The American Diesel engine is a BNSF SD40-2, one of the most common Diesel engines in America. And the American steam engine is 2-8-4 Berkshire locomotive, specifically the Nickel Plate Road S-2 design
@@maxrichter6164 If you look at the tender it says Nickel Plate Road. It’s the same model and has a similar number to the Nickel Plate Road 765 steam engine. 765 is an S-2 Berkshire locomotive, while the real Polar Express (Pere Marquette 1225) is an N-1 type Berkshire
@@Red_Bull2 that's cause The some railroads have the head lights On the locomotives in different places like for example the the SD70ACE on the NS railroad has the 2nd light on the roof part of their locomotives and a SD70ACE on the union Pacific railroad have one on the nose but it's the still same locomotive but that's still a sd40-2
this was such a fun video, now do this in terms of power and speed. NY Hudson, Union Pacific DD-A400X Centennial, and Amtrack Acella Express for the US. And i'm not well versed enough for the UK picks.
Lazer, why don't you set the power level to be the same for every race (doesn't necessarily have to be 100%) and then you can have a leaderboard of lap times, and then it'll be like a real race! It might also be interesting to see if any engines you've raced more than once would do better / worse (maybe they were on different tracks and the curve radius affected them, maybe the loads were different, etc.)
Wait The Minute My friends!!!!! Lazer Jet I have An Awasome Idea For You I hope You Would Like This Idea On The Next Video : 'DOUBLE TENDER RACE' I Think That's Gonna Be Awasome Race I've Ever Seen In My Life If You Guys Agree : 👍👍👍
Fun fact: BNSF and Matra partnered up So now BNSF trains are on The Commuter Lines Of matra trains And if you don't know what metra is It is a commuter train company That bring passengers where do they need to be like Amtrak
Nice for putting the class 68 because if the UK electric train was the pendolino or eurostar or anything like that they would have demolished the others
The Class 88 is like the 68 but its electric, possibly hybrid. Edit: The class 88 is like almost identical to the 68, the only difference is that the 88 has a pantograph.
I think you are talking about Amtrak 601 and how it overspeed trough a curve somewhere around Pennsylvania and sparked out and tipped over onto the ballast and the ground. That was may of 2015
To be honest, Berkshires aren't meant for speed. They're just mixed traffic engines. A class 2900, the UP 844 or a NYC Hudson J3a(streamlined)would do better in a race.
Wow. I thought the ACS-64 Cities Sprinter would win, but it turns out that the Class 68 won. What a fast diesel! The whole race, I was cheering for the A4, and was shocked when she pantsed (completely overtook) the BNSF SD40-2 and Nickel Plate Berkshire! And I am SO glad she won third place! Hats off to you, Union of South Africa! (insert A4 three chime whistle sound here)
Next, you should do UK All-Stars, using: For steam: GWR King Class A4 LMS Coronation For diesel power, Class 37 Class 55 Class 67 And for electric power, Class 86 Class 88 Class 92
I love tye class 68 livery to its so detailed it also won with buety points so it deserved 1st place also its first time that's impressive I didn't place on my first martial arts tournament wow
Berkshire is a type of a locomotive the locomotive you took to the race is the Berkshire 2-8-4 Nickel Plate Road 756 S-1 The type of Berkshire I like is the Berkshire 2-8-4 Pere Marquette 1225 N-1 😁😁😀
"actually i dont even know what this is." me: its a *BNSF SD40-2*
A old one
You were Correct that is a SD40-2
Ok
Yes
Yes I was so angy WHAT DOSE IT SAY KN THE SIDE *BNSF* Oh I don't know what this train is ITS A BURLINGTON NORTHEN SANTA FE
This is probably the most exciting race you have done!
Yea
*COUGH COUGH* Flying Scotsman vs Mallard *COUGH*
OMG C PLAZ

I’ve been wanting this vid out for a while
I was one of the ones or the one who requested this race
If you put the % power to 200% on your races, your trains will go lightning fast by the time is full speed and put them on 200% it works perfectly 👌🏻
class 08
@@samuelreading4987 What?
