I go for the hybrid policy. In for putts over say 15 ft. & out inside that (because it makes the hole look small to me). Can't believe Matt wimped out on the Par 5 second shot! I don't watch this channel for sensible shots! 🤣 As it stands Matt still smacked a tree, with the possible hero tale, told in bars around the globe for millennium to come, consigned to the dust bin of history.

Hi Matt, great video. Just wondering about your second shot to the 1st - would an 8 iron not have been an option? Like you, I would have putted, but I might have considered an 8 iron rather than a wedge, simply because I wouldn’t be confident with a wedge. Same as for your 2nd to the 6th. But then again, perhaps that’s why I’m a 16 handicapper…
