Kurt I apologize, but I’m quite envious of anyone who gets to spend time with their Dad mines been gone for 23 years this August Enjoy every day you have with him.
Absolutely love that you are sharing your family's life with us, and you have a repair shop that takes pride in their workmanship! Let's go trucking, Kurt!
Wanted to take a moment to say Thanks for making the videos! I started watching them about a week ago as I've been home with an injury. I like your choice of dogs as we have white German Shepherds. At one time I also drove a Yellow Kenworth W900l and had a Beagle as a passenger often. I like that your parents are in support of what your doing that makes a wonderful family experience. Someday I'd like to share more but I know you'll be busy. Be safe and G-d Bless
Hi Kurt, I've been a subscriber of yours for over a year now, Good to see you back behind the wheel, hope opie is good I guess he's keen to get back in the saddle. Got a new addition to the family she's 8 weeks old GSD. I also have a husky GSD Cross, she's 12 years old. Drive safe. 😊 Peter from the UK.
That service is called, 'One Awesome Dad'! He likes getting out and spending time with you. You have some very talented kids. Very nice, Paige. Opie is going to be the best dressed dog on the road. Stay safe and God bless.
Love Opie's sweatshirt, if he's like ours it will take him a while to get used to it. Can't wait to see him "high stepping" when you try his boots! Be safe out there!
With a truck like FIRST CLASS it’s always best to have shop time and get things done the right way. It may be pricey but when you do things right the truck stays happy
You can keep your long mudflaps. The trick is to use two mudflaps. Put a plastic one on the inside right behind the tire and the long one towards the back. The plastic one will prevent the long one from going under the tire. That's what we do with our dump trailers when we run long mudflaps.
Thanks for your content it really helps me right now my truck started mixing oil in coolant and i was trying to stay positive your videos helped alot i just bought it drove 2200 miles and that was that god bless you
Miss my Dad, he ran daily with my local in a rock truck for 12 years before he passed away…you can’t believe in heaven and then be sad when someone goes there Claire Dutton 1883
Also for the hood hitting the cab. adjust the pointy rubber stops that the hood sets in to keep the hood away from the cab. if they're worn just replace them. That should solve your problem.
Here is a saying that I still use today. It was told to me by a supervisor I worked for making aircraft hangers. 'IN ORDER TO MAKE MONEY, YOU HAVE TO SPEND MONEY". Sure do like the new shirt on OPIE . Can't wait to see him wearing it in First Class. Love the guardian angles also
Love to listen to it first class whistle. I drove some 1969 in NE Thailand suppling various units fighting for us next door in Laos and Cambodia. Big convoys tactical vehicles hauling Ammo and bombs up north. Used to drive first Sargent out to perimeter of Camp to listen for his men coming home. You could hear them whistling in unison from way off. They got closer several dozen Trucks filling the sky with black smoke. Sometimes a smell or sound will bring it all back like yesterday. ❤
Hi everyone. Great vlog as usual. Thank you for letting us tag along. Uber Dad 2 the rescue once again. That was really nice of your subscribers 2 send you those things. I really like those guardian angels, the card & the hoodie 4 Opie. His reaction when you put it on was priceless. Glad Caterpillar of Omaha took care of 1st Class. Having some doubts seeing the title of your next vlog.😉 We'll have 2 wait & see. See ya on the next one. 👍🏼👍🏼
Opie looks good in his sweater. It will be good to see you and first class back on the road again. Tell your daughter she and the rest of the choir did a good job of singing it takes a lot of courage to get up there
Kurt it is a lot of money. However it was well spent. Remember you need to spend money to make money. First class is worth it. She is good as any better than many. Like the new look for Opie. Uber dad, you owe him big, and he brings food. What more could a son ask for.👍👍👍
How was your Big Mack Schmidter I had to laugh . I bet your glad to be back in 1st class with Opie. Drive safe, P.S. No yellow perch in the canal yet. I talked with a guy fishing who had a camera thru the ice and no fish to be seen. But out in Lake St. Clair 10 minutes away they are getting their limit, go figure. Drive safe out there driver.
1st class got her good to go papers , one less thing to worry about , still cheaper than the new junk out there to repair , keep pecking away at things , before you know it 1st class will be like new
Great seeing your mom and dad, and the day care kids are cute. We thought the cost of the truck sounded reasonable, but it is a lot to swallow. Dad is a great “Schmidt All Service” and excited to see the merch when it is ready. Kinda figured that the money pit bed would change, had to try it out to get the kinks out. Paige sounded really good 👍 Opie looked proud of his new duds, lol now he needs his boots 🥾 and he is set. As long as your pups are in your vehicles, they will never be stolen or anything 😊🐠🦮🐾🦂🐹🥶
Sorry I had to laugh when you sat on the Big Mac. About like someone sitting on their glasses. Take care.. Thanks for keepiing things moving for us to get in the stores.. whether you haul it or some other truck.. Keep America rolled ..
