Beautiful wife and I got out to an awesome backroad campground and tested out the ice fishing shelter camping during a snowfall warning. There was probably about 10 inches of snow by the morning of the first night. Made an emergency run into town to bulk up our supplies in case we got snowed in. We stayed a couple nights and had a blast!

This man was so happy and content doing what he loves with the people he loves. It breaks my heart Steve and I hope the memories you've created sustain you while you deal with such a tragedy. I've never seen the beautiful wife on camera but may she rest in peace.

This might be a weird one, but thank you for consistently saying both the Fahrenheit and the Celsius degrees together. My sense of how F equates to C is so much better since watching your vids. No one else seems to consistently say both, and just having that has been a nice subtle and easy association-training for me. 😅
FYI formulas for conversion- C to F multiply by 1.8 and then add 32. F to C subtract 32 then divide by 1.8.
Canadians (unofficially) use both measurements

I'm so glad they got to do this in this beautiful spot given what came in the future. I'm sure Steve treasures these memories.
My dad and I used to camp on some land he bought in a great southern MO area next to a river. We would do foil pouches with smoked sausage and zucchini, spiced up with Cholula. His Cocker spaniel would beg and then make the funniest faces when we fed her. Dad died in January and I treasure those memories.
I love that you refer to your spouse as “beautiful wife” it’s nice to see a man appreciate and show adoration for his wife!

On my honeymoon, I took my husband to a fishing resort and spent six days fishing. Kudos to YOU, Beautiful Wife, for having a hunker with your bestest dude! My hubby passed away after 20+ years of marriage, but watching you two reminds me of the good times!

I really enjoy watching your episodes for survival. I spent over a year living in a tent along the fence row of my fathers abandoned property (sold to developers) and a farmers field who lived half a mile away. One night each week I would carry water (two five gallon buckets) from another neighbors adjacent property in the wee hours of the am. I donated plasma for cash. I was in heaven. I could go to the truck stop and watch tv when it got unbearably cold. I never started a fire ever. And if I could I would do it again in a heartbeat. Take care! rz

After walking ten miles to get food after offering all of my "work friends" money for a ride because my truck is broke down, i need your videos before i freak out! My best true friend is my terrier pitbull. I recommend this breed to everyone! Loyal, quiet, cuddles a ton and needs to play a bunch! Very social pups.
I have worked with many of them and they are the sweetest of the breeds. I enjoy them all.

Um nope. Steve is not the only one who enjoys camping in all sorts of stormy weather. The exception would be a nasty duststorm of course.
Steve has such a cavalier attitude...cougars, horrendous snow, starting a fire with...you never know what the "fuel" will be. Then just bunch up the tent & toss in the trunk. Rock on Steve, rock on.

I watched this video sometime ago but I got a new computer with a super graphic card and the picture, the scenery was so much clearer, just magnificent. I had no idea what a difference a great graphic card would make when I drag the video over to my HD TV. The scenery was so beautiful the first time - the lake, the mountains and trees across the lake - but this time with the white snow on the conifers - just so beautiful. I may have to go back and watch more of his camping videos with this new computer.
Lol...I do that when I house/pet sit at a clients house where they have a big TV and can use you tube.
