    Hi Bazooka Joe! I am 50 years old and have been training kickboxing for a year. In sparring, the young ones used to easily pass through my guard because I was squared and stationary. In the last training session, i utilized this strategy and had great success. A thousand thanks!

    I see this a lot with Japanese kickboxers, most notably Yuki Yoza. Its amazing seeing them be in that closer range mixing in punches and kicks back n forth. Its not even just throwing something out there blindly, their placement and timing are aspirational.

    It´s effective in MMA because with the divided time most people have ,specially grapplers like me, learn to use the shell better than advanced ways to dealing with strikes, leave alone head movement that may take a lot of experience and timing for many people.
    Thanks for sharing, I´ll put it to the test.
