Who else watched them ALL in order, from 1978 till now ? Gotta say nothing beats the very first one for me. It caught such an eeriness I haven’t seen in a lot of horrors ( maybe Texas chainsaw 1974 ). The 30 minutes of pure stalking till the climax at the end of the movie was just brilliant and will always be Halloween peak for me.

it looks pretty good. if you look at the newest installments for what they are, they do a decent job in some respects. almost every single character that gets killed has a backstory, which made it pretty entertaining.

It makes zero sense that in Halloween 2018 Michael is strong enough to use a mans head to break open a door, strangle a woman with her feet off the ground, and in Halloween Kills snapping a teenage boys neck like a twig, but now... he can't even manhandle a 103 year old Jamie Lee Curtis.
If this really is the final installment for the Halloween series (which I actually believe that it really is), then it needs to close out with Michael Myers pulling off his face mask, finally showing his face to the world, and finally opening his mouth and actually talking at the very end.
If they ever remake another, they should scrap Halloween 6 and continue with Jamie Lloyd and give her a proper badass final girl ending. She deserves it since her childhood was taken from her and she gets revenge for Rachel, Wendy and both her mothers (Laurie nd Mrs. Carruthers)
