Ah, what would the internet be without a condescending post from an anonymous RUclips member!
Cover: a new performance or recording of a contemporary or previously recorded, commercially released song.
Orchestral: Written for an orchestra to play. (or played by an orchestra)
So, was this "written for an orchestra to play, or played by an orchestra?"
Not sure, but, what is an orchestra? You've got a string quartet here, BUT, they also have percussion...And that would be orchestral, but also consider I think there might even be a reed instrument here as well... In the end, they have more, and different, instruments than you'd see in something other than an orchestral ensemble. And I suspect that you'd also have a problem with that term given the fact you're willing to criticize without having an actual discussion. BUT, I really don't care... I liked this "orchestral cover" despite the *$&^#& people (i.e. "you") that might want to argue about definitions and terminology.

i suppose you're making a Daughter reference here, and personally I think their cover was really good. that's totally okay not to like it but i think being able to add something to the song and make your own version without completely diverging from the original one IS what covering is all about. and don't get me wrong this cover is one of the best ones i've seen, i'm just trying to clarify something

Get someone else to sing, do all the arranging, or practice singing more. Then release an album or something But I suggest just getting others to sing. That way you can focus on the stuff you're good at, which is making great songs. I'd love to hear more of this
What is your point here? The singer is good. He's not a super strong singer or classically trained, but he sings on key and it fits the songs.
What i mean is that they're really good at their instruments and that's the strong point of the band but the double duty seems to be distracting them from their instruments and I'd rather hear them be really good with their instruments than giving lukewarm performances because they're trying to sing and play at the same time. That's all I was trying to say.... I def could have said it better ... sorry