Race starts at 7:03
1:19 that’s actually an SD40-2 American freight train.
Correct
Yeah its an sd40
With a blind guess I Thought it was an SD 45. So thanks for the correct answer.
Actually not a SD-40, the front of this train is different compared to the -40

It's pretty cool to know that Nickel Plate Road 763 is still in preservation

Cool video dude I loved the video by the way I’m British to!
This is one of your best yet Oliver! Keep up the good work! :)
Nice for putting the class 68 because if the UK electric train was the pendolino or eurostar or anything like that they would have demolished the others
I'm subscribing. I like your videos so far
All your races are awsome
If you switched out Berkshire for a NYC J3-A Hudson, then Hudson would have left the rails on fire🔥 and that A4 in the dust
It's called Pere Marquette 1225 (Berkshire train)
Hi LaZeR JET I have to say this but WOOOOOOW
6:19 honestly I thought you were going to say the American trains are larger in size
Same
Same
Ikr
I loved this! Awesome race
the berkshire is a 2-8-4 and is known for strength with speed here in the US!
The Amtrack electric almost won the race dang it.
Lazer jet can you do acela express vs ny hudson
seriously, which do you think is going to win that lol.
I think class 68 could give new york central Hudson a run for its money 🤔
Video Idea: Can you do severn valley railway kidderminster to bridgnorth
Class 68 excellent
Thanks for the video
I was so happy to see the A4 beat the British diesel freight train 😁
You put a BNSF SD40-2 in the race?
Neat
LaZeR JET you final added a Berkshire 2-8-4 Thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻😀😀😀
Lazer jet if u have deluxe train Simulator 2021 is it worth it
Nice 68 Really CLOSE with 66 And Union South Afica
Nice video.
i have an idea, class 66 vs class 37 vs class 86
6:08 The UK 🇬🇧 are smaller than the USA 🇺🇸
There is the class 88 instead of the 68
American has nuklcupers and England has buffers
The Class 88 is like the 68 but its electric, possibly hybrid.
Edit: The class 88 is like almost identical to the 68, the only difference is that the 88 has a pantograph.
The 68 is owned by scotrail it's a real company in scotland
Get in mate this is on the Roll!!!
This American diesel is called a BNSF GP38
It’s a sd40-2
Idk
I know that class 66 and that American Diesel have the same engine but the class 66 has a smaller version
@@wellingtonnorthjunction3911 they don’t, the sd40-2 has a EMD 16-645E3, and the 66 has a EMD 710
Try these races on going up a steep hill... 50 % steepness... That would be fun 🤣🤣
Finally I get to see a berkshire! Could you make a video on the berkshire again please Lazer jet?
The buckeye style couplers that the Americans use are technically buffers as well because the get pushed back when a freight car hits them
I love how he uses a class 68 instead of the 88 even though they are practically the same
That notification bell should be specially turned into a whistle for this RUclips Channel
The BNSF locomotive is a model sd40-2 built by EMD
The American freight train is a sd-402 also its called bnsf
0:58 that train is the Nickel Platte Road PM N1 765.
1:10 that is either a SD40-2 or -3 or a GP 38
Pls do the 390 vs the 801
@LaZeR JET The AP Class 90 Electric Loco You Should Have Used it In The Race
Or the class 88
Can u review Australian trains?
There’s actually an electric version of the 68, the class 88, but unfortunately it hasn’t been made for train simulator yet!
The Eurodual is basically the same loco so you could just use that
The Amtrak train that you used in this video the class of course got into a wreck back in the 2010s
I think you are talking about Amtrak 601 and how it overspeed trough a curve somewhere around Pennsylvania and sparked out and tipped over onto the ballast and the ground. That was may of 2015
That American Diesel is a BNSF SD40-2

Idk why the Amtrak ACS-64 isn't going fast because it tops out at 125mph in RL
For the UK Electric train use the 91
the usa diesel is a EMD SW7, DTS 117 made in 1949
Wow. I thought the ACS-64 Cities Sprinter would win, but it turns out that the Class 68 won. What a fast diesel! Great stream, LaZeR!
