      My man, you are legitimately a fucking powerhouse. Best Blender content I've ever seen. It's off-putting how funny your zingers are too, tutorials are either funny and slow or boring and good but these are funny, fast, and good. There is a very, very bright future ahead of you. For those making more complex walls (towers, castles, or whatever) if your bricks seem to be distorted right at the beginning, you need to add a Texture Coordinates + UV Mapping node and use the UVs you would have unwrapped before.

    Maybe this is in the comments somewhere, but I can't find it.

    • @TheRoyalSkies
      @TheRoyalSkies  4 года назад

      1: You'll need to attach the brick node to a mapping and coordinate node and change "position" to place it where you want.
      2: You can duplicate the brick node and use that to control color while the original is just used for displacement.
      Hope that helps!

    I wonder if its wise to fry your graphic card with this procedural brick texture, when its easy to do a PBR brick texture.
    That one is really slowing down my computer. I have heard that you'd better not play with multiple noise texture set to the highest level of detail (16). Slows down the render too...

    • @TheRoyalSkies
      @TheRoyalSkies  4 года назад

    Ah yes, the near-perfect tutorial. Quick and to the point but all info is easily heard and visible for pausing and going back to reference. Enjoyable to listen to. Some "but wait, theres more!" infomercial style "extra". Though... you lost me with all the subscribe mentions. If I went out for dinner and my waiter came over to the table and was like "Hey there, heres our specials, I'll go get your drinks, and don't forget to tip!", I would be like... bro... Only to come back while I am eating, bend down and whisper into my ear "...don't forget to tip" and walks away. Then as we are getting ready to leave was like "Thanks for coming, go ahead and smash my tip down on the table real quick and come back soon and be sure to tell your friends to ask for me but to bring cash because I hate dealing with credit cards", I would tell him to get bent. I know how youtube works.
    Aside from that, you are doing fine work here. Keep at it.
