The actress for Eliza/the girl zombie (Kylie Russell) was pregnant while they were filming so that's why they had to have her character show up on a video screen. If they had shown her entire body they would've had to explain the pregnancy somehow.
Also, the choreographer was Dondraico Johnson.

fun fact A-spen is nonbinary!! they don't make it a big deal so it's easy not to catch. honestly i'm glad they didn't show it off and be like LOOK A NON-BINARY CHARACTER and just let the character exist with no dramatics because it just shows it's just a normal thing. great way to do representation in my opinion!!
I was so surprised, because it wasn't pranced around at all! I heard Zed say like- "what are they talking about" and was like 👀... Then saw them next to A-len and A-li, seeing the androgony and was like 👀👀, but then I thought no, its disney, don't do that, don't give me hope, so I googled it and !!!!! They normally would've been all "LOOK! WE HAVE A GAY!!!" *3 seconds of screen time*

Honestly i wouldn’t have caught it either if people didn’t already mention it on Instagram way before the movie came out.
And I kind of did wish there was an introduction. Cus otherwise how did zed or anyone else know Aspen was non-binary? I know people would say it’s cringy if there was a introduction but like the characters just knowing what their pronouns are without asking or it being mentioned in front of them doesn’t make sense to me.
@@unixornprince Yeah I agree, I've seen a lot of reviewers and stuff misgender them, because if you're not familiar with the signs of non-binary characters, you would miss it easily. The whole movie only uses their pronouns (mostly referring to them by name) 4 times total, so it would be very easy to miss. At least the bisexuality was obvious and apparent, that makes me glad.
And Terry Hu (the actor for A-spen) is non-binary too which is amazing!

Why is no one talking about the fact that the aliens said anyone other than aliens would fry up if they traveled through space on the ship. And at the end Bucky is in the ship about to travel through space. I've just been wondering this entire time if they killed Bucky lol
Bucky is invincible and an alien (probably).
Bucky is an alien, because him and Addison have the same grandma
But he hasn't had time to transform like addison
But we never actually saw him go anywhere. He just got on the ship like everyone else did. He probably just pushed some buttons and did a dance
I knew Addison being an alien was going to happen, but in my mind…I thought she was going to be adopted and she would meet her birth parents who were aliens. But this was just as good with her grandmother being one herself. Idk, maybe it’s just me. I’m curious if anyone else thought that

Did you know that Bucky actually got held back because he was there around two years before Addison came to the school?😂😂
So the actress who plays Eliza was actually pregnant and she could only be filmed from the chest up, so they decided to put her on the screen to be able to film easier and not have to explain how she was pregnant. Just wanted to explain why she was on the screen a majority of the film!
A-spen (the emotional alien who had a crush on Zed) is actually non-binary, like the person who plays them! :)

It's extremely accurate to the franchise. None of the couples have any build up. I love them so much.

TO BE FAIR... I did a little digging on Wyatt and Eliza bc I was frustrated with how random it was (at least Zed and Addy had the whole "love at first punch"). In the second movie, Zed and Eliza are watching Addison cheer with the wolves and Eliza says Wyatt is attractive and smells good. At the end of the film, where everyone is dancing, she takes off her Z-band and Wyatt holds it for her.
... That's literally it. and honestly, I'm still disappointed. Her compliment was so casual and fit with her personality that I just thought she was teasing Zed.
I just gotta say that when Aspen tells Addison about liking Zed and she says they want to be together forever and then “well if he gets into mountain college then yeah forever!” She just wasn’t saying she won’t love Zed anymore if doesn’t get in, she’s just afraid of being separated from him and simply misspoke. And I knew that she had to accidentally say it in a way that would make Aspen think “oh, I could still have a chance with him!” Lol
“Come On Out” is THE best song in the movie and probably one of my top favourites in the series. Maybe it’s because it’s really similar to the music I listen to, but I instantly loved it
I think.. while cheesy (duh) this one is the best out of the 3. And the representation we got with aspen being non binary and ending up with a girl was amazing.
I thought Aspen being non binary was great, but it got me thinking.... If all the aliens share one consciousness does that mean all of them are non binary? Or are they more separate once they turn off the emotion inhibitors??

My favorite part of the movie were the fact that a few of the characters were revealed to be lgbt+ and they didn’t make it a big deal. Also that this movie was a little bit dark and at some points creepier then most Disney movies. At one point in the werewolves song Wyatt basically says mess with us and we’ll kill you and it really through me for a loop (I think the actual lyric was “we’ll end your part of the story”)
The wolves were kinda violent in this movie and I loved it

Yeah I think Eliza wasn't on set because she just had a baby and she may have been pregnant during the filming. She has a channel called Rylee Russel not sure if it's because she had a newborn or something else but I just assume she wanted to be with her infant. LOL could you imagine Disney allowing the pregnant actress who plays a High Schoolers on set? Explain that to the kiddos.

Well that's probably because most of their audience is a teenager or older now (6 years now) so it'd make sense to try and make it even more trendy

The quality upgrade of this movie gave me flashbacks of watching HSM3 as a kid and being so confused as to why it looked so clear and great, just that now I now what an augmented budget and team changes are and it wasn’t that “our TV gets good for this movie bc is my favorite” like my mom told me

well wouldn't that fall into her um....alien genes? I mean they did say how they are harmonious creatures and refuse to argue/have conflict. I felt like that was an "ah-ha" moment for me bc Addison's optimistic-cheery personality matches so well with her own kind, the aliens.

I noticed, how in Zombies 1-2 his dancing was a bit stiff, but he looks MUCH more comfortable and confident in the 3rd one. It definitely has improved tremendously.
a bunch of the dancers are a lot older thats a fact, terry is 27 (aspen), meg's about to be 22, kylee's 25, milo 21, but it's all good, and they want another movie! and a lot of us do too! :)

I honestly enjoyed all 3. I think the first is the strongest still, 2nd and 3rd have the best songs overall, however the 1st has fewer amazing songs. and i also liked the fact that the ending of the 3rd didn't seem to be rushed compared to 1 and 2 where i had a real issue with it before. Finally, what i was most impressed by was how they handled Zed and Addison's relationship over the trilogy, it was exceptionally well developed, with also decent acting by the 2 protagonist. Overall i really liked this trilogy and i think its better than decedents, especially the songs, the songs in Zombies are so much better
To be fair, the first movie literally reused almost every song so the following movies would obviously have better songs since they were all original

Did you know that the werewolfs (Wyatt,Willa and Wynter) are immortal so Wyatt is hundreds of years older than Eliza. It was stated after the second movie
