What do you need for 400 bhp corsa vxr? Make sure you got spare money and couple engines in reserve because you will swap them quite often on 400 bhp vauxhall 😂😂
I just got a vxr corsa nurbergri, had it for abit 2 weeks now and i love but i wanna know how common the p4 problem is on the nurbergring compared to the standard vxr?
About the same as the normal one either keep it stock power or updated injectors if you map it and always let it heat up and cool down you will be fine
So let me understand this... the standard valves that was used while running big power was the failing point on it, causing it to shit itself?? , then hes getting you guys to do a quality rebuild but isnt taking your professional advice to put uprated valves in this time round even tho its still gonna be running 400+bhp and rev upto 8.5k,?? Is he not just setting himself or who ever he sells it to up for another engine that will just shit its self? Why spend whats gotta be £3k-£6k when alls done but not spend £600 quid on a decent piper or supertech valve kit... Seems mad not to take the experts advice on something when they're the ppl your trusting to know what's best on the overall rebuild??

Hi can you please tell me I have a little knocking coming from my engine it sound like the tapets but not sure would it worth getting the the engine done or buy a new one and what price am I looking at for a forge engine or a rebuild. I do live I ireland and there isn't much help for these over hear and as good has your advice cheers.
the injectors on these engines can be noisey but if the clearences are out on the head this can make them tappy too, so it's hard to say what the problem is without seeing the car
@@RustyAutos need a clutch and front mian seal doing on my coupe how much would you charge? has to be organic clutch to replace my current paddle not a fan of clutch chatter you get with paddle
Engine definitely won't last long, it will blow up at some point anyway. 400 bhp for 1.6 corsa vxr engine is too much 😂. Even astra vxr 2 litre won't last long with 400 bhp . Everybody already knows about reliability of Vauxhall engines and gearboxes 😂😂😂😂 - chocolate made
Mine gsi has had 6000miles of abuse at 482bhp 🤔 what the problem is people that own vauxhalls done actually looks after them and fit the cheapest parts they can
@@callumt2115 I agree I had mine nearly 4 years it was forged by rustys it was running 300 bhp at the end . never had a problem whatsoever one of the best cars I've had always serviced early with miller's nano drive magnetic sump plug vauxhall filter , clean air filter etc
@@mrvoorhees2627 done mine myself bud. Even drove it to the nurburgring done laps of that and drove it home. Just the same old people jumping on the i hate Vauxhall band wagon, omit the m32 gearbox it shit but the 5speed f23 is bullet proof and made by get rag

It wouldnt work, ideally a map needs to be done per car as everyone runs different, you need data logs on your car doing first

Its not the best way to do it, ideally you need each indiviual car mapped as they all run different

How big is the turbo lag? My buddy has a corsa e VXR with 333hp and the turbo kicks in at 3500 rpm...
It depends on the setup, if there getting turbo lay a hybrid turbo can help with that

We use to make them to replace the pillar pod, but the company who did them for us closed down
