Let’s not forget that Charles had also lost his friend Jules and his dad, I can’t imagine how gutted he must have been to see this happen to another friend
Jules Bianchi was more than his friend, he was Charles’ godfather if I recall correctly. It makes his win in Monaco this year all the more special, 10 years after Jules scored points for the old Manor team at the same track.
@@laferrari3027man
Yea I was gonna say you could make a whole video on leclercs friends and family passing right before his eyes
He didn’t even sign for sauber when his dad passed away but he said he did to make his dad proud of him in his dads last moments
@@ShimoFan999 he told his father he signed for _Ferrari_ before he died
Seems F1 has gotten so safe now, we almost forgot how dangerous it was and still is in some ways
Sadly, it took severe outcomes for them to happen.
@@wrestlingstuffv2 it usually does
@@wrestlingstuffv2 yes, half of it was because of the technology not being as advanced and the other because many people involved only cared about the money, not safety
Bro its always dangerous there will never be a time when it isent ....You cant think like that .
Take it from someone who has lost all 3 of his favorite drivers
Dale
Senna
An hopefully not anytime soon The Michael .
You know the worst part? Some of the things that caused the deaths in the past could still happen today.
Leclerc's win this year at Monaco was specially touching. He broke his "homeland curse" in great style, and the podium saw the usually protocolar Prince Albert himself singing out the national anthem in tears.
Rest in peace Anthoine! Gone but unforgettable! Respect for blurring the crash out of respect!
It still feels like yesterday since that happened
Not showing a blurry image would've been classier.
Just no image
@@KenzieRetro yeah i was only 17 at the time and it shocked me.
It's not respect, he's just scared of youtube.
blurring the crash out of not wanting to be demonetized I think you meant to say?
Senna's win at Interlagos in 91 was an iconic drive even with the gearbox problems, that proved that Senna was a masterclass even with a wounded car and that podium was one of his most iconic moments.
So was Clark in 1965, he had to drive around old Spa with one hand, to hold the gearleaver in place with the other. And he won, by over 2min!!
So was Schumacher in 1995. He had to drive a whole race stuck in 5th gear and yet manged to get 2nd place.
Michael was the driver who was behind Senna when his tragic crash happened and won that race.
I do not blame Michael for breaking down crying there, but big credit to Mika for asking the media to give him some time to get his emotions together after Michael began to sob
Michael and Mika had a lot of sympathy and respect for each other. I liked this time in F1 very much 🏎
16:59 “if this is the price I had to pay to win in Brazil than it was cheap” for some reason that quote hit hard
I think Imola 2003 was also very emotional. Schumacher's mother have passed away just a few hours before the race, and both Schumachers had a tough race but they managed to race well, Michael won the grand prix, and Ralf finished 4th. Michael then did take part in the podium ceremony (obviously in a solid way, he nearly cried), but then in the press conference after the race, in the name of him Jean Todt gave the interviews.
If Michael had not participated in that race, he may have lost the season championship (i think, that’s what i saw)
Micheal Schumacher, gone but not forgotten...
Ummm don’t tell me you forgot 1994 Imola 😢
I will never forget that year in racing 2012,what a line up of talent. I also wish to say R.I.P to all the drivers we have lost over the years. Like the guy said earlier in a post, racing is so safe know that we forget how dangerous it is. Great video, take care regards Scott.
Schumi was not only crying because of that. Senna died in front of him while racing at imola.
Edit:
Let me clarify something for everyone as it doesn't seem to be so. I didn't state in the above comment that this interview happened right after the race as it was held in 2000 (Senna died in 94). Schumi reacted like this due to breaking another record of Senna whom he's quite fond of, if you do a bit of research into his early career. I didn't mean to confuse or offend anybody with the above comment and sorry if it wasn't straight forward for everyone. I merely tried to show some sympathy.
He tried to kill others so crocodile tears
@@kevinsynott4380 If you have nothing nice to say, then don't say it. I was trying to show some love, you are trying to stir an argument.
@@kevinsynott4380 you RETARD
@@kevinsynott4380id10t
He did drive dirty but he never tried to kill someone
Charles lost his dad, his godfather and his friends.. He was in so much pain, and he won races in their name. Amazing.
I'm not even into F1 at all, but here I am, crying on 2 am watching a video about guys driving really fast cars
It's always extremely sad when the world loses young and passionate guys. RIP Anthoine
I think we can add 2015 Hungarian GP, with Vettel dedicated his win to Jules
Also Gasly in Monza 2020
He cried a lot
It was still the 2014 japanese grand prix where Jules died.
