Pimp C is a criminally underrated producer.
So true
If Pimp was from New York people would be saying he might be the greatest rapper-producer ever
No, we miss Sweet James Jones in Russia❤
@@johnnyknoxville5917 Double that💯
And doing with original melodies... not relying on famous samples
Bun B’s verse is top 5 of all time to me!
U ain’t never lied 🤦🏾♂️🔥
I got it as #1
@@bliine I have said this FOR YEARS!!! I rate it as the GREATEST VERSE IN HIP HOP!!! NOBODY was rappin like this in 1996… NOBODY. PERIOD. But Hip Hop was kinda regionalized in that era. If you were on a MAJOR, you were on a Major. But even then, “at times” you could still be “prodominantly” known AND APPRECIATED by your region more. I sincerely believe this verse is one of the GREATEST VERSES of ALL TIME. This album alone solidifies BUN B AS AN EXCEPTIONAL LYRICIST.
All time🔥!
Facts
UGK “Ridin Dirty” album is a classic….no skips.
@@ascension-spiritualawakeni7865 no skips!!!! 👑
Bun snapped on this track!
UGK- Wood Wheel 🔥🔥😮💨

" might pop me a pill bih Im working wood wheel" 😂
Gotta do do “Wood Wheel”
@@readyreddd9102 Bun's verses on Wood Wheel is unmatched.
Pocket full of stones!!!!
This album is classic. Pinky Ring (next track after this song) is my favorite
Bun snap on this also
Factsssssss!!!!
Another2 tracks where UGK went crazy… C-Murder ft UGK “AKickDoe” and Fiend ft UGK “Slangin”. Trust me. Pure 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The anniversary of this album was earlier this month. One of my favorite hip hop tracks of the 90s and a classic album. Definitely gotta put this album on the list for an album reaction.
pocket full of stones , cocaine in the back of the ride , 3 in the morning to get started

Ahhhhh yeah, FINALLY! Bun is one of them ones! As lyrical as they come. R.I.P. Pimp C!!! 🙏
Pimp C specifically made this beat for Bun B to rip. I can't remember if it was because Bun asked him to or was it because Pimp thought Bun B didn't get enough credit for his lyricism.
I jus saw a video but I can't remember what podcast it was where Bun said pimp wrote a this verse for him. Or he said pimp said Bun wrote better
Both of them reasons
Bun asked him to give him something uptempo
Classic! Do master p feat ugk-break em off somethin
or 50 cent feat ugk-as the world turns
One of Pimp highlights verses
30yrs? and you just now hearing this wow 🤯 that hole album put in ride no skips #RIPPIMPC
@@raymunson he probably was a baby cause I was thinking the same thing I remember hearing this coming from texas when it first came out on the radio I couldn't wait to get home (I'm in Louisiana) I was 15/16 when this dropped went straight to the store lol
The south been running the Game these Country Rap Tunes be Beating the block up.
Feds in Town and Its Supposed to Bubble are some solid tunes off the Super Tight album
in my opinion, the holy trinity of southern hip-hop is Outkast, UGK and 8ball and MJG. 8ball and mjg started that southern pimp shit and were a heavy influence on outkast and ugk. you should react to 8ball and mjg's comin out hard in its entirety. its only like 9 tracks and definitely one of the best and most influential albums of that era.
That’s tough…..harrrrrrrd to leave out The Geto Boys though. Especially Face. I understand though.
@@jjmuse75 nah, i agree 100%. the only reason i left them out is because GB's were a different vibe. the three i mentioned where on some smoothed out pimp shit, while GB's where hardcore gangsta rap. honestly...the three i mentioned probably wouldnt exist if it werent for the GB's.

You right but Project Pat up there to!
...I concur vehemently brethren!!!💯💪🏾💯💪🏾💯💪🏾
This whole album is very much worth reacting
Classic album. One of my favorites. I was fresh out of highschool. Class of '96.
They both went off! That's one of Pimp's best verses too! Murder is my all time favorite UGK song
Bun B had one of the best verses of all time on there. Breath control was on beast mode and he did it in one take.
Wood Wheel is a classic. Their back n forth flows were lit!!!
This whole album should really get a review, definitely a classic
Definitely a classic . Meal Ticket Master P UGk eightball MJG
@@warrendixon7775 You know Something! I approve
Bun B a Dirty South goat!
UGK kinda kickstarted the whole "coke rap" subgenre. The first song I ever heard by them was "Pocket Full of Stones" from the Menace II Society soundtrack.
Not gonna full on disagree but Geto Boys - ScarFace was doing the Tony Montana shit in the late 80s. It is for sure that South Texas style
I’m from Houston and that’s one of my favorite tracks from UGK,
Bun’s verse needs to be studied
Facts. It’s going down in the books 😭😭🔥
His verse is broke down on RUclips
@@KingAhmadTv Check out a video titled "T.I.’s Favorite Verse: Bun B’s Verse on “Murder” | VERSES" it's funny AF
T.I. has a video saying this was one of his favorite verses. Kinda has a T.I. flow now that I think about it so I can see how T.I.P. was influenced by it.

