On the dry and dusty road.. It's 1973 but in my mind it's still 1966 and my custom Lambretta SX200 is flat out pulling 60 mph on the way to Hastings on the B roads on a bright and sunny bank holiday Monday.. the wind in my hair and Julie on the back, and 40 scooters behind me.. we see the coastline for the first time, the pier is in view and we all let out a big cheer.. one of the best ever memories

Thank you so much for this! I have waited for you to upload some classics on your channel. Great song by The Who, I like! Does anyone know what is the meaning of this song?

4nza Go listen to the Quadrophenia album, then you'll get the meaning.

I know what it means to me, yet for the writers, possibly a struggle, and they are wanting love to rule their decisions and outcome, only a guess, an intense song, my fave of theirs.
