pete and bea is the best andertons duo
this channel needs more Bea
Pete and Ariel are great too
@@HylianCheshire yep. I'd love to have 1% of the skill of anyone here
Pete and Rabea could be playing ukeleles with one string and I would still love it. But these guitars sound great.
More Béa and Pete!
I've been an enormous fan of rabea since I started playing. He's my favorite guitarist. But I'm so impressed with the chemistry him and pete have as players when they jam.
Im always nicely surprised how good Pete plays, when paired with Bea. Im not huge fan of his style when Pete plays on his own or with those like Ariel ...
Why is there a but at the start of your last sentence?
I have a Strat with an ever tune bridge and I freakin love it! NEVER goes out of tune and great sustain. Intonation is great over the entire neck. Bend strings to extremes and comes back into perfect tune. Game-changer for me.
I’ve got the evertune on my tele deluxe. Haven’t tuned it for months haha. The freedom it gives you as a frontman at gigs. No wasted time tuning up. Aspecially on a hot day on an outdoor stage in direct sunlight. I can play the whole gig without once checking if it’s in tune. I know it is.
You haven't changed your strings in months?
Ancient Thoughts about 3 months to be exact. The wonders of Elixir strings and fast fret. Oh and an evertune bridge.
@@croggers1 Elixirs for life hell yeah
If you ever need a reminder that the player is the most important part of “tone,” watch Pete and Bea. Doesn’t matter what they have in their hands, you know it’s going to sound amazing
You guys make me smile every time I see you! I then I hear you play. I’m blown away by you two anytime you get together. Keep up the good work gents!
@5:33 "hey there, Anxiety. Didn't expect to see you here"
Recently bought the mh-1000 with evertune. Its such a clever system.. you literally set up the tuning on the bridge once and forget about it.
If an idea for a riff comes to mind you just grab the guitar and record, no time wasted checking tunings and whatnot.
I bought a used honeyburst EC-1000ET for $700 and slapped a set of Fishman Fluence Devin Townsend signature pickups in it. It instantly became my favorite guitar. I can't imagine getting another hardtail without Evertune.
The Evertune bridge only takes a few minutes to set up and it stays in tune. Big name Companys please offer Evertune models because other than my tremelo guitars i cannot live without it anymore.
I'm digging that burst that Pete's playing and it has nothing to do with the fact it looks exactly like my LTD
I have a collection of 13 guitars. 3 of them are Evertuned. Those three are pretty much the only guitars I play anymore.
I leave them in E, Eb, and Drop D. This covers pretty much all of the songs that I do. Would love to convert a few more of my guitars so I keep hoping that used bridges keep showing up on Ebay, Reverb, Etc. I love knowing that the guitar is in tune anytime that I pick it up. Recording guitar tracks goes much faster.
I got an Evertune retrofitted into my Gibson Les Paul. Best decision I've ever made. Stands toe-to-toe with the Kemper as the biggest revolution for guitars in a long time.
Can you do bends?
Jim Regan yes. You have different “zones”. Zone 1 is everything below the note you set as your string tuning, for example E or whatever. Zone 2 is basically where you string will not bend, even if you wanted it to. As you turn the tuning peg tighter you rise up through zone 2 and into zone 3. Zone 3 is everything above your desired pitch (F onwards for example) but you don’t want to go higher than that. Instead you back it off to the edge of zone 2 and 3. Think of where you are in zone 2 as bend sensitivity. The lower you are the less sensitive and the more bending you have to do before the note starts to go sharp as it would on a regular guitar.
Had mine for 2 years and wouldn’t change a thing.
Whatever that jazzy tune was at 9m45s that Rabea started and Pete jumps in on that groove and you both alternate solos and rhythm, that was special. Wish I heard more of that style when people demo guitars than typical metal shreds...
I have the KSM M-7 evertune model. The bridge is just insane.
Favorite vid I've seen in a while! Thanks guys for getting my Friday off to a great start.
Bea's got such a monster tone… amazing!
Just bought a Balaguer Thicket with the Evertune and this video helped a lot
Also the LTD fit and finish is awesome. The Pickups sound great.
I love my EC1000ET. Have had it for 3 years, only had to adjust the tuning a few times.
have you had any problems with the bends? or once you get used to it its like a normal bridge? just curious
You guys just kill
It every time!
I have just ordered the honey burst as a birthday present one and can't wait it.