Opie looks great. Let him get used to it and he will be fine. Always good to see you parents in the video along with Paige. Looking forward to seeing you back on the road.
Wow this is awesome!! Got ya hooked up to my 32 inch t v !! Everyone looks so much better!! You have a Great Family!! Just like I was there driving Frist Class was Awesome!! Let's Roll!!
Now that's pretty cool. I actually ate at that McDonald's when we left Sturgis back in August. we was heading south down 29 to Kansas City on our way back to the Raleigh Durham area of NC. Put a lot of miles on my bike on that trip!
First class is gonna run great now ...i miss your trucking videos ...get your tweaking done and hook up to one of those shiny Guntren trailers...be safe buddy !!!
I know your glad to get 1st class back I know all to much about paying to get things fixed on a semi truck I owned a 359 ex hood Peterbilt back in the 90's until I had to retire for health reasons but thing is I worked on trucks in the military but you know there's things that a caterpillar shop has to do, I'm sure Opie is ready to get back on the road also, good luck on the next adventure.
Porter greetings! 🥰 Having time with dad….PRICELESS! 🤩 The drive home was quite scenic and beautiful!🥰 It was for me anyway! I’m glad that they fixed the cab/sleeper airbags. Place a level on the floor of the tuck and see how level it is now. I’m kinda shocked that they didn’t check the hood fitting.🧐 Hey, you get to do something after all. Parts Vs Labor…yeah, labor is about 3X the cost of parts. Those back roads made it seem longer getting home. How far was it to home? I’ve seen many trucks that it seemed like the cab was squatting or sagging in the back. I hate that look! But 1st Class didn’t really seem to be squatting at all. 🧐 Opie…he seemed happy to see ya at least and he didn’t just lay down in zombie mode after you placed the shirt on him. Keys…I’ve lost a few over the years, but I now keep them on a bigger key ring and still have an extra in case I lock them in the cab or something like that. It only took one time doing that for me to learn. Do you keep an extra KW key around? Good learning! 🥰🧐✌️
OOHHH, Your Mom gave you "The Look" Don't know why Ford stopped building that full size expedition. a lot of people liked them. Kurt if ya want something done right with a warranty you have to pay to get it done right, and you you gotta find the right shop, I'm the same way. You have piece of mind rolling down the highway. Love the Sweater. Good to have you & Opie back to traveling our Nations Roads.
That's a good price , You got it all fixed now you don't have to worry about it , You need rite off for the New Year and away , I know you don't want to give it to the tax mann 😂😂😁 Looking at that airbag on your sleeper showing me , you should have it up half way between the whole unit , I think the air bag bracket itself is like like 5" , On my Peterbilt they are like that away and I just float rolling down the road be safe take care yourselve kurt
Great video man thanks for sharing 👍 😀 now back to the grindstone to pay for your repairs opies coat looking 👍 good hope he don't put on to much weight ha ha.
Only issue i have seen with silicone hoses are is dont let anything rub against them. I replaced the rubber hood alignment pads on my fleet of mixer trucks with urethane ones. They last longer. Here in Alaska we use plumbing split foam wrap around some of our hoses, insulates and protects. I would suggest spiral plastic wrap like over hydraulic hoses for the one to the recovery tank.
Your best bet on your Ford is to put airbags on the back I did it to mine and it made a heck of a difference it raised the rear end up you can either adjust it up or down
i just moved to kansas city from alberta with a 386 peterbilt that has a c15 acert in it. I guess ive found my Cat shop haha, i will tell them schmidt sent me!
I did buy one of those chinese diesel air heaters on Ebay, going to mount it in my 2015 579 Pete, might pull some inside panels in the sleeper and install a layer or two of a mylar coated bubble wrap thats very populare for rv insulation here in Alaska.
Kurt! I love your show! I love all your family! Everyone! Mom dad Sarah tater totally and bud! Opie,Jax, and Miller too! Even Farmer Dan! But small town Iowa days are over! It won't be long before you have a Walmart supercentter in your town! But anyway I come from a small town! And I miss it! Keep making your videos! I look forward to it every day! And as always, stay safe and I'll see you next time!
Anyway I don't know if you got all that or not? But keep making your shows I look forward to it every day! I'm from St.Louis area! And I a subscriber! Next time you come through here come to Collinsville il. To get fuel! I know that is last thing you want to do is get fuel in Illinois! Lol!
Y’all stay safe out there but seeing you riding with your father reminds me of my VA trips with my dad to Nashville I normally would drive but ever so often he’s like I’m driving he’s 74 so I would make sure my belt was on and airbags lol but yes it’s an expensive trip when ya put the ride in the shop lol
Kurt have you ever thought about putting your keys in your pocket. I promise you would never leave you truck running around Atlanta. When I get gas I take my keys out and lock the door.
Kurt I apologize, but I’m quite envious of anyone who gets to spend time with their Dad mines been gone for 23 years this August Enjoy every day you have with him.