Cant wait for the Scarface reaction. That classic West and Souith era need love too, love the announcement.

Untouchable is a classic
The Fix classic
Made is underrated
Riding Dirty is a blues album with dudes rapping. One of the introspective albums in hip hop. Very soulful
One of the coldest rap verses in Hiphop history belongs to Bun B
Ridin Dirty is a classic album but SUPERTIGHT is that one! Return, Supposed to Bubble, Front to back, 3 16s…whole album rides
@@TRILLdUP713 3 16's is a banger and i left it wet for you
Pimp has never need the greatest lyricist for sure BUT he will ALWAYS outshine anyone he collaborates with due to his demeanor and swag. He was so talented. He was a producer, he played instruments, he sang, and rapped. I’m a UGK alumni since 1993 when I was about 14 years old.
When we were kids, we would hop on our bicycles with our Walkman, and press play on "Too Hard To Swallow" at the same time before riding off wherever we were going. 🤣
React to Master P "Break em Off Something." Bun B go hard on that song too
Yessuh
Yes Sir SUN. Your Pop's been waiting on The UGK reaction. The SOUTH GOT SOMETHING TO SAY
UGK been making solid good music for decades
Bun B verse is one of the most celebrated in hip hop history!!!!!
Yes that Ridin Dirty album is one of my all time favorites. A definite banger.
Wow, you finally got to this. I would've honestly thought you already got to it lol but I definitely gotta do that Ridin Dirty album shoot. I honestly gotta tap back into the South as well miss me sum 8Ball n MJG🫡🫡🙏🙏
You should also review their 1994 2nd album Super Tight.
They all killed it

Bun B verse on this is so underrated
I prefer Super Tight but both albums are undeniable classics.
Bun in 96 to 2000 is what lil wayne was to 2004-08 and Wayne said this verse is what give him the spark

PEACE KING. PEACE TO THE FAMILY. BUN B IS AN ALL TIME GREAT. RIP TO THE PIMP💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
Man this took me back to 8th grade standing at the bus stop with the disc man. Classic album!
Bun said he did his verse in 2 takes....after he woke up after hearing the beat playing in the studio lol
This my shit!! 🔥🔥🔥 Pimp had the best intro verse and Bun followed up with the haymaker
Bro I didn’t know you hadn’t reacted to this yet. Thanks from H-Town! 🤘🏾💪🏾❤️
Bun dropped a Top 5er on this one.
I know I played it 30 times straight back in ‘96 lol
That whole album is sick! Every songs goes crazy.
Been waiting on you to discover this masterpiece!!!
I'm a country boy from the top of the south in central Kentucky. Im a fan of all regions in rap/hip hop music. In 98, I moved to Brooklyn, NYC with my sister & her dude that's from there. I took all my cds, mostly artists from the south with me. My friends, my sisters dude, and his family up there fell in love with the shit I had, including this album. They didn't know that, in the words of Andre' 3000, "The South got something to say!"
Murder one of the hardest tracks made
I saw UGK in concert in 1992 when they had just came out with "Too Hard To Swallow." Straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I listen to this song at least 4 times a day. The flow was jus on point, i discovered this song back in 2018 and been listenin since
Man, this album came out damn near 30 years ago and I go back to it at random times throughout the years specifically for Bun B's verse then I end up playing the rest of the album over and over for the next 3 or 4 days.
This whole album is legendary and They definitely Murdered that track !!

This is hands down Bun’s best verse of all time.

One of my fav beats all time and bun verse a classic!
They been on they G shit rest n paradise to pimp C too this generation really needs to tighten up with music fr
I’m from Louisiana and was in Junior High first time I heard UGK. Front, Back, Side to Side, Pocket Full of Stones but when “Ridin Dirty” dropped it made me proud to be where I was from. Port Arthur is on the Louisiana Texas border along I-10 and I know they both have family in Louisiana so culturally I understood the organ Pimp used in the beats like we usually only heard in church and related to what they were saying especially Pimp about they don’t respect South so “we don’t need yall, since Hip Hop started in NY, we don’t make hip hop this Country Rap Tunes.” Also not sure how true but I’ve heard in several places “Ridin Dirty” was one of 2 PAC’s favorite albums. Also after UGK & 3-6 did “Sippin on Syrup” they were going to start a group Underground Mafia but Pimp soon went to jail and never materialized. How dope would that have been?
Ugk, 🎱ball & mjg, tela, goodie mob
Classic rap
been listening to UGK since 93 got on from the menace 2 society soundtrack!

They compliment each other well!!! Bun a lyrical assassin while Pimp giving you that raw both through his lyrics and production!!! Long live the Pimp!!!
Back front back, is a major track Pocket full of stones, was their first major hit.
Lolz He said "You can't see me, Marcus!"
I always wondered who was Marcus that couldn’t see Bun mentioned at the end of the verse lol. Classic. Their masterpiece if you ask me.