I love the Evertune on my Sterling Majesty. Had it fitted and have never looked back. Totally agree with the having never broken a string with it either. It’s very forgiving on the player and ‘releases’ you from the tyranny of poor tuning. Again, agree with another tuber regarding a far quicker setup time when you’re in a hurry. I’m currently having a True Temperament fretboard system fitted to cure my overly sensitive ear!
They are great guitars! I have had one for a couple years.
Thanks guys Andertons
Volume knob configuration is the same arrangement as the PRS DGT model, at David Grissom's express request (of course). You can find him demo'ing/explaining it -- makes a lot of sense when he demonstrates.
The Evertune bridges are a pretty neat invention. The first time I heard about them was a rig rundown for New Found Glory and Chad Gilbert had the Evertune on his Les Paul Customs.
Jesus, have you seen the video on installation? They gotta cut out a monster chunk of wood to make room. Customs are 5 or 6 K right?
That intro jam was FIRE
I got this guitar with dark quilted maple ...amazing guitar ..evertune ..i wish i could put one on all my guitars ..its amazing
Adam West was the best batman!
word!
"Somedays you just can't seem to get rid of a bomb!"
“...Pizza delivery man, prepare to meet your maker, at the hands of my cat-launcher”
Best live action Batman, no doubt.
My personal favourite is Kevin Conroy, from the animated series.
The Only Batman
The opening jam though 😍
Evertunes are great. I have 2 of them. 👍🏻👍🏻
That middle jam was fantastic!
This is the first I've heard of the Evertune. What a great development. Saves time, you never have to tune during a show. And the side benefit of having to listen to less bitching from the pianist.
Came for the review, stayed for the jams. Wow!
Great demo guys.awesome jams!it really gets a my blood flowing early in the morning.way better than coffee, and I love my coffee.sweet jams!pete's my favorite of all time, but what a team!
Comme d'hab magnifique pete and rebea...Merci les gars...un peu de joie et de bien être dans cette vie merdique et tjrs les bienvenus...Big fan from morocco
That was a terrific "Bane." And so true. That film should have been Subtitled.
I have the black with EMGs version. It's super nice. Mine is on loan currently to another player named Pete.
A good take away is every small studio should have one. But buy the best strings and keep them clean. String changes are a bit more time consuming. But tuning and studio problem solving make up by far these minor issues. Layering tracks is a HUGE benefit.
So entertaining watching you two in the same video!
Great duo! Rock on.
Also using an Evertune system it means once the guitar is all set up its perfect intonation all up and down the neck....even taking it from a cold environment to a hot one the Evertune bridge will keep the guitar in perfect tune.....Devon Townsend got a great RUclips clip of him explaining the system in depth.....
The tone at 9:00 is literally my dream clean tone
Love a bit of Nile Rogers
I spit out my lemonade at 4:40 lol. Keep up the good work Bea!
Just AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sweet feet! Just got a ec-1000 Koa and these LTD’s are excellent. The quality is top notch. These are pro spec guitars. I went to get a Gibson LP and left with the esp Ltd instead. It wasn’t a choice based on price but rather QC and sound. Couldn’t find an LP in the shop that didn’t need some work before it was ready but the Ltd was good to go. Unless I went with one of the super expensive LPs there were flaws. Esp Ltd for me...
Great first jam, just the right amount of grange hill in that riff baby
Absolutely awesome 🎸🤘
@ 4:08 "...with Bane as Tom Hardy..." 😎
Good jam!
evertune is the best thing every since guitar itself :)
Been dying to see you pair jam 😁
Ice to see you!
I think that bridge would mess me up, but the pickups sound great.
Epic final!!🤘🤘🤘
Well nice video but I don't have tuning issues with my 2 long staying electric guitars since mid 1990s. I can down pick at 168 bpm or use my vintage style Fender tremolo as Jimi or whatever. I still don't have tuning issues so that feature is kind of waste full to me besides the freedom to do a drop E to D.
If you open the subtitle submission function, I will happily write down the Chinese translation and hopefully more people will watch your videos.
9:50 awesomeness overload
Ilove those ESP LTD. There is a reason you see almost all touring metal bands playing those. Best value for the price.
Fun video guys.
And a cool way to avoid that "shorter" 24.75 in scale length detune on heavy strokes, like you say.
Q. What pedal does Rabea kick in at 10:19 ???
Cool fuzz tone.
Lovely jam at 11mins ish!!!
Fine review of a finely crafted guitar. It would have been valuable to hear your opinion of the playability of the neck. I guess I'll find out soon enough. Mine's supposed to arrive next week. Not bragging. Literally my first new guitar in over 50 years. Really looking forward to it. A work of art.
