I always thought a 9 to 5 was working was cool. However after 20 years working and technologies becoming more complex and increasing pressure to meet deadlines, 80 hour weeks for just under 6 figures I really am second guessing my future now.
Times change, people change and perspectives change. It's okay to go through these thoughts.
That is just ridiculous, i thought 50-60 hrs a week was bad...
@@Jayli2132 hmm 60 hours aint too bad. But yeh probably will change jobs and see if it gets better.
So stressful. A side hustle is also a career. Online business is the new trend
by any chance did you work as a software engineer? that career is EXACTLY as you described (increasing complexity, impossible deadlines, unpaid overtime)

you mentioned several times that you're thankful about opportunities that "have come your way". What did you actually do to make these opportunities come knock on your door? did they all just come out of nowhere? cheers.
They've come from my years working on my channel and sharing free valuable content to my audience. It must've been a coincidence to all come at the same time, but I know it's because I have stayed consistent with my channel for 3 years now :)

Yes I work from home. What scares you about working from home? I did have about 8-9 months of savings, so was willing to stick it out till then anyway and hopefully if no opps were coming through by then I would know :)
@@successbysanjna Is working from home easy in Australia? How about health insurance, pension, ect ... ? Sorry I'm from Germany and If I quit my Job, I have to pay for my health insurance ~ 600€ per month and pension fond ~200-400€. This why jobseekers have to go to Federal Employment Agency and declare unemployment and they get money from the goverment, but you will get job offer very soon ;) Job you dont like!

It’s not always about the weather. It might be too cold for you in England whilst too hot for the next person in Australia haha
