What an inspiration! I have this kit on order, so will reference your video often to avoid the pitfalls. Nice work, Greg! Really like the colors you chose.
A excellent build of a totally different subject we would normally see on a modelling channel, many thanks for sharing, keep safe and well in these troubled times.
Thanks for the mention matey. Wow, I don't think you realise just what a cracking job you've done. That's brill work. I hope you and your family have a brill Christmas and a happy new year. Stay safe mukka.
New subscriber and I’m really impressed with this build. It’s beautiful. Kudos for putting together the sub assemblies on camera....great work. Panda kits not the easiest but you’ve nailed this one 👍
This is a lovely looking model. I particularly like the tonal variations on the main colour. A little while ago I made the Meng armoured dozer and used the AK true metal on the blade and the rams. You can buff this to shine it up a bit but also I don't think it will stick the rams up as it dries because you can all but buff it off.
Thanks Allan. I have some of the Mr.MetalColors that you can buff up, very good stuff. I'd had toyed with using aluminium rod, colour and strength all in one.
Nov. 5, 2020----Thanks for the video and great looking build. However, I'm looking at it in a different way....as a vehicle to clear a city street of zombies, maybe some abandoned vehicles left in the road. Or maybe find an M-1 Abrams with a plow clearing the way ahead of it, with troops on top of it and the HMEE doing cleanup work behind it?
Greg, I am glad I’ve found your channel, I’ve watched all the builds you have listed on you tube and can’t believe the quality, have you thought about putting together Mengs D 9 Dozer, as I have one in the stash.
Nice work. This is going to be one of my Christmas present had a quick peek in the box the clear parts are in a bag now I have to go a see if the wheel hubs are solid. Did you have to add any support for the engine cover really like how you did it. Its a shame there is no hydraulic hose looks like I have my work cut out for me on this one. You did a great job
No supports, but I did find that the two side straps got in the way of this part seating properly. The hoses would have been nice to add but I'm getting lazy in my old age.
Hey mate. Just doing this build now. I saw you had black hose in the hose reel. What did you use? The instructions on this kit are vague for the smaller parts.
Can't remember now. But maybe you can take out the copper from a piece of wire and use the covering. The other option is to try and find a model shop that caters for the train enthusiast. They should have all sorts of vinyl or plastic cables.
This is a really neat build, Greg. I see there are 8 sh*theads that are jealous of the skill you put into this model. I could never understand the "thumbing down" of videos like this other than petty BS.
Thats panda for you. If you thought dragons instruction manuals were bad, these are a notch way above them Lol...I built the stryker with the 30mm turret. And I needed reference pictures to fit parts. Utter nonsense.
BRILLIANT BUILD Greg :)
Never knew armored tractors were a thing, great job!
Great build Greg! This kit looks absolutely stunning.😎👍
Greg you did a great job on that it turned out great, thanks for the heads up on some of the issues need to watch for them. 👌👍

Awesome, thank you!

Cheers Motty! Likewise; you and your family have a good one.
Love it Greg! This has inspired me to build something mechanical for my next series...
Cheers Sean; anytime.

well turned out great !!!!! and remember Panda and Kitty Hawk are the same company I think so......
pretty bad ass kit, but funny how they left just the front fenders black like that, bit odd.
Stunning! Now do a diorama. 🤣
Sehr gut!!!!!!

They walk among us 😂
Great build Greg.
Not sure that I could tackle it though.
Do you have a large set of oil paints for washes or just few?
Two Flory washes, black and dark dirt. And as for oils just six small tubes, they will last me a life time.

@@GregsModels Indeed they do.
