In this episode of our Ski season vlog we take you through a typical day in the life of chalet hosts, everything from cooking to cleaning and a little bit of boarding and skiing in the middle.
We had some amazing guests from the South-West of England stay with us in the chalet and thought it would be the perfect opportunity to give an insight into a typical chalet hosts day, big ups to the lovley guests for letting us film.
We've spent the winter working in a beautiful chalet located in Samoens, in the Grand Massif, the experience has been amazing. Be sure to give us a big thumbs up and a subscribe if you'd like to see more of our adventures!

Love the video man, very informative while being super fun too. Making me very envious - been my dream to do this for years. Looks like hard work but as you say very much balanced by all the opportunities to ski/board. Love the little bits of humour too… “make friends with a skier to help you outta that shitty situation…” 🤣 made me laugh.

My fiance and I were thinking of doing a season as chalet hosts. after watching you guys we are definitely doing it haha. Looks like a lot of fun and the job is better than sitting at the office 👍🏻

This looks so great! My parter and I are thinking of doing a season this coming winter, so were watching some personal experiences and came across yours! Eden is so damn good a cooking though, I'm scared we wont be able to come up with fancy meals like that !! Did y'all pre-plan the meals or do they tell you what to cook?
Thanks for the kind words mate! Means a lot to share our experiences and have other gain something from it. We got to meal plan with the owners of the chalet and they pride themselves on the food so naturally, Eden being an amazing cook she felt right at home creating some beautiful food!

Awesome stuff!! You should totally do it!! We went through directly to the chalet owners and got the job it’s an easy process and as for the visa it’s a pretty simple process too!! Good luck and thanks for watching 😀😀
Is it easy enough to get a job being a chalet couple? Neither of us are great cooks tbh or have ever worked in catering although my girlfriend has worked in restaurants/ bars as a waitress. I also have a qualification in customer service and am a professional driver...
Yea mate absolutely! Lots of jobs going as chalet hosts in Europe especially. This qualifications would be a handy assets to have my man! As long as you’re chatty, smiling and willing to help guests, you’ll be right 👍👍
