I worked in Clip Studio for a long time in Animation, here’s a couple of things!
If you want to easily Copy+Paste parts of your drawing, I’d HIGHLY RECOMMEND always using groups/folders for your frames!! Instead of merging your layers outside of the animation folder.
The fill/paint bucket tool also has a “Close Gap” setting where you can fill colors, even with gaps in your lines.
I really like using Clip Studio for animation because I’m very used it as I use it for illustrations as well. It’s not too robust in animation and hope they add essential features in the future, like the scrubbing you mentioned!
Last thing I wanna say is that the max pixel height for exporting a gif is 2000px and the max height for making a movie is 1080px. That’s why I’m trying Harmony more and to play with audio more!
EDIT: Also what is really helpful is that Animation Folders can Clip onto other layers and folders. This is really helpful when you want to add shadows to your colors.

Love the way it is divided by small segments so a person can go to a segment they want to learn. Easy to understand and communicated well........The only problem is my brain trying to soak up that knowledge. I'm getting it though and hopefully the whole thing will click into place.
