To me, this song is exactly as it says. There was a girl who was raised to believe that "The Lord does good." Her friend, Angel, was suicidal, so this girl begged God to save her. Angel ended up committing suicide, so this girl is questioning her faith and Lord.
This song isn't promoting Satanism, it's merely about a girl who's confused.

This song could be about many things. Religion, suicide, mental illness, losing your identity or a friend or even about her life in the entertainment industry. If you ask me I think it's pure art and I think many can relate to her words.

I really like this band. I don't love this song, but they never claimed to be a Christian band. They can sing non Christian songs. There's a ton of pain and recovery in the lyrics of all the songs. As a Christian who works in Foster Care, I can honestly tell you there are things that happen where I really want to know why they had to happen. My faith is not shaken, and I can tell kids who have gone through hell they can yell at me and God about all they want. As long as they're talking about it.

Maybe she had she knew a girl with a similar life and that was why they got good friends but at some point her friend couldn't take it any longer. I mean the lyrics at all other points of the song sound more like she's singing about a friend than her. Which would also could explain why she wrote so many depressive songs even at that young age.
I hear the pain in the lyrics of many songs. Whether a friend or her. I want to hurt the people that hurt her, I really do. It's not my place though so I simply pray for her and hope one day she can meet the Jesus I know.

Probably because this song, as many other songs, actually does consist of words. Thos words may be forming entire sentences, and well, sentences tend to have a certain meaning. Those here for instance have a meaning that is also about religion, which is - as you may already know - a very strong emotion. People tend to get emotional.
