all you need to do is pass the turn after you fractured identity it
@@joenuts2911 yeah, works too, but it's not as good hahaha
My favorite combo has always been as follows;
First, have Bruniclad and Oviya Pashiri (I might have spelled that wrong lol) on the field.
Awesome!
Fractured Identity targeting your own Alms Collector + Consecrated Sphinx. Draw ever player out of the game. Win with Lab Man. #JankierThanJank
I'm definitely calling him "Lab Man" from now on."
A 2 card combo is not "janky" unless both cards have ridiculously high casting costs.
Yes! Tainted Beacon is one of my favorite combos, I built an entire Zur the Enchanter deck based around it
Happy to see a combo strat video! :) Hope you'll do more in the future.
My favorite jank combo? Play Serra Avatar and Fling it at someone. They probably just died.
That Phyrexian Unlife combo is hilarious! 😂
I have a Selenia EDH deck that runs this. Also Angel's Grace + Near Death Experience but my favorite is tainted sigil + vizkopa guildmage + selenia
I run solemnity + decree of silence in my sen deck. Phyrexian unlife is icing on the cake for it
These are pretty cool. I used to run a Bronze Bombshell/Endless Whispers combo, but simply ran Death Cloud as a way to not only sacrifice my Bombshell, but just deal massive amounts of damage with multiple Bombshells *note, we didn't play commander back in the day so these were just casual games*
Those land deletion combos are PURE EVIL.
Rakdos approves of Mitch's vantond lust for land destruction.
Enchanted Evening + Aura Theif and sac outlet. I run that in my Zur the Enchanter deck
This is just a minor criticism, I do love the content and the way the channel spotlights cards and combos a lot of people don’t know about (like Splinter!) but do you guys think you could slow down speaking? Sometimes I have to rewind to figure out what was said and I’m not hard of hearing or anything.
Tons of awesome combos in here and I'm currently building a deck that's based on using jank combos! this video is a gold mine!
So I know the video is older but still I wanted to comment the jankiest combo I ever played. It consists of "Knacksaw Clique" "paradise mantle" and "Training Grounds" so you can completly exile all opponents libaries and play all of the cards exiled until end of turn. Hope anyone enjoys this as much as I did.
what makes the enchanted evening combo even better is the 2 cards are both art by rebecca guay
Woah, that art for Mischievous Poltergeist is trippy...pretty cool
I love Tainted Remedy. That plus a Jorubai Murk Lurker is a really fun way to ensure no one wants to attack you.
Me: *plays enchanted evening.*
Still me: *also plays starfield of nyx.*
My lands: "Aight, I'ma head out."
Also me: *surprised Pikachu face*
My go to jank combo is Bolas's Citadel + Aetherflux Resevoir + Mana Severance. With the Citadel and Reservoir on the field, cast mana severance to exile all your lands in your library. Then you have to to cast about 20 spells from your deck with the Citadel to gain enough life (about 200 or so) from the reservoir to shoot the table.
It's janky since you need legal targets for all your spells but super satisfying if you pull it off.
I won with Enchanted Evening and Calming verse tonight in my FNM...then saw it here...made me happy, thanks Mitch!
I think nothing beats giving Mairsil, the Pretender loyalty abilities.
Nice new intro!
how and why
Neth
_How?_
There are at least 2 ways. One is Mairsil exiling Quicksilver Elemental. Also Mycosynth Lattice, March of the Machines, and any planeswalker on the battlefield.
The other? www.reddit.com/r/BadMtgCombos/comments/6tgjnp/i_want_to_pretend_to_be_a_mind_sculptor_when_i/
_Why?_
Because we can.
Can your opponents also skip the same number of turns in response so they don't deck themselves
@@Hammerholics That's why you also need Grand Abolisher.
oh yeah, forgot about that part
I think, considering the priority system, that you need an extra card (krosan grip) :
- To hold priority and skip 92+ turns.
- still holdin priority, cast Teferi's Protection
- still hold priority and cast Krosan Grip targetting the lethal vapour.
Else your opponents will be able to skip that many turns in response to Teferi's protection. If they don't realise they should do so... several cases of 'you don't win' may happen.
@@cerulienceruleen6463 You'd probably be better with a black/white card with split-second, but yes, very true.
