1:28 lol fastest guy, 1:42 that is true sometimes, though father time usually wins like the house. Fun to see him defy those norms/aging.
4:00 timing, good interview, but yes lapse for a bad moment or play possum when they're not in the qb's line of sight and get back in the way.

I’ll never forget his play. I remember his first Monday night game as a rookie when he ran down Tony Dorsett, who had broken loose and had a 12 yard head start on Darrell, but here comes this rookie who no one had heard of, streaming into the picture, running down Dorsett and saving the TD by bringing him down from behind.
The whole world was introduced to Green that night and he would go on to finish a Hall Od Fame career as one of the best cover corners in the game with many more epic plays, including the punt return for the winning TD in the divisional playoffs against the favored Bears in Chicago. The fact that he vaulted one tackler and then tore a rib cartilage making an immediate 90° inhuman cut, made it that much more spectacular. Darrell Green is a legend.

Close your eyes for a sec at full sprint and just move faster and see what happens. It works to this day. 4.8s at 45yo. I'm 5"8.

Darryl Green set records that will never be broken. 19 straight seasons with an interception. 20 years with the SAME team! He sometimes took pay cuts to help keep the players from the good years together. I thought Tom Brady might break the 20 year same team record, then he went to Tampa. So he tied it but didn't break it.

I agree that Darrell Green was faster but im a tell you something Deion Sanders is the only guy i seen Darrell Green continuously give a ten yard cushion too (this is when prime was with the cowboys playing receiver). DG played man to man on joey galloway and Randy Moss of all people non stop. Now deions last 2 years with the Cowboys and that one year with Washington He had that bad toe which slowed him down alot if it wasn't for that then im sure at Washington they would've raced it out 🤷🏾

As a long-time fan of the New York Giants I often said this guy was the one player I'd love to draft off an opposing team's roster to play for my team. Not Joe Montana, not Jerry Rice, not Mike Singletary, not Reggie White, not Barry Sanders ... but Darrell Green. One of the great things about rooting for an NFC East rival was that I got to see DG play twice every season -- and often three times!