You two, should be the only ones doing demos.
I had an older EC-1000 Deluxe... didnt like the gaudy binding on it. These look a lot better.
Evertune + True Temperament next please.. :D
1/4th of that price is the retail price of the bridge!
I need one of those because I play really hard
Crackin' looking guitars them, superior to Gibsons.
I have the wet dream that Evertune will come with the perfect tremolo bridge
Well, they say that they're working on it BUT who knows when they'll get it down perfect
But the evertune is the exact opposite of a tremolo. It's countering tension-changes
@@ayeapprove Obviously but they're trying to make one like a floyd rose that never needs the fine tuners or a locking nut
@@wesleyzimmerman94 if they can get rid of the knife-edge of tremolos it would be possible to keep it in tune somehow, but look at how Kahler tried it and didn't really become relevant.
I wish there was a LOVE button for your comment
Best jamming in a long time!
Mr. Frost lol, love you guys
You just nailed eagles of death metal right at the end haha
Hope you'll stock up on these
Once you've noticed the size of Bea's hands compared to Pete's, you just can't unsee it.
41DegreesSouth same withthe hair
I come for the Epic Deal, I stay for the Epic Jams!...
The epic deal was that Bane impression! 😂😂😂
Can it adjust for equal temperament on a d chord ? If so sign me up
Pete's technique reminds me of Jimmy Page. He alwyas plays in different quirky styles, puts a lot of character on every note and he pushes his playing if he's not feeling it and needs to kick it into gear. Being a huge JP fan, I imagine that's what draws me to Pete. He's my personal favorite here on Anderton's TV and beyond...
Shocking that vintage colored single cuts with evertunes had to go on blowout :P
I didnt know they made them in these colors so I'm assuming by the sale neither did anyone else.
Not a lot of interest in the evertune thing. It's really intrusive ( takes a huge route) and that turns a lot of people off. I think that's why these sound thin.
@@jefflitchfield4950 This seemed like more of a demonstration of the bridge than any genuine attempt to dial in the amps and make these guitars sound "fat". I don't think there's a lack of interest in the Evertune. I do think there is a lack of higher end guitars that come with it coupled with the vast majority of folks not willing to permanently modify their high end guitars to check it out, and that's a lot of potential players who just won't bother. If the Floyd Rose was released today and only came on $1000 range Korean guitars it would likely be met with similar talking points and apprehensiveness. I've had three Evertune equipped guitars. Two LTD's and one Pro Series Framus. The LTDs were to test it out for myself as see if it was just some gimmicky piece of hardware. All three guitars are mahogany body/maple top/maple necks/same model ET bridge/same rear route. The LTDs are both lighter and less acoustically resonant (thinner) than the Framus. I believe the primary reason for this is the thick plastic-like finish on the LTDs. The Framus is one the nicest guitars I have ever owned. Sorry for the essay! ;)
I'm confused, it the string saddle is moving back/forwards, as Pete said, how come it doesn't either put your intonation out, or do you have to set it all up and then do the intonation?
Ace.
Does the ET bridge have any negative effect on the tone or sustain? Cheers!
Pete trying to explain things is quite comical.
He is Danish, he can't help it... :-)
When are you two gonna do a UK Santana tribute tour
fuckin love this guitar...
....it plays so much like a les paul...but much better in almost every way
What's Rabea playing at 9:05?
We need more Pete and Rabea videos!!
For a tuning update stay tuned
how does intonation not get affected by the saddles moving?
9:55 if you make an album together I buy in pre-order
This
Sounds like get lucky by daft punk
I came here for the evertune, stayed for this jam
Can you review the ltd st213 ??
How does it handle alternate tunings?
They look like some nice Les Paul copies sound cool.
So how do you tune it in like drop D or say a C tuning?
Nice thar Bea likes Jon Lajoie!
What’s that amp under the Orange Terror?
I’m curious.. How would you say the EC-1000’s with the Seymour Duncan’s sound compared to say a Les Paul Standard? Are they at all close? Realistically.. small differences can be managed by amp settings/pedals…
Will an ltd sound like a Gibson if it had gibson pickups installed in it? I prefer ltds better necks Gibson's differently win on the looks department but then again you would spend 2000k plus on one with a finish as nice as the ltd which is probably a veneer
Lets create a petition to create a time machine and send Rabea back to 1969 and perform on Woodstock.. :) No, i have no idea how a petition would help ................. but it's worth a shot!
