- Abandoned Hardee's - Eastlake, OH. After sitting abandoned for 2 or so years, it would appear construction has begun to repurpose this former Hardee's. Looking forward to seeing what it becomes.

In my area we still have 3 Hardees. All 3 are currently drive thru only. I really wish they still had lobby service since i really like Hardee's...but hate going through drive thrus.
Crazy, back in 2021 I would stop here and get lunch once a week doing my bus route too and from Cleveland Clinic. The food there was really good.

That's my local location. Walking distance from me.
Here in Morgantown we used to have 2 Hardees. One in Sabraton and one in Suncrest. The Suncrest one closed a good while ago and they put a Dunkin in it. That particular one that closed had a special place in my heart. It was my first job out of high school in 1985. (Yea I am old as dirt). I remember on WVU game days as soon as the game was over you could see so many people coming down the hill and swarming the restaurants on 705. The area has built up so much since that you can't really even see the top of the hill near the stadium anymore. I will never forget thinking "Holy bleep" that is a lot of people and they are coming here! Needless to say no on got game days off that I can remember.

That was interesting, My local’s were painted in 2022. The older ones that weren’t redone had a red roof with beige walls, Alongside a yellow star with a red outline. I don’t really eat Hardee’s that much anymore though.
this hardee's is actually in willoughby it's very close to the border of willoughby and eastlake, this hardee's is going to be a starbucks. my mom worked here before i was born and got fired for something she didn't do

There are tons of abandoned old and modern Hardee’s in Tennessee, everywhere. You could literally go down roads and find them everywhere, it’s like Abandoned Hardee’s galore there.

If you ever come to Northwest Indiana, we now have a dozen of abandoned Pizza Hut's now that they all closed.
it was labor day in 1995 and we happened to be sitting 2 tables away from from center and some old guy drove right through the front of the dining room window. he pinned one of the employees between a booth and the front counter. it looked like a scene from a Hollywood movie.
An awesome video, Wallie! 👍👍👍👍👍👍 Here in Weirton, WV we had 2 Hardee's, one on Penn. Ave. where the Mexican restaurant Chico Fiesta is located and the other Hardee's location was downtown on Main street located where the closed Japanese restaurant is, right between the car wash and Mario's Italian restaurant. Honestly, I only ate at Hardee's when they had the chicken and the biscuits. In my personal opinion, Hardee's food went downhill after they took their chicken off the menu.
Hey Wallie, you should check out the vintage McDonald's at Tallmadge Circle that was recently just closed they are tearing down in Ohio.
Hardee's Abandoned Places are my favorite restaurants I always love Going out to eat I just stop going Hardee's.
Also in the Willoughby/Eastlake area there's a Mr. Chicken on Euclid Avenue that shut down I don't know when

The Hardee's in Barboursville was torn down and they built a Kroger gas station in its place. Seen it a couple days ago

The Hardees in Wheeling West Virginia was tore down. They are building a Dunkin’ Donuts down there.
I was just in that area last week and from what I'm hearing they're putting in a Starbucks on this site... but oddly enough, the old Hardee's sign is still up
Are you serious another Starbucks, I thought they were putting a Jack in the box there, I am so tired of us getting the same junk I want something new, this is so disappointing.

We used to get food from this Hardee’s almost every Friday night for dinner when I was a teenager.
I wonder if they will reopen this place and are just renovating it?
I ate here very shortly before they closed and the man working the DT told me a long story about how horribly understaffed they were and had to serve a limited menu at night that was manageable to them.
The burger I got was nasty. Beef was clearly cooked long before I ordered it.
Sometimes this was open, sometimes closed, I had the chance to drive by a couple times in the last month & seen activity like they are gutting it.

There's a Hardee's in Ravenna, Ohio that's actually open, It opened in 2019. It's attached to a BP gas station. Before it was Hardee's, it was a McDonalds. There's also another open Hardee's in Minerva, Ohio
There is also one in akron, that reopened sometime after 2017. I lived in Akron until 2017 and it wasn't there at that time, but on a recent revisit it was. I've been to the ones in Ravenna and Minerva though, and both are decent. Writing this comment, I remembered a second location a bit east of AKron as well, not sure if it's Akron or Ellet where it's at, off i-76
@@dsly4425 Yeah, I've seen the one in Akron. We used to pass it on our way to the Summit Mall, Chapel Hill Mall, and Rolling Acres Mall.
If you tried to go to the bathroom at the abandoned Hardee's people will see you because they demolished the bathroom walls and you can wave to everyone and say Hello James or Miley. That would be very funny if Miley Cyrus drove past and said who's that person waving to me from the abandoned Hardee's.

Eastlake is falling as bad as Euclid. They are spreading from West to East. Moved away 5 years ago.

In albany georgia there use to a Hardee's in a parking lot of a Kmart the Hardee's closed down years ago then it became a Popeyes then it closed down years ago the it became liberty insurance company then it closed down a few years ago all this in the same building it was just torn down and another building was put up and became a slum chicken 🐔 the Kmart on the other side of the praking lot closed down during the bankruptcy closer now it's a big lots

Sadly Carl's Jr ruined Hardee's, the menu was much better in the 90s vs now...only good thing is the biscuits and chicken tenders, which isnt enough to compete with BK and McDonald's

That's the only area in Northeast Ohio that has a Hardees... and there's a Waffle House. It's a little like Northeast Ohio southern city.