Next, you should do UK All-Stars, using:
For steam:
GWR King Class
A4
LMS Coronation
For diesel power,
Class 37
Class 55
Class 67
And for electric power,
Class 86
Class 88
Class 92
The freight train that you didn't know what it was called was a bnsf freight train with an bnsf sd40-2 leading!
The American Freight Engine is called a SD40-2
What is a rolling stock
The American diesel train is called the BNSF
1:35
woooo train races
lets do ts 2021 olympics
you should try playing minecraft with the immersive rairoading mod and the lner addon texture pack👍
Lazer jet:electric trains of UK! shows diesel train. Electric train fans: You must realize that you are doomed!!
you could of done the Class 88 since that electric
Edit: its looks the same as the 68.
can you please try to find a 88 and do class 68 vs 88.
Yeah I was wondering why he didn't use the class 88...
He could have done the pendolino, or the class 800 for the electric.
I love tye class 68 livery to its so detailed it also won with buety points so it deserved 1st place also its first time that's impressive I didn't place on my first martial arts tournament wow
I didn't even know it was a premier video and also you could of used the class 88 cause that's similar to the class 68
I hope the next race is UK v Germany
Berkshire is a type of a locomotive the locomotive you took to the race is the Berkshire 2-8-4 Nickel Plate Road 756 S-1
The type of Berkshire I like is the Berkshire 2-8-4 Pere Marquette 1225 N-1 😁😁😀
Ya... And nkp 765 has a second head lamp.... With personally I don't like.
I just love Pm 1225
I know I like the Pere Marquette 1225 as well 😀😀
And btw if I remember correctly, ACS-64 has max speed of 125 mph, as well as A4s do, so ACS beats A4 just because of acceleration
true
Mister, maybe a class 90 (an electric loco) would be nice for UK, then u take away the 66, and replace it with a 68
The American BNSF is an SD40 model.
The class 66 is american as a british person im saying this btw
it’s operating in britain
this is meant to be a race that operate in the uk / usa.
The bnsf Real name is Burlington northern Santa Fe if you want to correct it right
Hey, do u wanna see flying Scotsman, go to Haywood station on the 31st August or 1 September on the ELR Haywood platform 1 is
The Berkshire is from the Nickel Plate Road. The one you had was no.763
Now at Age of steam roundhouse
BNSF = Burlington Northern Santa Fe (Its a SD40-2 Freighter)
so the orange train on the USA side is a SD40-2 i see them a lot
Actually a train similar to BNSF SD40-2 is the MBTA commuter rail
This is a really good race also that’s a BNSF SD40-2. I love all American and British trains and I got to say, this is a hell of a race
Can you next do a live stream with my faviorite rebuild merchant navy engine 35014 Netherland line on an LMS route ?
Hey,lazerjet can you brought the indian train race
Oliver do Union Pacific vs Flying Scotsman vs Daylight vs Dominion of Canada
Why would you just throw SP 4449 in there randomly?
If the class 68 wins will that mean electric power will win?
1:11 it is called a SD40-2
Steam trains are my favorite. Diesels are my second favorite. Electric is third
(6745 is an SD40 from the United States in BNSF livery)
Can we just look at the size comparison? The UK side is midgets compared to USA
I think the reason why Berkshire was in last place I think it’s really built for strength and and speed
Laser jet do Acela Express vs Mallad A4
Don’t take this the wrong way but you kind of look like billie joe Armstrong as a gamer
The Polar Express Comming thruuu
I think USA 🇺🇸 but I want U.K.🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 to win 🏆
Several other countries including Canada and China use knuckle couplers
You could have put the Virgin Pendolino for Britain
The orange Diesel is a SD40-Dash 2 - BNSF
