Thanks you saved me man,been looking for an entire day ! Actually I verified the inside file and found out I missed the "quote" mark inside the file , so even that of course can lead to that error message but thanks to your video, I got back and checked and now working
With ref.to the issue with file extension: On FileExplorer at the "Menu" line, chose View. Then at the right in the group Show/hide, select "File name extension", then files are listed with their extensions :-) You will be able to see "Setup" listed as "Setup.exe".
Hello, I had a problem with opening Word/Excel etc recently. I had the computer for two years and there was Office 2016 but it required the license so I did not use it. Two years ago Officedeployment tool was used and I am not sure what was the story but Word and Excel have been working fine since then. Recently I could not open Word/Excel anymore. I tried to install Office 2019 using ODT myself and it seemed to install well but I was still not able to open Word/Excel documents.The only thing I had to do is to open Word as an administrator, then blank Word document appeared. I decided to uninstall the Office 2019 as thought configuration file was not correct. After using Revo Uninstaller Office 2016 could have been affected. But as it did not open Word documents anyway I decided to install Office 2019 with new configuration file again, but every time I have got errors. One saying You try to install 64 bit Office 2019 on the already installed 32 bit Office 2016. I have uninstalled Office 2016 and tried to install Office 2019 using ODT again but every time Error 0-2048 popped up. I do not understand how I managed to install Office 2019 first time when Office 2016 was on the machine and why I cannot do it when there is no Office 2016 anymore.
Running into the same problem but the file names are correct. Used the same files and configuration on 8 Windows 10 PCs, now failing on Windows 11. Any ideas? EDIT: there's a newer version of the ODT setup file, the one we had was not compatible with Windows 11, apparently.
