Should this be standard on all new motorcycles?
Yes, In my opinion, must install it on the motorcycles, cause it sounds sad when there is a motorcycle company called Zontes that has this kinda technology but Yamaha, Kawasaki, KTM ... etc doesnt
Btw test ride "Zontes 310T2x" if you put your hand on that motorcycle, is really cool and full of technology
thank you!!! omg, i have searched this information but no.. no one shares these things.. thanks a lot man really appreciated
My pleasure. If you have any other ideas, please let me know.
isn't the ring terminal for your bike supposed to touch the battery post first, and then ring terminals for accessories can be on top of that? i was always told to do it that way since the bike draws the most power from the battery compared to accessories.
Does not matter in the big picture. Personal choice.
you don't want anything in between the factory wires and the battery
can you jump start bikes using this? If you connected the other end to another bike or would this blow the fuse you talked about?
I’ve used it to start the bike after the battery was dead, but I wouldn’t recommend something small like this just to immediately plug it in and expect it to work
I'm looking for a cleaner way to have an available hot terminal to connect a standard clamp-type cable (rather than your quick connect), so the bike can be jump started or charged with any clamp type connector. Your setup doesn't allow for a jump start cable, that I can see. What I use now is a hot cable from the + terminal through the frame from under the seat for easy access, with a twist cap at the end. Although I've used this setup for years, It works but looks amateurish. The ground strap (or post) really isn't needed with a clamp-type setup.
Very helpful, thank you very much!!!
You are absolutely welcome. Thank you for taking the time to comment.
Thank you!
Should you disconnect the battery from the bike when charging?
No, that makes no sense. The battery should never be charging when you disconnect it.
wait a sec, I like this system with the charging tender connector but you usually can remove the battery and charge it. I did it many times, reading the instructions of the battery charger itself. Am I missing something?
I thought you were asking if I would disconnect the battery while it was charging but that makes no sense. This is a charger and you can charge the battery while it is connected to the bike and fully installed or if you remove it and have it sitting on a bench. Does that help?@@andrearossi2212
C-Teck is The best.
Is that a Vulcan S 650?
Yes
That’s my next bike.
Does it accept 110 -220 Volts? Or is it only 110 for the US market? Thanks.
The ones that we purchased were specific to the United States. I’m not aware that they have another option. I’m sure that most do
@@RemboUSMC thanks... thought so ... will have to search since i have two bikes, and don't like to ride the MS V4s when it gets wet in Hong Kong although it handles far better than my Honda NC750x; just bc i have the option not to get it dirty. I usually come to FL once a year... but not since 2020 :(
This vid saved my bacon. Ty sir😎
Happy to help
