I totally forgot to mention it, but I find it so helpful that when you go through all the inventory you bring to your markets you mention the total value!! It’s super helpful to hear this and keeps things in perspective!! When you hear final total sells without knowing the total cost of inventory it’s hard to judge how much you need to make/ bring!!

For my last market, I made almost $200! I'm gonna put $100 into my savings account, and the other $100 I'm gonna try buying some premier parfait chunky yarn! I'm 12, so that's why I'm putting so much into my savings account! 😊
Edit: I forgot to mention, my cats were my absolute BEST sellers! Mostly because the place (which is a bakery) has a very cute cat there, which is why my cats sold sooo well! ❤

Orange and Yellow are my worst selling colours by far, I make keychains too and I enjoy how you go into details on what colours sold!!
Yes it seems those two colors are the least favorites!! I did sell one orange mushy boy today, but that is the first and only one!
As a fellow crocheter who also asks her boyfriend what he thinks of my makes, I’m convinced that as helpful as it is, sometimes only crocheters really know what we’re making 😂 or the buyers lol
But my boyfriend still gives very helpful feedback so I won’t stop asking even if he’s wrong sometimes 😊

I often wind down my evenings with watching other crochet maker market type videos like yours. You tube must have thought I’d like to watch your video because it just popped up without my looking. Subscribed!!! Just started crocheting in December. Funny story, I bought a DIY crochet elephant kit that I planned on making for my husband for Christmas. I had no crochet knowledge whatsoever and for some reason I thought I’d be able to read the directions and make the elephant. Boy, was I wrong . I began watching videos and practicing every single spare moment I had. It became an obsession. I have stuck with it. I did make the elephant eventually. But not before Christmas 😂 I just upgraded from the cheap hook that came with the elephant kit to a clover set:) I’m very interested in doing markets in the future so this was very informative.,

How do you price if you use the full skein? I want to sell but not sure how to price
If you use the whole skein, I would add that into the price! I do $15 an hour plus materials. So if it takes you 2 hours to make and you use an entire $5 skein, it would be $35. Hope this helps!
