Never met a player with such humbleness and humility, for 33 yrs I've been a loyal Redskins fan and Darrell was one of the reasons I stayed so loyal, he poured his heart and soul into the game and his faith, he was a leader for our team and the younger players, and what was best is he didn't leave due to injury or illness but simply retired with honor when The Lord told him it was time! Best corner back in the entire Redskins nearly 88 yrs of history!
For your information he did race Deion Sanders back when Deion was a rookie it kills me that nobody ever mentions it in this day and age it was on ABC's Wide World of Sports Darrell beat Deion Handily. As a matter of fact Deion came in third. Second place went to Phillip Epps of the Green Bay Packers

My all time favorite player. Easily the best, classiest and most humble. All speed and ❤. Players like him don't exist anymore.
