There's a series on ao3 called Marionette, Poppet, Prince. It's by KaerWrites and it's the whole trilogy from Laurent's POV. It's really good, and also comes up with a good explanation for the blue dress. Would definitely recommend.
My belief is that, in the tent scene, when Laurent says to Damen 'Take me to bed' he is kinda joking, like making fun of him, but also he is just saying this because he can. Damen is exhausted so Laurent knows that he won't be able to actually do anything but he also trusts Damen enough that he knows he wouldn't hurt him even if Damen could move. So he is both joking in a teasing manner but also enjoying having the power of saying stuff like this when he knows nothing is going to happen to him. He might mean is very subconsciously but consciously he doesn't want it to happen, he just enjoys the trill of being able to say things like that while being safe. That's what I believe. (I might be reading waaaaay to much into it thought, he is a complicated man 😜).
I'm so with you on feeling like this book series has become a part of me. It's fantastic to hear you gush about it and all the little details. I think one of the things that sticks out to me most is just how much my interpretations change each time I reread and I do sometimes wish I could experience it all for the first time again 😭
