Thank you very much for this. I just collected my AWD Seal 3 days ago this car is incredible beyond all expectations. Here in Morocco the version of the infontainement is 1.0 I didnt find any way to keep back headlights always on as the car in black colour appears a little too agressive when arrier leds are off. Thank you very much for your help.
Another great video, hanks for that! Would you be able to confirm if these safety settings remain disabled? I heard that some come back on and you have to re-do them every time?
There is a Spotify app imbedded into the infotainment system. You log on with your account and it remembers what track was playing the last time you were in the car. It is the fastest way to get music playing. After the infotainment screen has loaded, you can play your own music from your phone over Bluetooth, wireless connect your phone to android Auto or Apple car play and use any music apps you have. You can also load music from the SD card that is used for the Dash Cam. BYD has added a few apps over the year I have owned the car, like RUclips and a browser, but these 2 only work when the car is stationary.
Here in Thailand all the cables are present, but for some reason the cameras are not fitted. People have been importing genuine BYD cameras and selling them for ฿2,000 $56. I bought a camera and an SD card which fits in a slot by the front USBs and then you can manage your dashcam videos via the infotainment system
@@ItsJonesy777Australian models have the cameras but the software isn’t set up for it unfortunately. Would prefer that before any other additions like Netflix
@@Clove_Parma from all reports, there is no dashcam included in the Seal likewise with the recently released Dolphin. 360 cameras are included, if that’s what you’re referring to?
Thanks for this, I'm considering strongly a Seal in Australia in a month or so. Could you do a video on the driving assist vision or whatever they use while on the road? I'd like to see how compares to the tech of the Tesla. Does it have a car on your dash and shows other cars or hazards etc ? Or is that just a Tesla thing. Appreciate it!
The Tesla will beat the BYD on driving assistance software. I like the blind spot notifications on the Seal which come up very clearly on the mirrors and on the HeadsUp Display - I don’t want anything else, want to drive myself. You can have 360 degree cameras running as you drive. If driving assistance is top of your requirements buy a Tesla, but I would recommend test driving a performance Seal if you can - fantastic drivers car.
@@EcoHouseThailand Definitely not top of requirements, just cool to see at times while driving and thank you for the swift response!