Very true
Great video today. Loved the singing. Stay safe my friend. God bless you all.🙏
Lovely to be an active family.
Love Opie's sweatshirt, if he's like ours it will take him a while to get used to it. Can't wait to see him "high stepping" when you try his boots! Be safe out there!
Sorry about your truck. Hopefully First Class is back too Tip Top shape. Good Luck!!!! YOU AND YOUR FAMILY STAY WELL & SAFE!! FRANKIE LONG ISLAND
With a truck like FIRST CLASS it’s always best to have shop time and get things done the right way. It may be pricey but when you do things right the truck stays happy
Good job you get what you pay for. Stay save..sam
I really like the screen saver on your dad's computer. And I think Opies coat should have been red. Safe travels God bless

Great idea!
I expected it to cost more then that. Good to see first class is back on the road. Lets hope she don't get sick again for a long time.
I hope so to.
Thanks for your content it really helps me right now my truck started mixing oil in coolant and i was trying to stay positive your videos helped alot i just bought it drove 2200 miles and that was that god bless you
Food delivery is "door dash or grubhub", so you have the full package. Love the videos
Love your dads and moms rug. Looks like a Sarouk
Glad you got your truck back, time to make some of your money back
Miss my Dad, he ran daily with my local in a rock truck for 12 years before he passed away…you can’t believe in heaven and then be sad when someone goes there Claire Dutton 1883

That's always good to have a trustworthy shop like that. It's hard to trust a dealership anymore. Great video buddy.
Tater tot has a magnificent voice! Great video your kids are very talented Kurt,Sarah 👍
The Excursion was one of the coolest vehicles made. They are bringing big bucks today.
It's always nice to see your dad and you sat on your big Mac because opie found out you stopped at McDonalds and you didn't get him anything
Opie looks good in his sweater. It will be good to see you and first class back on the road again. Tell your daughter she and the rest of the choir did a good job of singing it takes a lot of courage to get up there

Sidebar comment from me Kurt- Christmas lights, lol. Here in CO you can take down after stock show. I know you have been busy, just need to raz you.
A frugal man will become a rich man! Gene Miller👍🇨🇱

Mr. Kurt, as Super Trucker Dan says. IT TAKES BIG BUCKS TO PLAY WITH BIG TRUCKS!
Opie's like what the Deuce man🤣🤣
First I think, First Class sounds wicked.

Good to see you back at the wheel. Are you feeling good? I'll bet Opie will be happy
Yup
We always kept our mudflaps 6" off the ground. Doordash.
I've heard several people say NMC at Doniphan NE does awesome work. When my truck is due that's where I'm going for an overhaul
I grew up just north of nmc and use to hunt south of i80 as a kid.
I did buy one of those chinese diesel air heaters on Ebay, going to mount it in my 2015 579 Pete, might pull some inside panels in the sleeper and install a layer or two of a mylar coated bubble wrap thats very populare for rv insulation here in Alaska.
Opie reminds me of the kid on the Christmas story! Lol
Nice to see first class back up and running

Awesome performance by tater tot!!
No More Cash!!
So you color matched your tongue to the sweater? Now that's commitment =)
Kurt have you ever thought about putting your keys in your pocket. I promise you would never leave you truck running around Atlanta. When I get gas I take my keys out and lock the door.
Usually that's where they would go. Sometimes when the camera is going I have a tendency of betting scatter brained
Your pops is cool man
Yes he is