For my favorite combo you need;
Nekusar, the Mindrazer
Dual casting
Barbed Shocker
Megrim
Diminishing Returns
And, Whispering Madness
Cast the first four in any order, attaching Dual Casting to Nekusar. Then cast Diminishing Returns, making sure Nekusar has been out for one full turn already since he doesn't have haste. After that, cast Whispering Madness, activating Dual Casting on Nekusar to copy Whispering Madness, and then Cipher both copies of Whispering Madness to Barbed Shocker. Then attack with Barbed Shocker, and as long as they block it, Barbed Shocker will cause them to cycle through their hand three time once again. This will cause one player to take 42 damage from Nekusar and the rest of your opponents to take 35 damage from Nekusar. Plus Megrim will also trigger when they discard, so one player will take at least 70 damage, and the rest of your opponents will take at least 56 damage. This combo can be even more powerful with the cards;
Spark Double (making a copy of Nekusar)
Mirrormade (making a copy of Dual Casting, and putting it on the copy of Nekusar, so you can copy Whispering Madness twice)
Dictate of th Twin Gods
Raiders' Wake
Fell Specter
And, Phyresis (on Nekusar)
Note getting this combo in its complete form is really hard to pull off, but it works pretty well incomplete as well, as long as you have the right cards.
(If you want to be nasty, throw in an It That Betrays or something, but leave me out of it okay?)
I never said it was a good combo, but boy would it be funny to assemble it and watch as your opponents frown in disbelief over the fact that you spent like 3-4 tutors setting this up
I recently learned about overburden.... Put it in my pheldigriph deck that was based off yours and made my own over time.
The best thing about the enchanted evening and calming verse combo is that it fits in rebecca guay tribal
You give your opponents infinite turns (that you control)
Emrakul promised end, temur sabertooth, any creature flash enabler, seedborn muse, and enough land mana to both cast and bounce emrakul (max 15, min 8)
I could've watched 1000 of these. THIS is what commander is about.
Arcbond, some way to copy it, two indestructible creatures (maybe use a Boros Charm), one of which has lifelink.
My favorite jank combo: Final Fortune imprinted on Isochron Scepter + Sundial of the Infinite= infinite turns!
Also, Grenzo, Dungeon Warden + Timestream Navigator (need the city's blessing)= infinite turns
Also, Locust God + Fecundity + Sac outlet = Draw your deck
Parallax wave + opalescent/star field of nyx : exile a creature using the wave’s ability, respond to it by using the wave’s ability to target itself. When both abilities resolve, the creature will remain in exile. Can also combo with oblivion ring to exile all non-land permanents.
Alternative title: The best ways to destroy all the lands
Lilliana of the dark realms has a -6 ability that gives you an emblem reading "swamps you control have (tap) add bbbb to your manapool"
Combine this with urborg and all lands you control can tap for four black.
Have constrictor in play with another like 1/1, sac the 1/1 to spawning pit, before you sac it tap for mana
With Winding Constrictors static, it puts two counters on it instead, use the 1 floating mana and have a blood artist in play too.
4:30 I saw someone do Enchanted Evening -> Flash + Aura Thief that was nifty.
Crypt Ghast, Frantic Search, Eternal Witness, Chainar Dementia Master, Ashnod's Alter, Panharmonicon, Gray Merchant, Bayou/Overgrown Tomb, Sunken Hollow/Underground sea/watery Grave, Swamp.
I managed to pull my janky combo off once:
An indestructible creature (Hazoret in my case), Pariah's Shield, and Arcbond.
My favorite jank combo is Carpet of Flowers and Mind Bend. You can ramp on any type of basic land, not just Islands.
Natural Affinity + Elesh Norn
Mycosynth Lattice + Hellkite Tyrant
Sundering Titan + Soulherder
Neheb, The Eternal + Aggravated Assault
Some of these are pricy, but they're awesome to see work.
Price of glory + war's toll + fade away
Dismiss into dream + shoving match/gigadrowse
Hive mind + final fortune + sundial of the infinite
My favorite "combo" is Archaeomancer plus Saheeli's Artistry to keep copying a creature or mana rock or getting 1 instant or sorcery a cast
