What helped with my acne on my back was a hot shower that opened the pores and with a spinning brush and normal bar of soap like dove properly cleaning my back and then cold water at the end on my back to close my pores ❤️

    • @delinquentjon3446

drama tea folliculitus isn’t necessarily something u can get rid of.... Having an infectious outbreak is one thing. But, as I have, many are going to have to get used to the symptoms leading up to an outbreak....
Go to a dermatologist and stop trying to “do it yourself” This whole thing is more of a condition than an infection.
I can’t tell u how deal with ur skin, but for me.... I can’t shave with regular razor blades.
I keep my skin dry and sebum down using either a salicyclic acid or benzoyl peroxide body wash. Nizoral shampoo a couple times a month(careful with ketaconazole it can fry ur hair) alternating with regular shampoo.
Witch hazel astringent applied after showers and an oil free moisturizer/lotion as needed.
Scalpicin hydrocortisone for discomfort on irritated/inflamed areas.
Some other things to note: probably eating healthier less greasy foods is gonna help, sweating/opening ur pores, drinking lots of water and showering often.
      Be well!

I've been struggling with those little things on my forehead for about six month now, I've been using acne treatments but none of them have worked, so I'm going to try the shampoo and I'll be updating by editing this comment to see the process and evolution of my skin :)
-12/5/20 I just ordered it from Amazon!
-17/5/20 It just came! I'm trying it out rn and it feels like it's doing something on my skin like an itch but very very gentle:)
I just washed it off and I'm very happy with the results, ofc I still have texture on my forehead but it looks better and it feels a lot softer, I will update after a week using it :)
-4/6/2020 Sorry it's been so long since my last update but I forgot :( So now that I've been using it for around 3 weeks my skin is much better ! One thing I have to mention is that if you have dry spots on your face do not apply the product there because It will dry your skin too much, also be careful and don't leave it for more than ten minutes :)
Right now I have some tiny bumbs that turned into pimples so yeah, listen to her and do NOT squeeze the tiny little bumbs because it'll make them a lot worse :)
    -4/7/20
Well it's been a month since I last updated, I' m happy to say that my skin is now like a 95% clear the tiny bumbs went away almost completely they are not visible anymore and when you touch my forehead you can't even feel the texture. Also my forehead is not itchy anymore :) I was very lucky and Amazon sent me another bottle of the shampoo by mistake so I just had to buy one! When I first started with this treatment I used the shampoo every day but that dried my skin too much so I would recommend using it 4 times a week or so, once my skin started to clear up I would use it once a week or so, now I actually don't use it anymore because I always forget but I recommend using it at least one every 2 weeks.
Also if your bumbs turn into pimples PLEASE use raw aloe Vera, it works wonders

So very helpful, thank you! I've been having this issue now, of Pityrosporum (Malassezia) Folliculitis for a duration of 2 years now, and have heard people with unfortunate cases of scalp folliculitis for 10 years, and other people with even longer - It's terribly existent, and I believe a huge issue is because of antibiotics. Whether topical, or oral, antibiotics, it's weakening our skin's microbiome, and immunity systems. Therefore weakening our skin. And any sebum, natural oils are where there'd be the breakout.
Any DIY excessive oil treatments, are being killer for our skin -- allows it to thrive in oil! *So that's to be avoided.
Nonetheless lol I have lots of faith that it'd be able to heal up. My skin is dry + sensitive, and I've looked just now at products such as, Terrasil Antibacterial Skin Repair 3x Faster Ointment, and Almond Clear Face & Body Wash (maybe one you should check out too!

Then I saw a video about fungus overgrowth in the body and the fungal acne And I think it makes sense. I only started having this type of pimples after take multiple courses of antibiotics. The lady in the video said we should follow a candida diet and take so much probiotic in order to get the balance back into the body. This is my last hope and I have faith that this will eventually work. ( I spent close to 300$+ on probiotics and anti fungal supplements and they said the healing take multiple months)

Almost 50. I've had good skin most of my life with a few pimply times. 3 years ago I started getting itchy reddish bumpy splotches on my face. Not pimples. They weren't full of anything. I thought it was dry skin. It was on my cheeks, mostly. After much online research I discovered my issue was fungal acne. Nizoral dandruff shampoo worked very well. Apply a thin layer to clean face & let it sit for about 5 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. I try not to put hot water on my face. I am around steam at my job and have noticed that that does aggravate my issue.
I also started using athletes foot cream on my spots. Gross I know but, now that it's working, I have no problem using it. If Preperation H worked for fungus, I'd use that too. Don't get me wrong it's GREAT for wrinkles but, not for face fungus. Haha. I also started using wheat germ oil (antibacterial, antifungal, etc) mixed with 2 drops of Squalane oil as my moisturizer & my face hasn't looked this clear in years.
I also spent $35 on a jar of Manuka honey. Honey in general, Manuka or not, is an anti fungal & much much more. Apply to skin and let it sit there for 10 minutes. Eating honey is very good for you, too. Lick or rinse off & then apply moisturizer. I've never had a moisturizing routine & sometimes I don't wanna spend 3 lousy seconds smearing something good on my face but, my face looks better when I keep up on it. Good luck.

Oh yeah and....for some reason vitamin E oil once a week helps my face issue. I add a couple drops of E with a couple drops of squalane oil & a couple of BIG drops wheat germ oil as a moisturizer. It works for me.