@@hp98416
Of course he did, because he didnt expect to ever win a race an Alpha Tauri car, but nobody still died that day.
and ricciardo on podium who was a close friend of jules
9:30 made me cry... even if i wasnt even at these times alive i can feel Schumacher's voice crumbling inside him. He is not dead bit he isnt the same...
I believe the current news from his family is that he's alive, but he's not the same person, his spark has gone. I get the impression that he doesn't really have much memory and his personality has gone. Which, if true, is incredibly sad. I was never a fan, but I do wish the best for him, he was an incredibly talented driver and seemed like a good person.
The thumbnail is the craziest part of the video
outrageous
@@HiZapp9I’d say disrespectful?
Average DailyFuelUp video thumbnail
Best clickbait in years 😢
yeah it does seem quite disrespectful i can't lie
For ppl that want an unblurred version of the SPA crash don't understand how 1. disrespectful that can be to people who knew Hubert, 2. No heads were rolling, but probably other parts were and lastly 3. You can find more an indepth commentary on the subreddit r/formula1.
Thank you for this video though!
I've seen the uncensored...its not pretty. You can see his limp body just ragdolling in the car after the Collision... dear lord.
@@Giratina575 I believe you honestly. There was no chance of survival. RIP
@@Stylisticish yeah despite how much safer these cars have gotten. Theres really not much that can be done to protect drivers from a direct impact through the side without changing the entire design of an f1 car
@@Giratina575 actually there is a considerable amount of protection from side impacts - but the entire structure is only meant to protect against one impact. Not only was this crash severe, the survival cell of Hubert’s car had already been compromised because he had hit the barrier at 216kph with a force of 33g before being hit by Correa.
@@valerierodger i did not know that. Sheesh thats awful luck
It still breaks me how we lost Anthoine Hubert... Far, far too young.
Charles did him proud that weekend.
Alonso in the whole 2012 season was just something else. What he managed to get out of that car, to take it to the last race and finish only 3 points behind Vettel really solidified to me the level of talent he has.
There’s an awful lot of recency bias for a video whose title includes “of all time”
It’s also worth mentioning that the big part of why Schumacher was so emotional was because he was racing Senna when Senna died. Mika was on the podium with him for that race as well. Also, moments after that clip ends, Ralf did put his arm around his brother.
16:47 Senna saying "then I felt happy to be alive" hits hard...
Of all time? So nothing very emotional before 1991? Roger Williamson burning to death in his car and David Purley trying to help him wasn't emotional? And neither was it when Didier Pironi asking Dr. Watkins to save his legs? Or Niki Lauda racing for the first time after his almost fatal accident? Or the expressions of Siegried Stohr after hitting a mechanic in the chaotic start of 1981 Belgian GP? Just to name a few
Jfc just make your own video man, we'd want to see it for sure.
@@noobatron2663 My English pronunciation is so bad I rather not. Or maybe, if you'll pay me enough for it.
@@laakeri84 Plenty of RUclipsrs make content without very fluent English. As long as you're coherent you should be fine
@@noobatron2663 So now I just need the money, because time is money and making a video takes a plenty of time.
Roger williamson’s accident is one of the most depressing things I’ve ever seen
There was another driver in F2 that died the next year after Antoine he was from the Netherlands...
And we cannot forget about Jules and his accident in Japan. 😢
That was Formula 4 and it was 2023 I believe
What is even the point of F2 till F4 is they're not promoted enough by the FIA. MotoGP does it right. Rookie Race (seperate) Moto 3 to 2, then Moto GP.@freiheitstraumer7352
I was sitting on the hill where the crash happened with Antoine, right before our eyes. I remember all screens going black and just silence and awe in the crowd.
Feel like your list is missing a lot of the most emotional moments, possibly because you're new to the sport (you've focussed on the last 12 years basically). Far more emotional ones are Rubens Barrichello and THAT podium? 1994 Imola (2 deaths that weekend)? Jules Bianchi? JB 2011? Damon Hill 1994? Murray Walkers last race?
I do miss Murray Walker's commentary. He was the voice of F1 for me
"We were all on the edge of our seats".....dude, you wasn't even born!
I shall never forget all the F1 legends that have passed. All were amazing, Ayrton Senna was the best of the best. 1st May 1994 was the day I stopped watching F1 forever. Roland Ratzenburger 30th April 1994 and my hero Aurton Senna Da Silva, the next day.
Always one lap ahead and forever on the Podium.
Rest easy Legends. X
I stopped watching after that weekend too.... it was awful.
