As an american who grew up in the northern midwest, I've found it's easy to sense when someone is Canadian right away because they're missing a touch of insanity. In other words, they seem level headed and down to earth, nothing is 'off' about them. It's weird to see Americans objectively like that because I am one, but it's easier to notice after observing Canadians. Of course I'm generalizing and that can't be true for all of them but I know nothing about her and only notice her from Avenegers, but once she sat down I was sensing it, quite sure of it. And it happens all the time with interviews and that's the conclusion I came to; you can tell someone is canadian because there is a 'sane air' about them lol.

Have not seen her for many years. Wish I could watch How I meet Your Mother again, but the last episode ruined the show for me. It's like the writers just wanted a twist for the fuck of it regardless of how it would affect the show.
but they filmed the ending practically from the get-go. So they knew exactly where everything was going. It's not like they never showed the mother.

The way the show was written her and Barney were a better pair. It's like the writers had an idea at the start of making the show of her and Ted ending up together, and just ignored what the show became so that they could go with their original ending and made it a lame stupid twist.
They couldn't really change it because the kids had become a lot older so they had filmed their last scenes at the beginning. But I agree the last episode was shit. Don't make a whole season about Robin and Barney's wedding and how perfect they are and then have them divorce as an afterthought. That sucked.

don't blame the writers for what you couldn't see coming. it was obvious that that was gonna happen, from one season before it - S08E20 if I'm not mistaken, the one that there's a lot of time travel in it and at the end, Ted goes to her future wife (the mother)'s apartment...