For anyone else struggling with fungal acne on their back, I’ve had fungal acne on my back ever since I was 12! I’m 19 now and just a few months ago I started using FineVine anti fungal tea tree body wash (bought from amazon). I used one of those loofas attached to a stick so you could scrub your back and my bacne cleared right up. After having it for all those years!!

I can't tell you how happy I am to come across videos like yours. I have suffered from acne ever since I started puberty but last year December is when I actually decided to do something about my face. My face had started looking so much better while I was on my skin care products (Curiosin and Duac), I thought I was going to have beautiful skin in a mere matter of months. Then I stupidly bought these cheap makeup wipes from a Chinese store. It was then my skin had been on freak out mode, products that had helped before did NOTHING just as your products didn't. It was then I learned of the horror that is fungal acne, I am pretty sure I had it a few years ago on my forehead after a waxing session but it went away and I didn't remember having the skin issues. I have it all over my face this time and I feel incredibly bitter at this massive set back. Hyperpigmentation overdrive, areas on my skin that were clearing up are covered in the tiny bumps from hell. I am going to purchase Nizoral. I just want to wear makeup at least without these damn bumps proudly shining through. Thanks for your video!! :D

And when I tried to squeeze one it got super inflamed and big. I never thought it could me fungal acne. I stopped taking my hormonal birth control and switched up my skincare (stopped using my apricot cleansing oil and switch to a less drying gel cleanser and got the cerave moisturizer. Also i felt like glycolic acid helped a lot) still have some pimples but its so muuch better!

You’re so spot on with this video and It’s so refreshing seeing fungal acne a topic of discussion. I had no idea it existed until last year when I experienced it. Luckily Nizoral (shampoo 1%)worked for me and my FA is finally gone! Treating it topically works wonders however I have to add that treating our insides are just as important. It can come back so Changing my diet kept me clear as well. I was on a “Candida Diet” and it was sooooooo hard to stay on it. Having clear skin kept me on track though. We have to be mindful of what type of oil our foods are fried in and STAY AWAY from yeasty foods and sugar. When I find the link for “Food to avoid” while struggling with MF I will insert it. It SAVED my skin 😭😭😭😭

So I’ve just bought this and ima use it for a month and come back!
Day 1- so far it’s doesn’t make a noticeable difference but I see that my skin is smoother
    ...
Day 3: well my skin is noticeably smooth and my makeup applies much better. It had the greatest effect on my cheeks because I had those little spots there. My forehead is still pretty congested but I knew that my forehead would take longer
Day 4: I got hives because of my new bb cream :(. However I added an oil and that got rid of that. I’m still using the shampoo and it’s working wonders on my cheeks still!
    ....
Day 7- so I’ve been using this full time for about 4 days and then on and off for the rest. It really worked at the beginning but now I think it’s slowed down a bit. There’s definitely a difference however the spots are starting to come and go. But I think this is to due to allergies I get! Overall great product and would recommend!

I used to try to go get facial treatments at least once a year. I always had a good experience but the last time I went (about two years ago) the woman who did my facial said I had fungal acne, I asked her what caused it so I can know what to avoid etc and she said “google it”. I then asked how I could treat it and again she just replied with “google it”. I left the place and I was in a bit of a funk because I felt embarrassed, I never went back to her because I didn’t like her attitude that day. I got this video in my suggested, I watched it and I ended up ordering the items you talked about, it’s been about 3 days and I already see them getting dull. I’ve never had acne on my forehead and my face is pretty clear for the most part but I did have a few “pimples” along my jawline and those were the ones that wouldn’t go away no matter what I used or the facial treatments I got, they itched etc and had them for about 2/3yrs. In the 3days I’ve been doing the treatment I’ve already seen a difference ☺️

Every time i take an antibiotic i get the most horrible thrush within 24 hours which apparently means i have a yeast problem. I cant wait to do this!! the fungus doest recognise mineral oils. Use those, dont use natural oils unless you really know your oils. use -zoles, like ketoconazole or clotrimazole topically. Initially every night for a week for the shampoo, twice a day for creme for up to 2 weeks, then 2-3 nights a week for the shampoo, and maintanence once a week when the bumps are gone. Its often recurring though, so keep up the maintenance. Dr. Dray has several videos on this topic.

Thank you. Melasszia is also a problem dogs get. I have searched a bunch and none of the Vet talks mentioned it feeds off of long-chain fatty acids. It’s generalized as yeast, so many recommend a sugar free diet, but fall short of recommending discontinuing treatments including fatty acids like coconut oil. I use coconut oil for so many things. C-12 Lauric is great as a disinfectant but in this case a food for a whole other creature. I was using coconut oil as a carrier for essential oils and realize I was feeding the problem. Great job discovering this and sharing. Perhaps some of the pet channels should get up to date and get the word out too.

When you said you squeezed them and hard sebum came out, did they look like little seeds, similar to sesame seeds? Mine usually have a tiny hair growing out of the narrow end. That’s what I have on my back/chest, and occasionally on my face. I’m not sure if they’re itchy though because I use a lot of salicylic acid and benzol peroxide products that make my skin dry and itchy anyways. It’s so frustrating that I use so many acne products, but these bumps don’t go away and haven’t gone away for almost 10 years.

ummul khair oof, nooooo. Tea trea oil is an essential oil, which need to be diluted especially if pure. It can burn skin! If it has other additives then that’s a bit safer. I’ve already experienced burns on my face from trying tea tree oil :(
