Thank you for sharing this! I have my first crochet market coming up in a few weeks and was not sure what to expect for sales. I appreciate you sharing what you brought to market vs sold! Thanks!
You’re getting into it at a great time - the fall is supposed to be amazing for markets! And at the very least, your first show will be a good learning experience. Worst case is you don’t sell as many items as you’d like, but that just means you have plenty of inventory for the next show :) I wish you the best of luck and hope it goes well! 🥰🤞🏼
Not all markets are the same. You made a profit. Sometimes you may not make your table fee. It's all part of the process. 🤦. Hang in there. Your products are so nice. And you speak very well. ❤ Thank you for sharing❤ ❤❤
So worth it! These are great figures for your first markets. The sales will increase with experience. Plus, there's nothing like customer feedback to help guide you on what's working and what products aren't popular!
from what I can tell, you enjoyed the market, met new people, made a lot of people happy with your creations, were able to earn back the costs of your hobby and you even made some profit on top of that. It seems to me that this market was a great success :)
Very informative video and thank you for being so transparent. If I may, I think that your work is great, but from what I see, your booth is missing one very important thing: the attention grabbers. A few huge plushies, priced accordingly, to bring even more people to your stall, to make you stand out from the others. Just a suggestion 😁
@@anthoulakopanelou7520 Great suggestion! I’m always looking for ways to improve my booth setup so I appreciate the feedback. I’ll try making a couple giant plushies for my next show :) Thank you!
aaa your items are super cute! and i defiantly think those markets weren't a waste of time. you got to get your name and your brand out there and probably learned so much form the experience too which you can take forward into future events! as long as you enjoyed yourself then its all worth it! i cant wait to see what you create in the future :D
@@mayumi6707 Thanks so much 😊💖 The chonky mushys are too cute! Also super easy to make :) Here’s a link to the free pattern on insta! instagram.com/p/CUvj1kXhP78/?igsh=Mm95YmEwMmU0OTh4
@@nikkiiscutecrochet thank youu, im new at this world of yarn, i got some but sadly this type of yarn is so hard to work with, but i alerady spend 40 dollars on that so i need to try to make it work lol
Thank you😊 The sea turtle pattern is by One Cent Crochet, I specifically followed her tutorial video: ruclips.net/video/vqPlfiTzTcA/видео.htmlsi=D_g2nhkEaqRrv7zA Super easy pattern that works up so quickly!
Hi Jen! Thank you so much! I have tried it and I love it! It’s one of my favorite patterns. I actually show a really cute fuzzy pink dragon in my room tour video😻
So glad it was helpful! :) I did have to get a state sales tax license. I’m in Colorado and we have what’s called a “special events” sales tax license which allows you to sell at markets without needing to have an official business setup or anything like that. Super convenient for someone looking to try it out without making too much of a commitment! Your state may have something similar. I recommend checking out your states department of revenue website or just googling what you need to do in your state to sell at markets. 😊

Can't thank you emogub for sharing these details. Do you mind me asking if you had to get some kind of sales license for your state?
So glad it was helpful! :)
