Why is it that not one person even bothered to think that Airwolf, much less who's flying her, was part of a government program, and for all intent and purpose, Airwolf and her crew doesn't exist - not even on paper.
How could anyone think that? They stole her and hid her in monument valley. They did missions for archangel. Sometimes bad guys stole air wolf and they had to get her back. No one thinks anything after we lost Jan micheal Vincent to alcoholism and later he died. America loved him in that role. They forgave him his failings and loved him until the end.

Hawk "could have/would have/should have" perhaps fired some bullets in front of him and see if he'd stop then and then if not, then just shoot him. But yeah, its Airwolf, and what is Airwolf without a missile or two to give that grandiose explosion at the end :)
The sheriff was committing suicide after realizing the girl got away. She would identify him and he would be disgraced. He wanted to die..
Um......actually he could have simply flown a few feet to the left in front of the sheriff blocking the rifle shots.....then flown away. LOL. Would not have been a very good episode however ;-)
whatelse he could do? the sheriff was killing the young lady police officer, airwolf had to do what it does best !
Rest in peace brilliant show x
This was one of the best episodes of Airwolf Don Bellisario was amazing TV producers his TV show list Black Sheep Squadron, Magnum PI, and of course Airwolf. I love the noise they used for that Hughes 500 sounded like a playing card flapping against bicycle spokes
My favorite episode. Hawke is pissed!
great great t.v. show great actors great great actresses this was a great great show still watching in 2019 and in to the future r.i.p. string fellow hawk and Dom thank you for your for performances on t.v. and in the movies on and off screen .
My personal favorite episode of this iconic series. #Airwolf
Filmed at Desert Center California , 2 hours from Phoenix
I will be going there this September never been to a T V. Movie set before
she is a cuttie.
Don't make me do it. Continues to completely annihilate the entire building.
Caitlin was so determined to find Stringfellow Hawke after he & Dominic left Texas quickly instead of sticking around to answer questions after they defeated a rogue sheriff. though it took her a couple of weeks to see String again.
"Come on Sherriff...don't make me do it...."
Fly high, String.
Danke für die Erinnerung. Habe alle Folgen direkt beim Start auf VHS Kasette gesehen./Thanks for the reminder. I saw all the episodes on VHS tape right at the start.
This is one of the best episodes in the series.
When Caitlin found Stringfellow Hawke a few weeks after he & Dominic Santini left Texas following saving her life and getting rid of the corrupt sheriff, Caitlin could've given Stringfellow a big kiss to show her gratitude for saving her life..
The music sets the mood all the time
Maaaan, do I miss this show and these two GUYS!! ❤❤❤
Hawke was born to fly that chopper!!
Hawke was one of the original test pilots for Airwolf before Moffett went off the rails and stole Airwolf from The F.I.R.M.
RIP JMV the Best show on TV
Great "blast" from the past. Thanks WFTN!
"It's the aliens! They come back for her!" lol
best line in the whole episode lol
09rja classic line from TACKLEBERRY (in Captain Harris’ voice)!!! lol 😝
Lol lance shakes his head.
0:35 How's this for rude awakening, Sherrif? Party's over! Prepare for your worst nightmare!
Amazing series . Hawk and Dom rescuing Cathlin..
The best action sequence in the entire run of the series. Love it. Shame its cropped into a little square.
It may be to avoid a DMCA takedown or something.
One of the best.
Would be better using " tv screen " instead
Airwolf was an utterly brilliant TV series.
A real winner by Donald P Bellisario.
Jan Michael Vincent who played Stringfellow Hawk and Ernest Borgnine who played Dominic Santini are both sadly deceased now.
Jean Bruce and Alex Cord who played Caitlin O'Shaughnessy and Michael Archangel still alive though.
Would love someone to make a movie version updated for the 2020s.
Actually, RIP Alex Cord. 🙁
I still love do not make me do it, please. You had a choice. I'm not responsible for what happens next.
Airwolf is Excalibur. There is the law and there is JUSTICE. Buh bye Caitlin.
the missile was a complete overdoing it... but we all love it LOL. What I really like is how at the end String tells her "see you around" and hits the turbos. For any regular pilot flying next to Airwolf like Catlin was and seeing it jump to very high speed out of nowhere must be crazy if it was real life. All a pilot would think is "I want one a helicopter like that"...
Hated the deputy getting killed
1:23 the perfect line and delivery for someone in a position of air supremacy.
The corrupt sheriff lost his mind thinking his ordinary rifle would take down Airwolf and he forced Stringfellow Hawke to take him down. Caitlin thought she was going to make him stay to answer for blowing up the sheriff and his jail, even after he saved her life. But she was determined to find him even after he and Dom flew away fast.
That "Howl" 😍
that scream is The Lady’s way of announcing her presence
Of the three times Lance LeGault guest starred this is his best role in my opinion.
Sucks that now this is considered "toxic" masculinity. This was my favorite show as a kid. Guess I'm toxic.
cano21 Where exactly is it considered that?
Yep. You don't see men portrayed with such dynamism and authority today.
Hawk can fly air wolf like nobody's business
because he was one of the original test pilots of Airwolf and he was able to handle her with the Turbos
