If Macguyver and Toolman Taylor had a kid…then taught that kid to fish, camp, and cook… his name would be “Cody”!😂💪 Man, Cody… you always kill it with the upgrades and DIY. Super interesting to see the process. Those risers turned out awesome!

Tight lines!@@OutdoorQuests
Great idea. I will use this for the back support of my Native Slayer 13 risers. However, I do need to raise the front to the same level and will need a rig that screws to the rail. Thanks!
Thank you, I hope this works for your kayak. Those Native Slayer's are really nice. That's the beauty of kayaks, mods are super fun and easy (and typically cheap).
Awesome diy

Have you though about making front seat risers. Id be interested in seeing 1in front risers
Yeah, I have. If I do, I'll certainly put a video up. I appreciate you watching. Tight lines
@@OutdoorQuests I just made some yesterday. I made your rear risers then from the same wood I made two 1inch front risers. Super simple. If you do it, obviously you need longer bolts. There 10/32. Took me a second to figure that out. I had 5 mil at first and they wouldn't thread in. You're going to need little washers as well. Think the 5mil washer worked great. You just need about 1/4in to thread in.
@@OutdoorQuests also seems like people do the spacers on the pdl drive bar and seat. 1in pvc is perfect for both. They don't need to be tight on the bar to work but if you want them tight cut a horizontal slit in your pvc and use a hose clamp and tighten it down. Works great
I've seen those spacers they sell, but I haven't had an issue with my pdl drive being off center.
What size hole saw did you use for the riser? 2" ???
1:50 mark mentions it. 2 3/4"
thanks sorry I missed that@@OutdoorQuests
