I also found a different method if you don't have the micro sd adapter for a PC! You 1st format your new PSP memory stick to the psp. Then, u put ur old memory stick back in, and then you copy the files to your computer from the psp. Then, you can put that new memory stick back in ur psp and paste the copied data to your new memory card! It worked for me.

What If you move the files to the PC first off the old then format the new one ? Would it still work the same?

does ur old memory card’s game progress etc. still transfer over to the new card?
You could also compress the files into a rar or zip file and move it to the other drive then just extract it.
*Just remember to backup first!*
Since the time doesn't always depend on the file size but the amount of items so if you make it rar/zip it becomes one item that you can easily move and extract.
Could you do a similar video for the Vita? I want to upgrade my jailbroken Vita's SD card, but I don't know if I have to do anything special in order to keep the Vita jailbroken/keep my files and saves

I have 6.61 infinity pro c. If I remove the memory card will the cfw still be there? I removed the battery and it still has cfw. But I don't want to brick if I remove the SD card.
I might need to do this. 4GB is just too small. If I don't have an SD card adapter couldn't I just plug my PSP into my computer? I could access the files that way.
yes you can just plug it into the computer
Can I do this without the USB cable (I've lost it), by copying the original card on the computer and then copying the files onto the other card?

Is there a way to repair the memory stick storage slot? I messed mine up replacing the analog stick and had a Photofast Memory Stick Duo Adapter (2x 64gb micro), which got damaged. I also had Infinity CFW. If I manage to get another Photofast, can I back up to a 128gb micro sd and a single adapter, like your last video? Photofast is rubbish. Will be my 3rd replacement.
Hi James, I found my PSP 3000 but I discover that it has not inserted the memory stick of 8GB that it had before, the console has cfw for 6.61
.
On my PC I have a folder with a "FastRecovery" in eboot.pbp, if I format my new memory stick and I put that file in PSP / GAME / FastReco. would recognize it? ? or would it just cause me a brick?
Or in any case ... could I format my PSP and then reinstall a CFW?