This is great! Well done!
The greatest moment in F1 is when you win a race in front of your own home crowd. Senna did it, Schumi did it, Vettel did it, Alonso did it, Hamilton did it, Webber did it, Button did it, Leclerc did it, Lando did it, Verstappen did it. It's just a wholesome ❤
Totally can't imagine how Trauma Juan Manuel had faced after know driver he hit was killed.
Totally sorry for him. Such unavoidable
And in 2021 he was back in an F3 car, and from 2023 he was back in F2. That takes mental strength and titanium balls.
@charamia9402 What a long time to recover 🤧
@@x-rinanimationchannel3687 Both legs broken - one of them crushed I believe. A lot of healing, physical therapy and training to get the strength back. And that's just the physical part of it, mentally it must have been a bit of work too. He literally raced the same track two years later.
the alonso to schumacher to hamilton segue was brilliant well done
your thumbnail is so disrespectful af
Ye at least a bit , unfortunately that's the game
mate, you dont need to blur these videos... Most of it not all are all accessible publicly and are on the official replays.
Third docu in a row from you to me (Maldonado and Kubica before)... Brought tears in this 60-year old fart...
Youre my new F1-hero, Great docus!!!
Youve obviously made a few more, so... Lots of unknown chocolates still left in the box😊
Thanx for sharing 🙏
Love from Sweden 💖
Did my man really say Ferrari hasn’t been any better than Mercedes this year? That’s entirely factually incorrect…
Bro, excellent video, you can tell you put your heart and soul in your productions. 🏁🏆🙏🇯🇲
I remember Martin Brundle saying that his scariest moments were not when flipping through the air during a crash, but when he was stationary on the track and cars going around him at speed.
Bouncing debris (e.g. Davidson, Massa, Surtees, etc) was probably not far behind in terms of dangerous situations, but at least the halo solves a lot of that (maybe not Massas's accident though).
Roman Grosjean risin up from the flames is the winning emotional moment ever.
Mark Webber is the man, he didn’t just have to beat the other teams but also his own. What a great driver, not bad an acrobatics to. ❤
We arn't children, so why blur out footage?
R.I.P. Aryton Senna, R.I.P. Anthoine, R.I.P. Roland Retzenburger, Schumacher went through pain
ralf not knowing what to do when michael was crying is so siblings coded 😭
"his brother didn’t know where to hide"
I hope Charles will be champion one day, maybe next year.
“Ferrari hasn’t looked much better” I’m sorry, the Ferrari that won Monaco, Monza and 1-2 at Austin? the Ferrari that would have joined Charles on the podium at Baku if Carlos and Checo hadn’t crashed? The Ferrari that are threatening to make RB 3rd in the WCC?
ALO, RAI and MSC have history, so, the interesting thing about the '12 Valencia podium is that that order ONLY happened twice.
*Doofenschmirtz meme intensifies*
I was not emotionally prepared to watch this video! 😢
Blurring the video is stupid 🤷 it's disrespectful to hide the truth from anybody.
"There are only three sports; bull fighting, motor racing and mountaineering. The rest are merely games" - Ernest Hemingway.
I want to be an f1 driver when I grow up
It is statistically next to impossible. There's less than a 0.0001% chance.
Seeing Schumy cry is enough to make us all cru
I don't understand why you don't have more likes and subscribers. You are doing a great job and I hope you will keep going! Thanks for the great content.
If anyone wants to know what happened to antoine hubert. His body was cut in half in the crash. He never made it. The doctors could not stabelize the trauma. The damage was too severe and extensive throughout the body to save him.
Putting him back together with our medical technology is absolutely impossible with in that short time.
Why do a documentary on such a tragic event, then blur out the actual incident.?
Senna casually called his home race win "cheap", what a man
Possibly with the context of the amount of lives being lost / safety concerns at that time, the weight of his statement hits harder.
Great vid, but the thumbnail is a new low..........
14:30 that's hell of a words to say how great lewis is in this era surpass many of legendary drivers and still being the greatest of all time ❤🛐 my man
Btw, the quali in 2019 spa was before the f2 feature race
Let's not forget that Schumacher was right behind Senna when his steering rack broke. It would have been horrific.
What's with the blurred video?
That Lewis in the thumbnail is hilarous 😂
16:13 this could NOT happen today with the marshals on the track like that wow
Senna winning in interlagos was emotional, but to me, what was above that, was the race he gave up, to help another driver who had an accident. putting himself at risk to do what he could for another.
Erik Comas ... think its was the year before.
