2:53, there is one hand pushing from the trunk.. OMG
Magic
And clearly no springs on the struts where they were supposedly fitted either
Came across this vid from a eBay seller using it as fitting instructions hahaa
@ 2:53 can clearly see someone's hand pushing the boot lid open from inside🤣🤣
Hey mate if you use a 3/4” tap washer and put it on before the spring, you won’t have the rattling issue or any noise.
The aim is to use the washer to keep hold the spring to the top end of the strut which is fixed to your boot
For the noise, how about fitting rubber grommets inside the springs, they'll also act as wipers for the struts.
Thanks for your help
2:52 so in the end he replaced the spring with a human hand. anyway thanks for the video for the warnings and cons involved
🤣
On ebay its listen for audi b7 estate. Will it fit the sedan?
Good morning! Can you tell me the Ling about the springs? I have a fiesta mk6.
What is the size of the light load spring?
...probably was -1000°C that's why a handy hand was necessary....probably in the summer might even work a bit better
Just watched this video, not bad only query is if you freeze the video and look at the strut there is NO BLUE SPRING IN SIGHT, why is this .....maybe because its not how it works, you can fit uprated struts that will spring up but sorry mate not sure about this one??????? So you removed the springs, so how does your tailgate open and why is the video still available?/
Where is spring on video opening??
I've personally tried this method and can say it does not work!! Tried two different strength springs and both failed. Plus I don't have anyone in the boot to help push the boot up like the video host has. Ha ha
How you determined the phisical aspect (dimensions) of the spring?
Don't bother, it doesn't work....
struggling to get the pivot bit off even with the rubber pliers and screwdriver
Did you manage to do it?
Spring Size. Out Dia(15mm ~ 20mm) * Inner Dia(9~10mm) * Length(35~40mm) OR HYUNDAI PART NO, 46395-39000 / washers(Rubber) Size. Out Dia(15mm ~ 20mm) * Inner Dia(9~10mm) From Seoul .^^.
Should of just added slight foam to bottom side of spring to stop the horrible noise
Vid actually starts 0:59
where is the bump stops? You shouldn't have installed them all the way at the bottom but at the top
Isn't it dangerous in underground parkings ?
Will this fit a mk7.5 fiesta ?
nope sorry
Focus MK2 also be used?
yes, but I don't recomended it.
Theres no spring on the strut either
Is this accurate?
Watch the full video, I don't recommend it..

Dove comprare le molle
Where can i get the springs
ebay, amazon, banggood
@@DrHannibal009 whats the spring called to type on ebay
@@DilwarHussain-fi7kfits called car trunk die spring mould
It's a shame it's because someone shows that he pushes the trunk with his hands sorry
exactly, just wanted to show why you sholud'n buy
In the end the original struts are still on the car ! NO spring visible at 2.58, what a con !
@AJJ Jurgen probably need new struts and a mate in the boot to give it that extra push, like the guy in the video has.
Can you tell me the dimensions please?
It’s literally in the video
What amazes me is this video is linked from the seller on eBay. Absolutely shocking scam.
3:01
I didnt buy Any, because of the noise warning alone..
These are a scam and as you can see one previous comments you can see someone pushing the boot open
Haha total bollocks, unless the kit comes with the extra human to carry in the boot.... And then throw away the springs that are clearly not even fitted to the struts....
