My Goodness!!! Never have I seen this explained any better!!! Thank you so much for you knowledge and especially sharing it with us. Thank you and God bless. 🙏🏽 I hope and I look forward to more videos. 😌👍🏽 You really are a Pro!!!
i don't know how to thank u. it took me lots of effort and time to try to understand this, and were all in vain until i saw your video u r a genius that deserves all good things thanks tonnnnnnnnns
Omg God bless you sis you asked the question that I being wanted to ask and you answered it for me. Thank you so much for what you do. Please continue doing more.
Perfectly understandable! Great educational info to help understand this concept. I’ve read & watched so many different ways to explain this & by far this is the most beneficially comprehensive vid. Thank you!!!
Seriously amazing video! I have watched videos by two different professional courses on this, and this is much much better. Saving me before my RPVI. Thank you!!
It took me very long time to understand this part of vascular, I almost got to the point giving up, because I get very frustrated that didn’t get it. Thank God you made it Simple. God bless you,
due to covid 19, all our classes were moved online and ofc it was while we were learning doppler and hemodynamics.... thank you so much!! i finally understand.
This is great and very helpful. However, for the probe postition I personally find it easier to look at the color box or spectral dopplers line and angle. if it goes left to right, it sends the signal from left and if tilted right from left it sends the from the right. The probe is therefore on the side the signal is coming from.
amazing video ,really the first time to understand it like this ,very easy ,informative and cover all the problem and question that we have ,I would like if you can do a video specifically for fetal doppler .thank you sooooooo much ,
Very nice description. I'm surprised why not adding more videos. Basic to advance Vascular ultrasound. There is no good RUclips channel about upper lower limbs carotid, obs Doppler, renal Doppler, abd Doppler and so on. No good channel. Ppl always search alot. Also plz change your channel name to the most common search word in ultrasound or vascular Doppler, Basic to Advance Vascular Color Doppler ultrasound or Vascular ultrasound madeeasy or anyother easy and easily search able. You are a great teacher.
amazzzzzzzzzzzzing , sure you are professor thanks o much , if i live all my life study all books regarding this it might i will die without understanding it , god with you
Great video. The only part that confused me was when the head (orientation marker) was at the top left of screen but the probe was on the far right side of the vessel.
You should teach an Edelman ESP ULTRASOUND course. I now understand so much better and am excited about taking ARDMS RVT exam. Thank you!!! Any tips on how to pass it???
hi there i really appreciate for your video . could you make a video about colour doppler flow direction of steering box such as flow from left to right or right to left . i do not understand and confuse them . i do not know when it is right to left and when it is left to right . thanks
INCREDIBLE! finally understand this. I thought probe was always on head side and thats why my flow direction was wrong many times. One question, when no color, is the line of site (dashed yellow line) perpendicular to the sample volume?
So, for bilateral upper extremity arterial exams. For BILATERAL brachial, radial, and ulnar arteries the indicator is UP TOWARDS THE PATIENT'S head for long axis images??
I'm confused because the color box is steered? When you put on color doppler, is it showing the correct flow of vessels? Is so, why do you invert the colors?
@@rvtpro348 It will be cool if you teach how doppler formula works, the gold standard test, some protocols, how to interpret spectra and basics physics for vascular scanning.
So as far as what vein it is, is that something we can conclude from knowing the blood flow? I feel like I understand the mapping but I was confused on if it was a vein or artery.
Thanks for this outstanding explanation! I have a question: how do I know the direction of blood flow on transverse images? Where should my theoretical transducer be placed??
Why not use the method of drawing the letter "H" for colour flow imaging too. Colour flow imaging - Can we also say the probe is placed on the side that is jutting out.
You give the probe an angle, either towards or away from the patient's head, and use the color map relative to the direction you're angled. For example, if your probe is angled towards the patient's head, the transverse vessel is blue, and the color map shows blue on the top, you know that the flow is going towards your probe, or away from the patient's head!
OMG! You are a lifesaver. Please make more RVT videos.
I have been struggling with this and you just saved my life! This makes SO MUCH SENSE now 😍😍😍 thank you!!

Amazing. Thanks a lot . Please post more. We are partying for you.
Thanks for simplifying and demonstrating by nice graphics.
It's awesome, many thanks. I was also wondering about how to determine the steering angle, can you help with that?
why are there no more videos from this excellent doctor!!!
Great explaination! Would really help if you d also add the reasoning behind the shortcut gems..
thank you very much for this video. it was very helpful. good job!

It was great. Can you put some video about flow direction in the tortuous vessel please
Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows how I can extract flow velocity from echocardiography images. Any help would be sincerely appreciated
You are the best!
Loved it ! please make more RVT videos
Thank you! I'll be releasing some new videos hopefully soon!
How do you measure blood velocity in the prostate using TRUS? What values indicate an inflammation?

How do you know which way to steer the color box?
How about on a cross-sectional view? When vessels appear like circles?
great teaching

Nice video.please how do you differentiate artery from vein using color Doppler
would you please renal artery stenosis tutorial
Thank you Very much for this !!!
could someone help me out and tell e the orientation marks for each example pleasee.
I'm confused because the color box is steered? When you put on color doppler, is it showing the correct flow of vessels? Is so, why do you invert the colors?
Do u have any other basic to advance Vas ultrasound stuff on RUclips, channel?
what is colour box is rectangular?
I'm confused about the _ and + . CFA should be away and towards the body. But the probe is pointing backwards here?
Where did you invert the image?
Wow that was amazing!!! More video please you've a subscriber
Thank you! I'm working on more videos, I promise! Is there anything in particular you'd like to see a video for in the future?

Hello , hope you're doing fine , is it okay of I ask you some questions about this topic?
Still it is difficult for me to understand so what i can do? Pleasse help me
A picture showing the angle subtended by the probe/beam (with colour flow imaging) would further clarify the things.
How to determine flow direction from a convex array transducer?
Thanks for this outstanding explanation!
I have a question: how do I know the direction of blood flow on transverse images? Where should my theoretical transducer be placed??
At time stamp 8:48 I can't seem to understand how tie ICA is considered antegrade based off of the specifications mentioned.
IT helps a lot! Ty
But why is the transducer on the left or right side of the screen? Shouldn’t it be on top?
Could not understand the dropping of imaginary lines and its relation with transducer please help
Excellent...

awesome, thank you
nice job. 👍👍👍👍
How to determine direction if vessels are in transverse view?
You give the probe an angle, either towards or away from the patient's head, and use the color map relative to the direction you're angled. For example, if your probe is angled towards the patient's head, the transverse vessel is blue, and the color map shows blue on the top, you know that the flow is going towards your probe, or away from the patient's head!
Finally I got it
Very nice
Ugh thank you so much!’n