1992@@_B.M_
I am actually so excited for Max and Lewis this year
Small observation... 18:01 to 18:07, not 2010 Abu Dhabi. Ferrari nose is from 2012, not to mention in 2010 teams were still using Bridgestone tyres not Pirelli as the video shows.
Fascinating, how realities of life are made out of focus in a documentary. Let us all pretend life is safe, dull and boring.
I LOVE LECLERCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
I watched Hamilton's win at Silverstone live. I was so proud of him too considering his time with Mercedes is coming to an end after all these years.
Massa in 2008 on the podium in brazil is even more than all of these combined
For me forever will be Charles 1st win be at Monza 2019 … As Charles said in Spa… this one is for Anthoine … Unbelievable how much Charles had to cope with in 5 years 2014 Jules crash coma for months then his passing still probably racing during that time then 2017 losing his dad but then 3 days later he wins the f2 feature race and then winning his 1st win a day after Anthoine passed away he has such a mental strength its unbelievable and even under pressure he can perform winning Monza twice and finally winning Monaco… hopefully next year he gets that Championship not just for Ferrari or us Tifosi but for everything he had to go through in his still young life
Sebastian's voice after 20:17 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's not his voice, it his emotional voice
If you don’t want to show the crashes - DON’T show them out of focus. What’s the point?? Lewis is almost 40. He’s certainly NOT the next Schumacher at Ferrari. He’s done. But always legendary.
watch live leak if yo uwanna see people die
12:11 you missed Lando’s pit box mistake

How so? It doesn't seem that crazy honestly.
@@zachcaraballo4812 because you are a degenerate-
Thumbnail is crazy tho
this actually fucked up the FIA must change this rule if aomone dies which is related to F1 drivers they shouldn't go up to the podium
Im very sorry to all those F1 drivers which had to go through that pain off losing someone very close I've never had to go through that pain and also to does other people which have lost someone
I feel very sorry for Charles i dont even know how he can do this after losing a very close friend. This is why i adore Charles and is my favourite driver he's just a young, kind(most of the time),handsome
(im sorry for such a long comment)
2:07 rip 🪦 ❤️😢
Let’s also not forget, he watched Senna crash to his death from like 20 meters away.
the closest i have ever been to any car sport is a norwegian game called "flåklypa grand prix" it was a realy popular game back in the day in norway featuring a lot of characters from the norwegian kid movie that had the same name (it hold the top spot for most watched movie of all time for like 40+ years in norway showing how popular it was here) and its a movie adults can realy easly enjoy to.
All good things comes to a end
16:47 lowkey was a mistake to not put the lifting of the trophy, the one hand after all that , that really makes this race a lot more emocional
There are much more emotional moments.
Lauda returning 41 days, after beeing burned alive and getting 4th place.
Michaels (would be) pole from Monaco 2012
All the live aired accidents.... just saying, there are so many more, could be a 10 part series.
Oi, whats wrong with your editing softwares? All the interesting bits are blurry. Why? You can see them in 4k hi-def evuriwear elsk
Nobody wants to see a fatal crash in a video they randomly clicked on. That might come off as sensitive content for some.
That's probably why it's blurred here.

Those F2 cameras have some very serious focus issues during crashes...
the problem for webber in 2010 was that he scrapped the wall and damaged his front right tire. so webber had to pit to have any hope of winning the wdc
Of all time/of the last 20 years...
10:00 Shumi and Senna always get me
R.I.P
Motorsport is dangerous, go to any circuit and you are warned about it on every fence, safety is the saftest it has ever been, but its still dangerous, they choose not to die but know the risks
Couldnt see a thing, everything was blurred.
I have no idea if the crashes were as bad as its said. Havent been able to see one race from start to finuish after Senna died. My interest for this sport completely shattered after his passing.
I will forever blame the FIA for Hubert's death. It was an inevatible result of F1's runoff instead of gravel obsession. Just like the dutch driver last year. Also i can't stand how they say Leclerc's motivation was the reason he won. We all know it was an illegal engine after all. Without the engine cheat we wouldn't say: He won cause the death of his friend motivated him. Nice way of covering cheating. Very respectfull towards Hubert aswell.
i sure do miss those all black mercs
Dude poor Charles lelrec and Pierre gasly, every year Pierre gasly go to the spot Hubert crashed and placed flowers😢 and Jules was Charles friend and Charles has a Papa(his dad that died) and Jules on his helmet and a Hubert name on Charles car
Damn bro you got me Goosebumps 10:14 😭🛐
