I dont know how to describe it but I think many will agree when I say that the way this guy convey the information keeps you tuned in and interested; perfect pace, right to the point, no irrelevant distracting side-talks; I love it so much, ty for making this video, I definitely subscribed.
Thank you so much for the kinds words and support!! I'm glad you found it helpful and engaging :D
Seriously though! Like, this is the first one I've been able to keep up with!
Totally 😭💯💖💖💖💖
Well said! Absolutely right
I worked in Clip Studio for a long time in Animation, here’s a couple of things!
If you want to easily Copy+Paste parts of your drawing, I’d HIGHLY RECOMMEND always using groups/folders for your frames!! Instead of merging your layers outside of the animation folder.
The fill/paint bucket tool also has a “Close Gap” setting where you can fill colors, even with gaps in your lines.
I really like using Clip Studio for animation because I’m very used it as I use it for illustrations as well. It’s not too robust in animation and hope they add essential features in the future, like the scrubbing you mentioned!
Last thing I wanna say is that the max pixel height for exporting a gif is 2000px and the max height for making a movie is 1080px. That’s why I’m trying Harmony more and to play with audio more!
EDIT: Also what is really helpful is that Animation Folders can Clip onto other layers and folders. This is really helpful when you want to add shadows to your colors.
Thank you so much for the tips!!! I hope others find these helpful as well, thank you for sharing! :D
So can we merge the group inside group animation ?
Perfect tutorial, no wasted time, no unnecessary anecdotes, clean, well explained, chefs kiss!
Literally the only tutorial that worked for me and that I can listen to without pulling my hair out
Thanks dude ❤️
tell me about it!
Been wanting to learn this software for a year now. Never really understood it and all youtube video tutorial i tried to watch were so difficult to understand, so i didn't even bother. yours i undertand and i am actually following you step by step. thanks man.
So glad it was helpful! ^^
my god, I've watched and read various tutorials on how to animate in CSP but only yours has made a lick of sense. clear, concise and no action not explained.
trying to just jump into this program after using Adobe animate for years felt like trying to read a foreign language. Genuinely appreciate this video.
So glad to hear it was helpful for you! :)
I've been looking for a tutorial on how to properly copy paste into an animation layer for a while now and you covered it at 8:42. Thanks you so much !
I love how friendly and energetic you sound, even though I was suffering from lack of sleep, I was focused in and was finding this highly enjoyable! Thank you very much!
I love your tutorials, thanks to you now I can make animations
So glad they're helpful ^^
this is the best tutorial for Clip Studio animation
Just got my Wacom Intuos as a beginner & this software. I've been wanting to try animation since I was little & today I can finally try. Thank you for the tutorial & let begin this journey
I have watched so many animation tutorial videos, and watching this one, i finally understand it better! so many people make videos assuming we know all the terms they use and know exactly where certain settings are. You explain it very well, and really asnwer the questions all of us complete begginers have, THANK YOU!!
So glad it was helpful! :)
every time i forget something about how to use the toon boom i go back to your vids to remember (i do that quite a lot) love watching the pikachu weekly
Haha, that's great! XD
You saved me with this one, man! Straightforward and evenly paced, the camera tutorial got me so excited to try out and experiment. Animating on CSP is way less daunting than before, thanks to you!
I've been searching and seems like this is the best tutorial I've watched so far.. It's easy to follow and understand, thank you for this!! You're a lifesaver!!
Excellent Video! Pure information, pure meat, no fluff. I keep going over this video again and again! Love the way it is divided by small segments so a person can go to a segment they want to learn. Easy to understand and communicated well........The only problem is my brain trying to soak up that knowledge. I'm getting it though and hopefully the whole thing will click into place. Thank you very much Jesse!
I've done several animations in CSP over the past year, but this REALLY helped me a lot. Thanks for making it.
Yesse, blessing us with his tutorials, as always. 💜
Of the dozens and dozen of vids this one had the clearest explanation and smoothest presentation 👏
Great video! Thanks for helping me get started! Btw - "close gap" in tool properties for the fill tool helps a lot with lines that aren't touching and it's adjustable. :)
Thank you very much, I recently tried to launch a short animation and I had difficulties understanding clip studio interface
It helped me a lot and surprisingly I didn't feel any boredom :>
So glad to hear it was helpful! :)

Thank you for the kind words ^^ glad it was helpful!!
AFTER A WEEK LOOKING FOR THIS, finally here u are. But still, I cant see myself learning so many steps for something that simple: bouncing a ball. The software is not that intuitive, its very mechanical, and old fashion. A great tool to paint, and illustrate, is my main software for that, but here I am trying to animate for the first time, and I'm Lost LOL Thanks anyway!
I agree, the way the timeline works is not that intuitive. If you'd be interested, I'd definitely recommend checking out my tutorial on Krita, I like animating in it way more, and it's free! :D ruclips.net/video/-B3LDBlkFWU/видео.html
@@jessejayjones Sadly, Krita is a bumpy software that never worked for me. I tried in the past, but had problems with the brushes. They are great, but so bumpy, jittery in straight lines. Thats how I got into CSP. Ill keep looking for the ONE, thanks for u quick reply!
Haha, no worries! Good luck in your search! :D
I can really say that you struggled figuring out the menus, cause your tutorial IS FOR REAL REALLY HELPFUL. helped me alot. super. thank you so much
So glad it was helpful! 😁
I always thumbs up animaiton tutorials, good job :)
Thank you for the support! :)
I usually HATE listening to videos, but you have the perfect pacing! Now I just need to figure out how to do some of this stuff ( like copying layers ) on the iPad version lol
Thank you so much
man your tutuorial was the simplest one
thnks
Glad to hear it!
