Not blaming him, just a player more on their level probably would have pulled it off. There just wasn't much reason for him to continue to need to be carried when he had a lead

I like that daniel tried his best and wanted to follow vipers gameplan instead of being silent all game until viper is like "whats your pop?" - "25"... (of course this game it was mostly because daniel was his flank so they worked together, but this seems to be a general trend in nil+viper/secret games)

Because if you do it at the wrong time you lose the actual front, the enemy cracks through your base and snowballs in. One good flanking attack isn't worth giving up your base or castles

The future of Goths is they need a serious buff. Your Castle Age rush you could do that with any civ by researching supplies. Lacking the last plate armor in Imperial for infantry shows how underwhelming they're in late game too.

The unit do drop like flies but they are also way cheaper so you can really snowball the numerical advantage. Cheaper units + light speed barracks = Less Eco = Bigger army. They are a tough civ to balance because they are absolutely op in some matchups while getting destroyed in others. SoTL called it having a shit ton of strikers and no goalies Vs normal team lineup, it can be overwhelming but something you just need that goalie

I casted this game live, I really almost lost my mind like 3 or 4 times. When there really seemed like there was the slightest chance of comeback I started banging my head against the table, I really thought this was over pre-imp. In the end I think Nili overbooming back costed you guys a chance, but the game was nuts.

Yo Viper, I really enjoy your streams as well as your RUclips videos, and you've helped me improve a lot. However, I think you should enforce some moderation in your Mixer chat, just a timeout here and there would be enough. It's just been getting worse and worse. There's a few people that in every one of your latest recorded videos or streams feel the need to hate on Nili, Hera, Daniel or other players for no particular reason than to just hate and spread negativity. This actively impacts my viewing experience and I'm sure it does to other people as well. This video is a prime example of what I mean. Fantastic gameplay but my eyes keep wandering to the chat and all I see is hate talk from people who can't even dream of becoming as good as the people they're targeting with their hate.
the problem with my goths is that when they added supplies into the game, and completely left my poor goths hangin, it allowed civs who received fully upgraded champions, such as the chinese, and infantry civs (vikings,aztecs,slavs), to compete and sometimes beat the goths in a head on late game infantry battle. Since the goths ONLY have good late game infantry, they should be able to take anyone's champions head on, which now they do not. they needed to give the teutons +1 melee armor in imperial to the goths, that would solve everything. giving goths the final blacksmith infantry armor upgrade would be too much, because huskarls with 12 pierce armor would be an absolute menace.
In imp fully upgraded goth champs beat every other civ's infantry so badly it's like a hard counter. Supplies barely makes regular civ's champ line go from never used to niche. If you're playing as vikings, az or slavs and make champions vs goth you're doing it wrong. The game should never get to that stage because goth is bottom of the barrel civ on random map. And if it does you're doomed. Your better eco should allow you to finish off the goth player with archers/cavalry.

Danny boy techs into Rattan archers and elephants top while only making a handful of siege and arbalest for brief moments - no sustained production so as soon as they started to win they'd be pushed back again. Sad game
That was a huge fight. Bronze boy holding them on by a tight rope lol. Victory not at hand. SLight of hand lost the game. I've been playing since 99 and I remember all these micro-nerds weren't around at the time. A 40-50 village pop would be a good player. It was always Franks destroying everything along with longbows. From experience playing extreme A.I. during late game they have the ultimate fighting game. I noticed skirms aren't used effectively when these large games online are being played. The turks could've been wiped clean with skirms along with the cav archers earlier in the game. The one unit that the A.I. does a great job at is with the skirms mostly and siege.

You can watch any high level team game on youtube and see for yourself. In 1v1 its a different case as gold efficiency is key. But in team games, goodluck with skirms lol (vs real players).

You kill animals to get food and then you create humans out of it. That is all you need to know about AoE
Becouse you can kill Wolf 1 VS 1 even with knife, but cant do it VS boar. So they want to stay away from it and use bows

Uh skirms get owned by the bbc and paladins. Never a good idea to go trash in a team game where trade is an option.
