When he said “he tossed a hand grenade into the party” I was like WTF!!! Who the fuck has hand grenades lol

The way he said big OG spider boy was shot in the balls so nonchalantly with that gruff, low pitched voice had me 🤦♂️😂. I expected to hear some giggling in the background when he said that. But, yes, I'm very impressed with this well researched documentary you presented, sir.

Good work mate, you do you're content very well a great watch keep up the hard work, very enjoyable. Peace 🇮🇪

Marvin Mercado was called "Shyboy," BUT HE WAS NOT SHY AT ALL WHEN IT CAME TO THAT VIOLENCE!
Very nice production and kind of accurate portrayal. I remember Marvin, but their were 2 individuals from a rival Asian gang (not mentioned) that he would never consider stepping up to... Let's just say they could get access to many things of theirs and be savage about it if they wished "scary". A little research and you'll know who these (I wouldn't even call them people) are.

In 96’ ABZ starting getting their names really buzzing. 91-94” when house parties were really lit a lot of the sets in the 818 were at war with each other. Hip hop was my avenue, but you knew the gangstas always would show up and you never what was going to go down. It was a fun time when you’re in it, but now that I’m older, there was a lot of trauma, loss, grief, addiction, and all the other things that mess your head up being only 13-16 years old at the time. RIP to all those who lost someone to all the senseless violence.
House parties were always getting shot up, it’s crazy to think that was fun to us growing up.
Where you grow up at? Who you hang out with back then? I was in the middle of all this back then. These were some crazy times!!! Sh00touts every few days!! House parties were guaranteed to get sh0t up!! We all had p1stols back then. Like you said 13-17 year olds just WILD!!! Strung out on cr@nk or rocks. I can't lie, I do actually miss those days but lost a few homeboys but we were living like animals back then. I knew so many of these Asian gangstas in the SFV. I'm a pkrwood so I got along with almost all of them. Mostly Judas and LVM were my homeboys but I knew some ABS and Wa-Ching too.
@@robertjimenez8790 smh lol
@@kenkaniff8428 u use to do crank and rock? 😅😂😂😂😂
@@33GLOCK you are PARTLY correct. I've got no shame admitting what I've done in my younger years growing up in gangs and all the other stuff that comes with it. Yes I used to do cr@nk but not cr@ck but I did sell cr@nk and rocks. Not sure why you find that funny but OK
First gun I ever saw in school was when I was attending Fulton Middle School in Van Nuys (now Fulton College Prep, what a trip), and one day in class my friend opened his backpack to show me the Glock he was holding for the Asian Boyz--he wasn't even a gangbanger, just a nerdy little gamer kid like me, but who wanted to be a shark instead of a mouse: they were using him like a mule to stash weapons because he was so unimposing. I moved to a different part of the valley after that year, but I always wondered what happened to him...I hope for the best, but expect the worst.
Wow really when was this ?

Reseda 13
@@conspiraciesexposed7760 Van Nuys ESSAY!!!
Back in 2000, I was at this computer/internet place, where kids played some combat game. It was near CSUN, off of Reseda and Prairie. I'm there finishing up using the computer, and there are these Vietnamese "kids" sitting around; I thought they were 14/15 y/o. Then, some cars pull up and Korean guys come out, about 15 or so wearing jeans and white t-shirts. They go in and talk to these two Vietnamese guys and one girl, saying: "Come on, let's go outside. Let's go outside, dude." Apparently, one of the Vietnamese guys said to a Korean kid playing the game, "You bang?" The Korean guy apparently gave the wrong answer, and the Viet-guys told him to leave.
When the Korean guys came in the the store, the Viet-guys did not move. The Korean guys were talking about "love" and stuff, brotherly love, etc. The Viet-guys stayed in their seats, . . . until this one Korean guy (who previously talked about "love") came rushing in with a baseball bat and slams it on a table, and the Viet-guys went running to the back. I told the clerk to call the police, which he finally did. The Korean guys drove around in the parking lot, antagonizing and intimidating the Viet-guys; then they left. The police finally showed up, but there was nothing for them to do, so they left.
I asked one of the two Viet-guys if they were afraid of the Korean guys, and one of them sternly looked at me and said: "Shit! I ain't afraid of nothing!" As if by me asking that I was insulting him. Two thoughts came to my mind: he was a gang member and I should not mess with him, and that he was going to get hurt some day. His name was Stephen Nguyen. He had a nice looking girlfriend with him, who was Filipina. She was small framed and told me that she had been barred from "the mall" for getting into a fight. She actually seemed friendly.
I went to the internet store about a month later, and Stephen had been shot and killed by a Filipino gang. Apparently, it was some sort of retaliation on him for having a Filipina gf. I believe he was 18. That was sad. He had his whole life ahead of him. I wondered what his parents were thinking. These guys look like they come from pretty decent families.
I looked up on the internet to see if I could find anything about Stephen Nguyen's murder, and there was nothing. I asked someone what happened to his girlfriend, and he said: "Nobody knows." I bet she was devastated. It seemed like she was very much in love with Stephen. Someone had written a poem about Stephen winning a race in his white Honda Civic. I was impressed with the poem. The guy who wrote it, had good writing skills.
That's pretty sad. But the 90s and early 2000s was about violent asian gangs. I'm surprised that he was shot by a filipino gang since the views and Filipinos were pretty close.. well I now remember there was a predominantly filipino gang that kind of started to grow on numbers around me.
